Original Grinder Sandwich prepared dry as a bone.
    Richard D.

The was my first time going there. When I walked in I told the gentleman at the counter that I wasn't sure what to order because this was my first time ordering from them. I asked about the Original Grinder sandwich and was told it was a big seller. I ordered it to go along with a Eegee Pina Colada. When I got back to work and took a bit of the sandwich it was extremely hard and dry. I couldn't believe that it didn't come with any condiments. Just bread meet and cheese, it was very dry and lacked flavor. I ate a few bites from one half then tossed the rest of it away. Later after work I stopped back at Eegee's to inquire about my terrible experience with the Original Grinder Sandwich the same person who took my order was still there and told me that it was missing a spread that went on the bread, I knew something was missing from the sandwich I received. He offered to take care of it and was very nice about it but said he would have to talk to his manager. When she came to the counter she told me I should have immediately brought it back but I couldn't because I had to be at work. I did have the receipt with me but that didn't matter she wanted to play hardball. Originally I only wanted the spread that was missing so I could eat the other half I left in the fridge at work. She demanded that I produce the sandwich so I asked for her name since she didn't wear a name tag. Kylie told me to bring the sandwich back tomorrow for a refund. I told her I write reviews often and this one wasn't looking good so far. Kylie replied I really don't care ! So instead of me just wanting the condiments that was missing I now wanted a refund. On top of getting a sandwich that wasn't made properly I also received terrible customer service. I have attached a picture of the sandwich for others to see why I rated them with a single star

    Same thing bruh

I just went and let's start with the chick at the window that didn't even want to speak to us, gave us no ranch and gave me a piece of yalls counter lmaoooo. Like wtf dude, as expensive as this is I don't want my drink with a butt plug. Thank you

This pretzel is mostly uneditable. It's hard as a rock from being over microwaved.

You guys seriously? Not only did I have to wait 30 minutes for half a sandwich and a pretzel with cheese. I can't even eat most of the pretzel because you cooked it for too long? Please do better

Super easy drive through experience. Ordered a size small eegee's and fries. Quick preparation and all the staff I saw wore masks inside. Was out of that drive through in 5-7 minutes with a couple cars in front of me. Eegee's is a must in the hot temperatures of Tucson given how refreshing and fruity it is. I like the classic flavors Strawberry and Pina Colada. Not a super even 50-50 split of the two flavors in my cup but that's still ok. Eegee's fries with ranch are legitimately the best fries in town. Hot and fresh fries with the refrigerated flavorful ranch is match made in heaven. Highly recommend.

Have not been to an Eegee's for many years. A staple of Tucson and recently in Phoenix. Had a medium grinder with a side of ranch fries with bacon. Not sure what they do different but liked it much better than Subways. Glad I did not get the large. I like this place.

Ordered a lemon Fizz and a large fries. Was surprised when I got the lemon Fizz and it was green, but that was on me for forgetting about their Christmas promotion. Taste was great. The fries took what seemed a normal time, but were a little overdone for my liking. Still good, just not as good as I've gotten before. Service was excellent, as always.

I stop at this Eegee's for lunch during work and it can get packed. Everyone is constantly trying to get orders out left and right but sometimes the line does extend quite awhile. From ordering to getting my food it takes about 5-8minutes. Everyone has been extremely nice and helpful to improve on time but I know the lunch rush is hectic. I continue to support Eegee's and this location, I do not see a time as of now that I won't. They work hard and haven't messed up any of my orders. I give them props for being under all the pressure of drive through and hectic customers. I have been to this location after lunch and went inside. The inside takes much longer than drive thru. If you do not have plans you can go indoor but otherwise even though the drive thru can be a little while it's still much faster than going inside.

Lucky lime is one of my favorites I am so happy that it is the month of March I live for this month it is nice and refreshing love love love it I also love the original orange as well as piña colada. In fact this place was one of the very first places I ever worked as a teen. The sandwiches are delicious I enjoy having my original eegee grinder served hot makes it so delicious. Try out the turkey sandwich grinder style you will be extremely happy that you did, and the french fries are the best especially served with a side of ranch.

Always good service and never a bad experience. The foods delicious, but let's be real, the ranch is the real winner here.

Parking is in the back and seemed pretty crowded even though I visited during an "off" time -- around 2pm -- for lunch. Still, I eventually found a spot and didn't have to walk too far. The inside of the shop is nothing fancy: order at the window and pick up when your name is called. There are a few 2-person tables inside by the order window and some outdoor tables. There may be some tables in the front, but I didn't make it up there. I had the full-szed Badger as it comes standard (Steak, Pepper Jack, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Pepper, Grilled Jalapeño, Lettuce, Pickles, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic Spread) on Ciabatta bread. Even though I thought I was hungry, it was a LOT of sandwich and I could have been fine with the half. The place was empty save for two other people waiting on orders and they departed quickly upon receiving their sandwiches. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful while I decided what I wanted to order and offered some suggestions. I sat at one of the small tables and enjoyed my hot, fresh sandwich: the sandwich was both temperature hot and spicy hot, thanks to the really nice jalapeños! I'l definitely come back!

Folks behind the counter are very friendly. The only thing I noticed is they seem to struggle with a really clunky point of sale system. There were many looks and gasps of bewilderment from the two folks trying to ring up orders. This significantly slowed down the long line. They have weird policies around adding chicken to the Bobbi salad. It literally makes no sense to charge $3.50 to add chicken to that salad when it costs $2.99 to add it to any other salad. It's the same amount of chicken, according to the folks behind the counter, but they have to do what the clunky point of sale system tells them to do. Otherwise the food is good and it's a decent spot to grab a note to eat. I recommend the bullrider wrap. Don't add chicken to your Bobbi salad. Mayhem.

This place is located in an artsy / entertainment district close to downtown. When we went, there was road construction nearby that made getting here more challenging. Once we located it, the next challenge was parking. We visited around noon on a Saturday. There are no large parking lots, so you have to find something on-street. We ventured a couple of blocks off the main street and found something. However, the signage wasn't really clear on whether you had to pay on weekends or not. We accessed the parking app via a QR code, but it told us that our space 'was not available', despite the fact that we were in the space. A guy leaving the space next to us confirmed that parking *was* free on weekends, so we trusted that and walked to the restaurant. In retrospect, I think the app meant that we did not need to pay, but 'not available' seems a bit vague for that... The restaurant is located on a strip of old storefronts that now house restaurants, record shops, etc. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic out front, including a homeless guy asking for change. The atmosphere was sort of a loud, slightly cramped dive bar. I don't mean that in a bad way, but that was the vibe. The music was loud - none of it was familiar but I didn't hate it. I guess my point is that if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, this is probably not it. We initially were offered a table on their covered patio. We left one person there while sorting out parking, but when we came back they had a booth inside so we grabbed that instead. The patio seemed shaded and semi-comfortable, other than a loud barking dog. We browsed the menus and ordered our food. We all got half-and-half combos (soup/salad or sandwich/soup). The only issue was that the soups came in a bread bowl. I was able to finish my soup, but felt bad about not eating more of the bowl. If I'd had the option, I would have gotten a plastic bowl. The salad was pretty big, despite being only half. I finished most of it. We ended up having sufficient leftovers from others such that we took them back to our hotel (a relatively short drive) and finished them the next evening. All the food was tasty. This wasn't what I was expecting, but I'd consider eating here again given the right circumstances / group.

When first entering it's a very small booths and bar but if you continue down the hall past the bathrooms they have a big open outside/indoor patio seating area! Great if you have kids or pets with you So the food. Honestly some of the best sandwiches I've ever had Their combo with the bread bowl and half a sandwich is hard to beat to be honest. A little bit of both worlds there I recommend eating the bread bowl first because it's more filling that you think and you can take the sandwich home They have a wide range of options for everyone And even offer a picky kid friendly sandwiches like PB & J, might sound boring or normal but that was the best PB & J I've ever had The staff is very nice and helpful They run the bar also and will bounce between the bar and your table So if the bar is busy I'm sure it could take a bit for you to order at your table Great food Great environment And friendly people Highly recommended!

First of all, it's extremely rare to find an entire restaurant that does not use seed oils. This is what drew me in when they first opened because honestly, sometimes it's nice to be able to go to a restaurant and know that you won't feel like complete trash afterwards. I also like that they use some organic items such as sugar and spinach as well as grass-fed butter. Secondly, the whole look of the interior is very welcoming. The lighting, the cute neon signs in decorative greenery, the way they hang decorations for different holidays, and even the TV that shows music videos is a cool touch. The staff is very friendly and sweet. I've been three times now, and one of those visits was for my birthday. When I told them that I was ordering the birthday pancakes because it was in fact my birthday, they later brought out a free piece of cheesecake with a candle in it! So kind, especially in this day and age where not all restaurants give a free birthday item anymore. There is a good variety of items, including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, omelets, sandwiches, soup, and burritos. And there are vegan options that are made clear so that you don't have to modify existing menu items if you don't have to. And their green juice is tasty -- very fruity for those who don't like it too taste too much like vegetables. On my most recent visit this weekend I had the juice as well as the Spin'On cheese omelet which was very filling and satisfying. My dining partner had the salmon toast -- we loved the pile of sprouts on top which was a unique touch! Yes, it's true that perhaps they don't use a whole lot of seasonings and spices in the meals. However, some people prefer that. And also, salt and hot sauce are always available for those who feel it doesn't have enough flavor. I like supporting a local business that is willing to offer some healthier options, so I will keep coming back.
