The warm, old school family restaurants that I grew up frequenting! I settled into a back corner booth with my laptop and expense report receipts and enjoyed a breakfast skillet. Small groups of 2-3 came in and out throughout my time there. The service was quick and attentive without being overbearing. There's a parking lot for convenience.

The Broadview skillet is my absolute fav! I always have them add an extra slice of cheese and jalapeños. Idk who the cook is back there but he put his foot in this every time! And I don't even like feet! if you're ever unsure of what to get, go with this The staff is also nice and the establishment is always clean! The young Hispanic guy up front is always so pleasant even on the phone when ordering.

I had the breakfast sampler and it came with hash browns, eggs, pancakes.sausage, bacon and French toast

We went here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint the food was so tasty and the price just eight. We had enough to share and it's a nice size space with comfortable booths for large families. We got our food right away and left full and with left overs.

Great plentiful food! Delicious. I kept eating but my skillet remained full. Dude is also taking much of his meal home. This is his first time here, but he wants to try a burger next time. Calm ambiance with great music softly playing in the background.

Other people's five stars made me choose this place and it delivered. The ambiance is perfect for us cause we like less crowded places so it worked. The staff was friendly and hardworking, they were eager to wait on us which is rare this days. The FOOD! Man! The food is out of this world, I had the Egg Benedict and Crepes. The Egg Benedict came with grits for me and i wiped that bowl of grits clean! Haha I have never eaten grits that well before. It's amazing.

Environment is clean and the food is amazing. Service was fast and polite. My wife ordered an Eggs Benedict and she was scraping the plate.. This place is really good.

If you're VEGAN, dont come her unless you want toast, fruit, or a salad (taking basically everything out the menu item but the veggies) . I came here with my mom & sister. I wasn't hungry but I tagged along just to review & upload the menu. Im rating this so low because of the zero vegan options.

The sampler ! Was excellent, high quality food, much better than dennys or ihop, and staff was VERY nice !

Hidden gem, this is the place to get a 5-star breakfast, food was high quality, no cheap ingredients, staff was very nice and helpful.

Very clean local diner a bit of an oasis in the area. Food portion is as expected maybe more as normal American diners. Service is prompt.

Stayed true and got a classic with provolone. I had one of these twenty years ago in Philadelphia proper and I will say this is the best I've had since. The Classic is a truly yummy sandwich. The melted mix of meat, cheese, and onions is outstanding. The bread was soft and held the sandwich together nicely. Excellent. The fries are really good and you absolutely need these. Next time won't be first time and I'll plan my meal and errand schedules better. I'm planning on working top to bottom on the menu.

You can tell they really care about doing it right. Hands down one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've had around here--no question On top of that, the owner is an awesome guy Super friendly, welcoming, and you can tell he takes pride in the place. That kind of energy makes the experience even better. Great food, great vibes, great people. Highly recommend checking this spot out

I ordered one to go and demolished it later that night, like usual. I did sit in and have a few beers and bites. Somehow I've been sleeping on the onion rings and wings this whole time. Listen, listen, listen, Linda, the onion rings; Do Not Change Them!!! Don't you dare switch to those battered, frozen, chain-restaurant rings of bull-s. These are the good rings. Now, the wangzzzz. I'm not going to pretend these are the absolute best wings in the entire city, but they are absolutely in the "I will randomly crave these on a Tuesday" category. The meat could use a little marinade situation to bring more flavor inside, but that crispy coating holds up to the sauce like a champ. I like it, I like it, I like it. Extra points for a buffalo sauce that actually has some thickness to it and isn't just "here's some hot sauce, on a wing being called buffalo sauce. Now, I am going to need to try some of the other wing sauces, but if they hold up too. I would rather come here than go to some other well known wing spots. Honestly, I can see myself rolling through just for wings, rings, and vibes. And that Golden Monkey beer? Yeah, go ahead and keep that on tap forever. Please and thank you. haha

(IT'S) ALWAYS SUNNY IN BOLINGBROOK…read more The spirit of Philly has come to the western suburbs, and with it they've brought their signature cheesesteaks. Charley's is a newcomer to the busy intersection of Boughton & Weber, having taken over a spot previously home to Firehouse Subs (which coincidentally also sold Philly-style cheesesteaks). This location between KO Sushi and a Pearle Vision opened in late April 2023. The buffalo chicken philly ($6.50 for a small) is delicious: sliced chicken, melted provolone, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and hot sauce. I've ordered this twice in as many weeks, and both times I've wolfed it down. One of these days I'll definitely get the Old School Cheesesteak ($8.50). Charley's touts their wings; you can get 6pc regular ($9.50) or 10pc boneless ($10) tossed in your choice of sauce. Options are - from mildest to hottest - sweet teriyaki, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper rub, bold BBQ, Thai chili, Korean BBQ, hot honey, buffalo, and mango habanero. Halfway through dinner the other night, I encountered a big ol' bone (nooooo) in my allegedly boneless wings..... perhaps they should amend this to say "99% bone-free" wings. Few things are worse than expecting a smooth chicky nuggy and chomping down on something sharp and/or brittle. Talk about an appetite killer. I like their style of french fries, simple but satisfying. Try 'em loaded with cheese & bacon ($3.80). The guy who rang up my order was friendly, and even though it took a while for the food to come out, they're a 'hot & new' business with a steady flow of customers, so a wait is to be expected. I cashed in a coupon for $5 off of $20, plus I racked up double points by scanning the QR code via the Charley's mobile app. I've become quite the rewards redeemer as I enter the penny-pinching Scrooge McDuck phase of my life (mid 30's). Every cent saved counts, amirite?? * TL;DR * "Can I offer you a cheesesteak in these trying times?" - Frank Reynolds, probably As much as I enjoy(ed) Charley's buffalo chicken philly, finding a large bone in my boneless wings was a massive turn-off. Needless to say I'm no longer taking any chances, so I'll stick with Bdubs as my preferred provider of boneless wings. You'd hope that a place with 'cheesesteak' in their name would put together a tasty one, and Charley's didn't disappoint. Let's just say I wouldn't have bothered to download their app if I wasn't planning on returning fairly often. Pretty good stuff. Recommended.

Interestingly, for a cheesesteak, it lists lettuce, tomato, and mayo....none of which actually come on the sandwich. (See pictures) Also, it automatically added a $5 tip to our order. Ummmm, no way are you adding an auto tip to my pickup order people. It took us forever to figure out how to remove/modify the tip. I am appalled that you think it's ok to add a tip to an order. As for the food, it was served very hot. Good job there. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. Not a huge amount of steak on the sandwich. (See pictures, and note how little steak there was compared to the chicken sandwich.). The fries were good. The Buffalo chicken cheesesteak was unbelievably greasy and salty. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly, and there was a generous amount of chicken, cheese, mushrooms, and onions. That being said, it was literally dripping in sauce, which was 95% grease, 5% flavor. I would definitely not order this sandwich again. On a side note, we received a text asking us to complete an online survey. I took the time to do so, and when I hit submit, it asked for THE code they sent us. They did not send us a code, so I could not submit the comment I took the time to write. This place needs to get their act together.
