My first time here. Cute little restaurant. I had the lemon pepper (dry rub) wings and really liked them. You have the option to order on a kiosk or at the counter. The young lady who helped me was very polite and courtesy with my dozen questions lol Although i stopped by late there were still quite a few customers. It's in a shopping strip so plenty of parking. I would give this place- Charley's in Broadview IL a ZERO-but I have to give this place a one star especially when it came to the quality of the food.This is the first time that I went to this establishment. Service was really good. I was greeted with smiles. The inside smells and looks really clean. I got buffalo bone in wings, lemon pepper wings, Philly cheesesteak and gourmet fries. Both wings were crispy and full of flavor. Buffalo wings were better than wing stop. They were a decent size too. The fries were good but smaller than I expected. Feel the need to drop a review because of the poor experience. It's unfortunate that one employee can cause the ratings to tank so much. This was my first time in the area and I read great reviews about this place so I took a risk and drove out here to try it. First the good... The fries were fresh, crispy, and hot. The inside was spacious and clean. Parking lot had a lot of convenient spots. The bad... 1) Really rude cashier. She did not seem happy to be there. I don't recall her name but I think I remember a Ch in the front. In any case, she seemed disinterested, annoyed, and basically rushed me to order. It was my first time reading the menu and the whole time, she was staring me down with a slight frown on her face. All of her questions were one word. "Side?" "Sauce?" "Flavor?" "Drink?" "Here or Togo?". This would be fine if she wasn't frowning at me the entire time and asking in a rushed and monotone manner. To make matters worse, she was arguing in a different language to someone else in the back kitchen. I wished her a good day and a thank you and she didn't reply. Such a shame given that the man who brought me my tray was actually very kind. 2) The boneless chicken. Came out room temperature and the sauce was watery. Nothing special about these boneless wings. Charley's provides great cheesesteaks ... whenever I am in a spot where a Charley's exists, I will happily get a meal there. My go to is the bacon three cheese steak sandwich, which I have enjoyed over the past 25 years. I was not going to write a review for this place as I saw on the receipt I could give feedback through their survey, I also checked that I wanted someone to contact me from corporate and a week later crickets!! We were here last Saturday December 9th. The food okay, but this restaurant WAS FILTHY!! ALL BUT ONE TABLE DIRTY AND NOT CLEANED OFF...Then I see a worker or maybe the owner moving a dirty table and HE STILL DOES NOT CLEAN IT OFF. Straw wrappers all over the floor by soda machine, nobody cleaning it. Bathroom had no soap to was hands with.....health department needs to shut this place down!!
