They showed up within the 2 hour time window I requested, which I appreciated. The rep was very thorough and answered any questions I had about the service. The work was done for a reasonable price as well, as they were running a promotion. I would definitely recommend. read more

These guys were the cheapest by 1/2 of what everyone else was charging, because I have a small Cape Cod with 2 Units. Everyone else wanted $1200 to clean my ductwork, but I paid $600 to have my ducts cleaned and that included the cleaning of my downstairs unit A/C coil and replacing my dryer vent. Excellent Service and Cost. Only thing they do not do is take before and after pictures of the Duct, but so what, when they get the job done at a great price. read more

We received service from Luke today and it was a good overall experience. The ducts were absolutely filthy and they look clean as a whistle now. read more

Excellent experience all around. Great customer service and very professional. Will use again.

Luke did an excellent job. Cleaned out all the vents throughly and sanitized the vents.

I wouldn't have paid this much money for this service if I had known the service quality. I hardly made him clean the vent covers by reminding him. Not sure about the air ducts since I wasn't following. He was done and leaving the vent covers like in the picture. I showed him and he started cleaning. I wasted my money literally. Coil cleaning, sanitizing, odor kill, just one spray. Nothing more... read more

Lowe's Cleaning - After cleaning - Air Duct Cleaning Near Me - Gaithersburg, Maryland

BLUF: This company is fantastic. They went above and beyond and I will absolutely use them again (and again and again). My wife and I were searching for an HVAC cleaning company after a construction job put a bunch of debris in our vents. It was effecting our air quality and our system's performance. I contacted Lowes and set up an appointment based on reviews and what I read about the company. Things got complicated because we were staying out of the house til we got all the post-construction mess cleaned up and trying to time the HVAC cleaning with the house cleaning was...complicated. I moved the appointment...and then moved it back. Lowe's crew accommodated my scheduled flip-flopping - AROUND THE HOLIDAYS - with grace, patience and kindness. Luke showed up to clean our vents and got working right away. We upgraded to a more substantive cleaning since I under bought initially (our system was REALLY gunked up from the construction). He installed out new dryer hose, cleaned the unit and took great care of us and our house. Before he started - I reached out to the home office to make sure they could note the clean up was based on construction debris and they were happy to do so...also provided pictures to back that up. Overall - the cleaning experience was great. Two days later...the thermostat stopped working. Power wasn't getting to nest and I did all the trouble shooting I felt comfortable doing. My common denominator guess was that maybe a wire got disconnected during the clean up. I called Lowe's - and they adjusted Luke's schedule and he hustled out to help. He pulled the system apart and located a fault light on the system and did all the trouble shooting he could - I had another HVAC person coming (clearly a crisis during winter as we were trying to get back into our house so we could have Christmas at home with our kids) who had everything laid out so he could solve the problem in about 15 minutes thanks to Luke. WHO DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE FOLLOW UP HELP AND INSISTED I LET HIM KNOW THAT THINGS WERE FIXED SO HE KNEW WE WERE OK. Lowe's was amazing and provided a degree of service I haven't experienced in a while. I'm so grateful and they will absolutely be my go-to HVAC cleaning folks from here on. Thank you. read more

I was hesitant to use this company due to minimal reviews on yelp. However on google they are solid. The owner explained to me that previous management didn't utilized yelp and now it's all being fixed. I ended up going with the gold package. When the owner replied back to me, it was not yes and no answers. Was full Paragraph with full explanation and how they do things. I'm glad I went with this company. The tech luke was an amazing tech and explained everything to me as well. He went above and beyond with his work ! I would not hesitate to use this company. Their pricing is more than fair and no hidden charges or anything. The house smelled so fresh. read more

Excellent service! Can't go wrong with this company! Luke provided exceptional service! My home smells extra fresh and clean! This is now my "go to" company for my duct cleaning! read more

Quick, efficient and polite, these guys get the job done right and are reasonably priced.

Great work, extremely efficient, and clean! It feels good knowing the air we're breathing at home is more fresh than before.

Lowe's was the fastest to respond to my request for a quote. Their technician Luke arrived on time and did a great job and cleaned up after the work was done. He even swapped out the filter for the HVAC when he found it to be dirty. He offered to put in a new lint duct because ours was broken - we chose not to take up the offer. I would hire Lowes again. read more

I called this company because i was smelling something through the vents and the worker came checked my vents and realized that wasn't the issue because I have a brand new system,He told me he could would still clean them if I wanted him to I said no.He left and didn't charge me because he didn't do anything. He came back with his boss on the phone who was screaming and yelling at me about why didn't I pay and I canceled at the last minute when his worker told me there was nothing for him to clean. I told him I didn't cancel at the last minute. The boss continued to try to get me to let the worker clean my vents after he already told me the system was brand new and it was no need.. he was very rude and nasty. The worker was great and it's a shame he has to work for a man that treats his customers in such a way. I guess his boss was just mad he didn't scam me ‍ read more

Great service. Very nice and helpful technician. Took the time to really clean and show us some things we needed to do

Lowe's responded promptly and they were very flexible with us on time-frame. We were getting an HVAC repair and needed our ducts cleaned ASAP. They came out the next day and we had accidentally scheduled repair and them at the same time. They were super friendly and said no problem we can come back in one day. They came back on a holiday (July 4th) to get the job done. Not only was Alexander super thorough, but he explained everything to us, and even pointed out some areas where there was leakage (i.e. our ducts were not installed well). He showed my husband how to tape them up to seal leaks for later - however, as he was cleaning each vent, he went ahead taped all of them up on his own to prevent any more leaking of hot air! This was extremely kind of him to go above and beyond to do this. Will definitely use their service again! read more

I tried to have my air duct cleaning. Had to reschedule my first appointment because of my work schedule. The second appointment was confirmed, but then the main office called me the day of the appoitment (about 2 hours prior to scheduled time) to inform me the technician called out. We then recheduled. The next appointment was confirmed at 8am. However, he was no show at 8:20 without a text or a call, so I called main office. They could not get ahold of him, then call me back again said he was stuck at another project. Nevertheless, I requested cancellation at this time. While I understand things unexpectedly happen, I expect a courtesy call/text to inform me about the change in plan. Otherwise, it's really hard to trust them for this job. read more

The dryer vent was giving me issues and I made a few calls. Lowe's cleaning gave me the best rate (not only for the dryer vent but for the duct cleaning of the entire house) and also gave me the quickest window to fix. Once they arrived, they were efficient and thorough. They showed me how much lint was stuck in the dryer vents and also replaced the outer duct free of charge. I am very happy with their service and will recommend them! read more

They answered questions prior to scheduling very quickly. Scheduling was easy, they gave a reminder call prior to the appointment and showed up on time. Work was done well and they even pointed out a service that I had asked for but didn't need. read more

I just had my Air ducts Clean by Lowes Cleaning, my house is older (1976), and I don't think it had this type of cleaning before. Additionally I do have a dog. So it was bad..I purchased the following Premium package # 2:Air Duct Cleaning + Santiizing + Odor Kill/Air Freshener --flat rate ( per 1 HVAC system and if house/apartment is below 3000Sq ft.) and a FREE Odor Eliminator for $249.00 The technician Peter was great, he was on time, covered his shoes when he entered the house, explained everything he was planning to do, and addressed all of my questions. The process took about 2 hrs, and he vacuumed up afterwards. I was concerned about the process because of friends saying the technical recommends a lot of additional stuff not included in packages purchased on line thought Groupon's, which nearly doubles the agreed appoint price. However, Lowes was great job with the surface and I have already recommended them to friends and family. Ask for Peter!!! read more

I researched local air duct and dryer vent cleaners for three days before deciding to use Lowe's. I now know these guys are truly the best and do the job right. The tech was detail oriented and scrubbed the vents thoroughly. He showed me before and after live video of the vents and cleaned out my dryer vent really well. I strongly recommend this company but caution everyone to make sure they are using the right Lowe's as there are other businesses with similar names. The website is lowesairduct.com . read more

These guys were great! Scheduling (and rescheduling) online and by phone was easy, technician showed up on time and helped me find my outside vent, and got to work cleaning. Job was tough due to decades (!) of lint buildup, and he had to come back with a partner and more tools because of this, but everything was completed perfectly and ducts were fully cleaned afterwards. I would definitely use them again and recommend! read more

I reached out to a number of HVAC cleaning services on Yelp, and Lowe's was one of the most responsive service providers. They laid out all of their pricing options clearly, and were incredibly flexible with scheduling. I was able to secure service for 9 am on a Sunday after reaching out on Thursday. The Lowe's technician Peter was fantastic. He researched where to park in my neighborhood (which can be tricky) and called in advance to confirm so he would be on time, which he was. He was neat, professional, friendly, and went above and beyond in helping me in removing some gross things that had fallen into one of the vents in addition to explaining his process. While they didn't have any ratings on Yelp, they had an A+ rating on BBB, and it's definitely well deserved. I will use them again and highly recommend! Thanks team! read more

I have been scammed with air vent cleaning in the past, so I researched and spoke to a dozen different duct cleaning companies before I found this one. The receptionist on the phone was very thorough and explained the process to me, and scheduled me at a time that worked for my schedule. The technician came and was very polite, and was very honest with me when he saw that I don't have a normal furnace to do the type of duct cleaning they usually do. He was very polite and recommended me to contact another air vent cleaning company and to explain that I didn't have a normal furnace so that they could be prepared. Thank you for being honest and for your detailed explanation, and I will certainly recommend your services for other people that are looking for vent cleaning that have a normal furnace! read more

Let me start out by saying I never leave reviews. However, in this case I felt obliged. Lowe's was AWESOME, specifically my technician, Uros. He is incredibly knowledgeable regarding the work that he is performing. He is extremely professional as well as friendly. He talked me through and showed me each step that he was taking to clean the vents, returns, HVAC system, etc. I had my doubts about whether it was worth buying the Platinum package and having my entire HVAC system and sanitized and deodorized and dryer vent cleaned, but it was well worth the money. Uros taped off all the vents and return ducts. He showed me the vents and returns and condenser coils that he cleaned as well as the dirt he collected in the vacuum after he was done. It took close to 2.5 hours and was very labor intensive using equipment that homeowners do not possess. The wife and I were so happy with results that we plan on using him again next year. Thanks to Lowe's and Uros!!! read more
