The pancakes were amazing and the two ladies working were beyond sweet and caring. This place is one of my new favorites. Check it out!

Visited Brasas on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. It wasn't too busy with only two other parties in the restaurant; however, the service was extremely slow. It took about 40 minutes after ordering for us to get our food. When the food arrived, it was cold. I ordered the breakfast tacos, which was served on extremely dried out, chalky tortillas. Interestingly the menu had all of the prices whited out, so we did not know the price of the items until we received the check. The pricing is decent, but the food quality and service were very disappointing. Definitely will not be returning.

Met up with a friend for brunch and had the best pancakes I've ever eaten! Will definitely be returning!

Primera vez aquí y me encantó la comida. Buen servicio y muy atentos a todo. Les recomiendo este lugar a todos. Y voy a seguir regresando.

Her Monte Cristo...

An absolute hidden gem that we stumbled onto via Yelp, after sitting, soaking wet, (another story) in traffic from Chicago back to our hotel in Naperville. It's a small neighborhood place, sandwiched in with other businesses (maybe some residences). Without knowing it was there, or using navigation you might drive right by. Missing it if you are in the area would be your loss. It was about 1330 on a rainy Thursday and we were the only customers. Our server was really pleasant and our food came, fresh, hot and pretty quick. Perhaps they do an earlier lunch rush or are truly a breakfast place. I found it to be a cozy (it was nice and warm inside and we needed it), a bit romantic with the wood and rich latin color scheme. My wife got a Monte Cristo sandwich, with fries. I got a burger with guacamole and bacon. Every bite was just plain wonderful. The fries were hot and cooked perfectly, the sandwiches were well crafted. My guacamole was clearly hand made and they were generous with it. If we are ever in the area again, we are definitely coming back. From other reviews and search result I see that there is another Brasos a few doors down...I understand a need to differentiate the two businesses (even if same owners?) but "pancake house" for me, and just for me, isn't quite right for a place this sexy. When I hear pancake house I think fluorescent lights, cooks with regrets and parole appointments, servers held back by bad choices in men. I am not saying pancake houses are bad places, they are just a niche, that this solid little cafe, is not.

Meat lovers omlette. Bacon, sausage, steak, ham. Maybe more.

Went around 1pm on a Saturday, wasn't crowded at all. We ordered stuffed French toast, meat lovers omlette, and the Florentine Benedict for me. It came with bacon. I would have preferred egg whites for my cholesterol but I guess that's not an option. In fact I would have paid extra for scrambled egg whites. Don't get me wrong I love runny yolks on my eggs Benedict but my doctor says I maybe love them too much. They were in fact perfectly made. The meat lovers omlette was amazing. My wife got the stuffed French toast, I didn't taste them but they looked great too. For the quality of food and not having to wait I'd say it's a great spot for breakfast food. We had no issues with service at all.

Mexican Skillet, hash browns, waffle, side of bacon

One Saturday morning we decided to try this restaurant for breakfast. The reviews all sound good, with practically 5 stars all the way. It's easy to miss driving down on Roosevelt. We took a chance and now it will be one of our 'go-to' breakfast places. The staff (gentleman and a woman) were very Attentive, and the best part, the prices were very reasonable. 12oz "Fresh Squeezed" orange juice was probably the best fresh squeezed OJ I've ever had it at a breakfast restaurant. The price was $4! You can't even get a small lattè for that price price tag. I ordered the Mexican Skillet, SUPER Delicious! My son have the Belgium Waffle, side of bacon, hash browns and fresh squeezed OJ. The quality and taste profile was very good. We will definitely come back to 'our new breakfast spot.'

A fantastic breakfast spot!…read more I ordered the iced brown sugar latte ($6.50) and the pumpkin pancakes with meat ($15) off their seasonal menu. The iced brown sugar latte was just the right amount of sweet and super pleasant to drink, and my lactose-intolerant self appreciated that it was made with oat milk. The pancakes were delicious. Soft while being very filling. They were topped with pecans that added a nice crunch and whipped cream. It was served with cinnamon butter on the side, and the butter was great on the pancakes, especially with maple syrup (the restaurant serves real maple syrup, none of that fake corn syrup stuff!). The restaurant has a couple of meat options: 4 strips of regular-cut bacon, 2 strips of thick-cut bacon, turkey bacon, pork sausage, chicken sausage, honey ham, and Canadian bacon. I opted for the thick-cut bacon, and it was tasty, a good combination of fatty & crispy. The service was also great. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, but you could still have a conversation without having to yell.

The staff was friendly, the restaurant felt welcoming, and even the bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. My nephew recommended we come to Tony's, and I could not thank him enough as we sat there eating great food served by such a friendly staff. My niece got the Mickey Mouse pancakes and sausage, a family classic, which were fluffy and delicious. HUGE pancakes and crispy sausage links! My sister got the breaded pork tenderloin and loved every bit! The broccoli soup was plain and needed a little excitement, but the pork itself was crispy and well cooked! HUGE portion! WOW! My nephew for the lumberjack platter which was a TON of food. A TON. WILD. Just HUGE serving! The French toast was special; it almost tastes like a cinnamon roll cake. Nice and crispy rounds and soft in the middle. A nice ham steak, bacon, sausage, eggs, and joy. He didn't finish the entire plate but enjoyed every single bite! I got the vegetarian skillet with bacon - I know, I know. It was a long night before this meal, and I needed salt and bacon but wanted all the veggies. What a TREAT! The hash browns were crispy and delicious, not greasy at all which I loved and appreciated, and TONS of veggies. I couldn't finish the entire skillet, but also I happily finished it about 2H later. I just love how I didn't feel heavy after the meal - too full or bogged down by grease. Every single bite was delicious, and I legit cannot wait to go back.
