Other people's five stars made me choose this place and it delivered. The ambiance is perfect for us cause we like less crowded places so it worked. The staff was friendly and hardworking, they were eager to wait on us which is rare this days. The FOOD! Man! The food is out of this world, I had the Egg Benedict and Crepes. I stop off to get gas at mobile and happen to see this restaurant. with the previous reviews I was a bit hesitant but went in. Let me tell you that I was treated with kind respect. The service was more that I expected and treated with kindness. I asked the waiter what he would recommend and he recommended several dishes. All sounded good. I had the cream of chicken soup had great taste not salty. Skip the crackers. Thick. Then I proceeded with the Chorizo Skillet with over medium eggs no jalapeños. Rye toast. Was very tasty could not eat it all. Too full from the soup. But good. There was young lady also busy cleaning off the tables. This diner has some good food for breakfast. My sister and I come here every now and then for breakfast. During most visits, the service is pretty good and food comes out fast and hot. This recent visit was a little slower than usual. We had to wait a couple of minutes for a table because it was getting cleaned and other tables were pretty full. We got seated in a booth and it took a long time for our server to greet us. She seemed busy with other tables and it looked like there was only 3 servers for like 25 tables!! My sister and I ended up getting the 2 eggs with ham. Most entrees come with hash browns with pancakes and/or toast. My sister upgraded her pancakes to crepes which was only $2! I ended up doing pancakes. All of our food too a little longer than usual, but no more than like 20 minutes. The server brought the entrees out nice and hot and I really enjoyed all of it! The only upset was that it too so long for the server to notice I needed a refill on water and even when I asked her for a refill, she completely forgot it and was busy with her other tables. My sister ended up giving me her water bottle to pour water in. Overall, good food and a clean restaurant and bathroom as well. read more

The Greek potatoes were absolutely phenomenal and the broccoli taste good after I spooned a little extra Greek lemon sauce over it. The pork cutlet was good but could have been a little less dry, however the gravy made up for it. The cream of chicken rice soup was hands down the star of the show. It needed no salt or pepper and was wonderfully seasoned. Waiters were very attentive to bringing fresh bread and refilling drinks and with a large party we felt we could enjoy ourselves and be comfortable there. I would definitely go back again! read more

The food at the Broadview restaurant is excellent. Great breakfast plenty to eat very tasty. The only negative thing is the restaurant is not open to serve food all day. The restaurant stopped serving food at 3 PM, but they have a slot machine section that is open until midnight when the restaurant closes. You could find yourself coming to get something to eat after 3 PM and fine at the restaurant doors are locked, but the slot machine section is open. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place. We are new to the area and are looking for a family style restaurant. Have tried it at least 5 different times at different times of the day. Most evenings we came we were the only ones or one of a few tables occupied. The food is ok as I've tried something new each time. Went here a few months back . Mind you no one was really in the restaurant just us 4 the table that was there before us had already left. We go to the counter and pay for our food my sister left her tray at the counter again no one is in there we go back in and the manager or cashier whoever he is throws her food away he say "I did not know who's it was very nonchalant with attitude really didn't care a good restaurant would have at least compensated us or gave an alternative to the solution that shows great customer service and keep people coming back.
