Mohamed offered a same-day inspection, quickly diagnosed the problem, and scheduled a follow-up once he had the parts. With parts in hand, he quickly remedied the issue, explaining the cause and the fix in full. He was very transparent about his pricing and was graciously flexible on the up-front vs. total cost split. A few days later, we actually encountered another issue with the washer (not his fault) and he came out quickly and remedied the new issue as well, and we're all up and running again! He's always prompt, incredibly friendly and professional, and I'll continue to rely on him for our appliance needs.

Bob did an amazing job troubleshooting my HVAC at a reasonable price with great customer service!…read more HVAC was acting up. Ultimately, it needed a full replacement. It was not under warranty. Quotes were obtained via Yelp from several local HVAC vendors. Original in-person diagnostics was obtained from a large HVAC company, also. They were priced too high and lots of upselling. Bob had a great price and diagnostic service was prompt, which was far superior than the rest. He was swift in ordering the new HVAC unit. He even assisted with the home owners insurance process, as he's a subject matter expert. He personally installed the HVAC with one of his other assistants. It's running smoothly, as we checked heat and cooling. He gave pointers, as well. I highly recommend Bob. Support this small business. Best prices and superb service in the Arlington area. No price gouging here. Just honesty and reliability, at an awesome price.

After having what I thought would be a straightforward check of my gas boiler furnace to prepare…read morefor the winter, a local company advised me I would need additional replacement and repairs, resulting in a $3,000 project. Decided to contact additional companies who could work with older boiler systems and in addition to a much lower estimate, Mirko of PCK was able to schedule his service and it was done in good time. The upstairs heating is so much better now! At a significantly lower cost. I know this boiler will need to eventually have to be replaced, and I will count on Mirko for the work.

They are professional, punctual, knowledgeable and do good quality work. I very much respect the…read moretechnician, but the problem appears to lie with the company's practices and fees. The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

I initially thought about taking off a star because John arrived outside of my appointment window,…read morea pet peeve of mine, but then I remembered a few things: he came on a Sunday, on less than a day's notice, Arlington is very far from Upper Marlboro, the appointment before me went over, which can happen to anyone, and most importantly, small businesses are the backbone of America. John was very polite and immediately told me my HVAC closet smelled because a mouse died in there. He also called a relative while at my place and on the way home to give me their suggestions on dealing with the smell, which has nothing to do with HVAC and is above and beyond in my opinion. Yes, I did have to pay the $100 fee to come out. I paid in cash to not have to pay the 10% processing fee. I was fine with paying this to have someone come out so quickly, and on a Sunday.
