BLUF: This company is fantastic. They went above and beyond and I will absolutely use them again (and again and again). My wife and I were searching for an HVAC cleaning company after a construction job put a bunch of debris in our vents. It was effecting our air quality and our system's performance. I contacted Lowes and set up an appointment based on reviews and what I read about the company. Things got complicated because we were staying out of the house til we got all the post-construction mess cleaned up and trying to time the HVAC cleaning with the house cleaning was...complicated. I moved the appointment...and then moved it back. Lowe's crew accommodated my scheduled flip-flopping - AROUND THE HOLIDAYS - with grace, patience and kindness. Luke showed up to clean our vents and got working right away. We upgraded to a more substantive cleaning since I under bought initially (our system was REALLY gunked up from the construction). He installed out new dryer hose, cleaned the unit and took great care of us and our house. Before he started - I reached out to the home office to make sure they could note the clean up was based on construction debris and they were happy to do so...also provided pictures to back that up. Overall - the cleaning experience was great. Two days later...the thermostat stopped working. Power wasn't getting to nest and I did all the trouble shooting I felt comfortable doing. My common denominator guess was that maybe a wire got disconnected during the clean up. I called Lowe's - and they adjusted Luke's schedule and he hustled out to help. He pulled the system apart and located a fault light on the system and did all the trouble shooting he could - I had another HVAC person coming (clearly a crisis during winter as we were trying to get back into our house so we could have Christmas at home with our kids) who had everything laid out so he could solve the problem in about 15 minutes thanks to Luke. WHO DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE FOLLOW UP HELP AND INSISTED I LET HIM KNOW THAT THINGS WERE FIXED SO HE KNEW WE WERE OK. Lowe's was amazing and provided a degree of service I haven't experienced in a while. I'm so grateful and they will absolutely be my go-to HVAC cleaning folks from here on. Thank you. read more

The owner explained to me that previous management didn't utilized yelp and now it's all being fixed. I ended up going with the gold package. I called this company because i was smelling something through the vents and the worker came checked my vents and realized that wasn't the issue because I have a brand new system,He told me he could would still clean them if I wanted him to I said no.He left and didn't charge me because he didn't do anything. He came back with his boss on the phone who was screaming and yelling at me about why didn't I pay and I canceled at the last minute when his worker told me there was nothing for him to clean. I told him I didn't cancel at the last minute. The boss continued to try to get me to let the worker clean my vents after he already told me the system was brand new and it was no need.. he was very rude and nasty. Lowe's responded promptly and they were very flexible with us on time-frame. We were getting an HVAC repair and needed our ducts cleaned ASAP. They came out the next day and we had accidentally scheduled repair and them at the same time. They were super friendly and said no problem we can come back in one day. They came back on a holiday (July 4th) to get the job done. Not only was Alexander super thorough, but he explained everything to us, and even pointed out some areas where there was leakage (i.e. our ducts were not installed well). He showed my husband how to tape them up to seal leaks for later - however, as he was cleaning each vent, he went ahead taped all of them up on his own to prevent any more leaking of hot air! I tried to have my air duct cleaning. Had to reschedule my first appointment because of my work schedule. The second appointment was confirmed, but then the main office called me the day of the appoitment (about 2 hours prior to scheduled time) to inform me the technician called out. We then recheduled. The next appointment was confirmed at 8am. However, he was no show at 8:20 without a text or a call, so I called main office. They could not get ahold of him, then call me back again said he was stuck at another project. Nevertheless, I requested cancellation at this time. The process took about 2 hrs, and he vacuumed up afterwards. I was concerned about the process because of friends saying the technical recommends a lot of additional stuff not included in packages purchased on line thought Groupon's, which nearly doubles the agreed appoint price. The Lowe's technician Peter was fantastic. He researched where to park in my neighborhood (which can be tricky) and called in advance to confirm so he would be on time, which he was. He was neat, professional, friendly, and went above and beyond in helping me in removing some gross things that had fallen into one of the vents in addition to explaining his process. The receptionist on the phone was very thorough and explained the process to me, and scheduled me at a time that worked for my schedule. The technician came and was very polite, and was very honest with me when he saw that I don't have a normal furnace to do the type of duct cleaning they usually do. Let me start out by saying I never leave reviews. However, in this case I felt obliged. Lowe's was AWESOME, specifically my technician, Uros. He is incredibly knowledgeable regarding the work that he is performing. He is extremely professional as well as friendly. He talked me through and showed me each step that he was taking to clean the vents, returns, HVAC system, etc. I had my doubts about whether it was worth buying the Platinum package and having my entire HVAC system and sanitized and deodorized and dryer vent cleaned, but it was well worth the money. Uros taped off all the vents and return ducts. He showed me the vents and returns and condenser coils that he cleaned as well as the dirt he collected in the vacuum after he was done. It took close to 2.5 hours and was very labor intensive using equipment that homeowners do not possess. The wife and I were so happy with results that we plan on using him again next year.
