We recently used EES Services to have our ducts, vents, and dryer vent cleaned - I very highly recommend Jose and his team, and plan to work with them for any future needs. Jose was responsive with communication, upfront with pricing, and easy to schedule with. Before the service, he reached out to let me know everything to do to prepare, and ensured all my questions were answered. They arrived on time, took excellent COVID precautions, and checked in with me at every single point in the process to tell me what was about to happen, and to ask if I had any questions. He and his team were efficient and very thorough with the cleaning, and I was blown away by the before/after photos. After they left, you couldn't even tell anyone had been there, they cleaned up so thoroughly. I don't normally write reviews, but I was just really impressed with the quality of service we received. Again, I highly recommend EES; home maintenance is stressful and expensive, so it's really important to find people who are trustworthy, honest, and thorough - Jose and his team are all of that and more. read more

Jose provided excellent service unclogging my dryer vent. I picked his company based on the very strong online reviews and he totally lived up to them. He came out with modern equipment, did a very professional job and provided excellent communication before, during, and after the service call. Thank you, Jose. I am so glad I found you! read more

Jose is a pleasure to work with. He's professional, knowledgeable and gets the job done efficiently. From the moment I called him he was clear, upfront and easy to work with. He cleaned our air ducts, repaired our chimney crown and installed a chimney cap. Price was reasonable and we are happy with the work him and his team did. I'd highly recommend him. Thanks! read more

I wish every contractor was like Jose! His communication skills are great! Very prompt and sends reminders before the appointment day. He's also very knowledgeable and thorough in what he does. He goes into great detail on what he's doing and answers all my questions. He's also very courteous and wore shoe covers each time he needed to enter the house. I'm so grateful to have found Jose with EES Services because I hired a company (that had a lot of 5 star ratings on Yelp) back in Jan 2018 to clean my dryer vent, however, they did not go to the roof (since my dryer is vented through the roof), so there was a lot of residual lint that was still left over. Jose was like a ninja! He was able to get up on the roof (3 story townhome) and bring down all the lint he took out. I forgot to take pictures but luckily, my Ring doorbell was able to capture all the lint he found. He also examined my dryer area and pointed out that the dryer foil tape I used was incorrect and replaced it with the correct dryer foil tape. Will definitely be doing more business in the future with Jose. He'll be my go to person for all my vent cleaning! read more

I called at the last minute to get our extremely full gutters cleaned. He squeezed us in the next day and even arrived before the scheduled time. Jose and his team were very polite, quick and efficient. He let me know about other things that could become an issue with my gutters and then gave me recommendations. He offers a variety of services and I will absolutely be using his services again! I highly recommend! read more

We had the best experience with Jose. He was on-time, responsive throughout, and did great work. When an issue came up with our gutters, he took the time to thoroughly explain the issue and the possible solutions. We will definitely hire him again. read more

They were responsive, prompt and did exactly what they said they would for the agreed-upon price.

Fast, prompt and thorough! Always good work on my bi-annual gutter cleanings and inspection. Thank You! Jose and crew!

Jose is great. He offers great pricing for dryer vent cleaning. He will show you how dirty the vent is using his vent camera. In our case it was completely clean already which he showed us. He gave us some advice to have repairs done to the vent through our home builder. He is very honest and knowledgeable. I will be reaching out for a full house cleaning for my second property. Thanks again! read more

We use EES for our gutter cleaning, and they're great. Good price, very professional, and have gone the extra mile with some of our requests to see how each downspout extension flushes. Recently also helped with a bathroom vent issue. Highly recommend. read more

Even though I don't have a wood fireplace they helped me over the phone figure out how to set up my gas fireplace. Didn't even ask for anything. Really a clearly honest business looking to build long term happy customers. read more

EES was great! Very responsive via Yelp/text. Jose came out to provide an estimate on Sunday afternoon and he and a teammate were here on Monday morning. We needed a dryer vent replacement as we were switching from the flexible foil vent installed by Lowes (it gets clogged easily and is not up to code) with a rigid metal dryer vent. Jose was very meticulous about coding, which was greatly appreciated as we are heavy users of our washer and dryer. He even set a reminder to reach out again at regular intervals for the next dryer vent cleaning! Highly recommended. read more

These guys are GREAT! I called on a Saturday because my new dryer was giving an error message that the duct was blocked. They came that same day and cleaned the duct (which had a TON of lint backed up in it). Also, they noted that the vent was not properly affixed to the outside of the house (which is what was causing it to get so backed up). They fashioned a temp repair that day and said it should last a while (a year or so), but that a new cap is needed. I appreciated that they were willing to make a temporary fix that day, rather than do a hard sell for an immediate repair. They took their time doing the job thoroughly and explaining the issues, and emailed me pictures of the issues with the vent after the job. They were also so easy to deal with setting up the appointment -- answered the phone promptly, set up the appointment no problem, called and texted to let us know they were on their way, and arrived on time. read more

Look no further....EES Service is company you need to contact. Rarely do you leave a message for a company and they respond immediately. I sent a message to EES Services for a quote and heard back within minutes. Great commutation and Jose made it easy booking an appointment. He showed up on time and got the job done. An amazing job complete!! If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Thanks again, Jose!!!! read more

Highly recommend this company! My interior & exterior dryer vents were due for a serious cleaning. Jose was able to schedule me in right away and did an amazing job. He was on-time (early actually) and was very considerate (wore shoe covers throughout the house). He explained everything in detail and was very knowledgeable. He discovered mistakes/questionable modifications that previous contractors had made to my dryer vents and fixed them all. His prices are very reasonable and we will definitely be using his services again! read more

This is a review not of their work, but of their honesty. We asked them to come do an inspection in preparation for lining our chimney, which is required by code when you get a new water heater that vents into the chimney. When they got here, they explained how with a different kind of water heater than we have now, we wouldn't need to vent into the chimney after all, and could take the $3000 the liner would cost and put it toward that. They literally talked us out of hiring them - and refused even to take any money for coming over to look around, despite our offer. Final bill: $0. How often do you see that? read more

We chose EES based on their Yelp rating and we were very happy with their service. Jose cleaned our gutters and severely clogged downspouts. We also asked Jose to add on a cleaning of our dryer vent. Jose did not try to upsell or pressure us for any add'l services. He was extremely professional and constantly checked in to see if we had any questions. He provided a thorough review of our 30+ year dryer vent and tubing and pointed out the issues that he uncovered. I will gladly turn to EES again in the future. read more

Jose cleaned our vents, and did a meticulous job. He confirmed our appointment, called ahead, answered all my questions, and explained the job before and after. I was so pleased with his work. I plan on making another appointment for gutter cleaning in the next few weeks. read more

Wonderful experience with this company. Jose came by to initially clean out my dryer ducts but then noticed some vital safety issues with my dryer that were explained and shown to me in great detail that I was unaware of. Jose was able to come by just a few days later and repair those outstanding issues and everything with my dryer is working efficiently but most importantly it is working safely now. Jose was very caring and showed great concern in making sure the dryer is working in a safe manner. read more

José cleaned our dryer vent this morning - he was prompt within his arrival window, wore shoe covers in our home and provided his insurance information without us even asking. He quickly cleaned the vents, calling my husband down a few times to show where the lint buildup was and providing advice on where we should tape and reinforce our duct vents to improve the efficiency of the system. We were very happy with the services provided and would consider them next time for our HVAC and/or chimney cleaning needs. read more

Jose cleaned our gutters which had not been done in quite some time and was quite overrun with debris. Jose responded to my request promptly, quoted a fair price and quickly set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment he contacted me to say that he had an earlier appointment available. I informed him that there was no one home to provide payment, and he said he could do the job and would call to obtain payment. It was great to arrive home and not see a garden growing out of my gutters. That evening Jose sent me before/after pictures and I was able to pay him over the phone. Jose was very courteous and professional. Would definitely recommend!!! read more

Jose at EES did a great job cleaning out my dryer vent. I then asked him to install a safer type of vent hose. He was efficient and kept me informed every step of the way. EES will be my go-to for future vent cleaning and I will try them for gutter cleaning as well in the future. read more

José did a great job in every respect, came right after I called him. He cleaned out the dryer vent and brought all of our hardware up to code. I did have to hire a separate contractor to make repairs to the drywall afterwards, but that's understandable. We're happy customers! read more

I contacted EES Services to clean our gutters and do some power washing. I reached out on a Saturday and received a very prompt reply. From the beginning, Jose was thorough in the explanation and pricing of his services. He was able to visit our home within days of me contacting him. He was professional, friendly, and very eager to ensure the job was done well. Overall, we were so pleased with Jose and how detailed he was in explaining some issues with our gutters that he discovered. He did a great job cleaning them and did an amazing job power washing the side of our home and the front walkway and steps as well!! We would hire Jose again in a heartbeat! He is excellent at what he does and he is also a kind and thoughtful professional as well! read more

Our new dryer not working any better than first. Takes forever to dry clothes. Every year the dryer vent is cleaned but it is too long and we want to resolve. Jose Salazar, EES Services, LLC was referred to us by friends. We live in Arlington, VA and I was very pleased to learn EES Services works in Virginia. One telephone call and we had appointment set. Jose called in advance to arrival, arrived on time and thoroughly went through a variety of choices. He provided written quotes for two choices we selected on the spot. Within a week the dryer vent is realigned using galvanized pipe. The monitor of air flow went from 1% to 99%. We highly recommend EES Services. read more

We just had EES Services help us with a clogged dryer vent. The dryer clog ended up being more complicated to solve, but Jose was very professional and communicative on the problem and solutions, including the additional costs. Things are working great today and I would recommend EES. read more

I just want to rave about one of my favorite vendors and the fact that he may have literally saved my life today. I had Jose Salazaar of EES Services come out to do the annual dryer vent cleaning for the condo I rent out (we have used him for a whole slew of projects - air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney cleaning and repairs - and he was already my favorite before today). Upon arrival, he flagged that it smelled like gas in the apartment and suggested I contact Washington Gas. I did so while he set to work on the dryer vent. WG arrived while Jose was finishing up; Jose waited for the tech to finish his inspection - even removing the stacked washer/dryer so that the tech could get better access. The tech found 2 leaks behind the dryer that - if gone untreated - would have caused both health and safety concerns. When the tech thanked Jose, he said "I just want to make sure this lady [i.e. me] is safe." Jose is a freaking superhero and everyone in the whole world should use him for all of their air duct / dryer vent / chimney needs. He knows his stuff, explains issues with clarity in laypeople's terms, and always gets the job done with the utmost care. He is incredibly professional, incredibly courteous, and just a wonderful human being. read more

Everything from top to bottom (calling for quotes, timeliness of email responses, work services, etc) was excellent! Mr. Salazar was fantastic and honest. Thank you!! read more

Incredibly great service. Showed up promptly, showed me his insurance and got the job done asap. He even alerted me to some other issues that he found with the gutters, chimney and piping. He told me these things knowing that I have a home warranty - so its not like he was trying to make money. He took pictures and was SO helpful. I will certainly have them out every year for gutters and dryer vent. Solid, trustworthy company, in my opinion. read more

Jose and his team cleaned our dryer vent recently, and did a great job. I found his name on my local listserv, and emailed him. He was extraordinarily responsive, was able to come very quickly (on the weekend, even, with no surcharge), and did a great job. And it was a somewhat complicated job -- a stacked unit on the second floor, venting out over the roof (it took them two ladders to get up to the outside vent). Highly recommended. read more
