I don't go out of my way to review large chain fast food, as I feel like it's usually a throwaway and typically you get what you get, but this location I went to yesterday deserves the rub here, as my experience was actually very good and likely the best Weinerschnitzel experience I've had on the west coast. I mean that. The food was all good, fresh and tasty, even the burger, which, if you follow my reviews, I am strict on, wasn't bad at all. Will it rock your world? No. But it definitely had more flavor than Culver's or Blake's, which was welcome. The service was great also, which was a shock. The cashiers (I ordered twice) were both nice and personable. Funny story, the young man who helped me remarked he hate 40 jalapeño poppers in one sitting once . Anyway, this was a great experience and I am grateful. read more

Some might think, why would a vegetarian even try a Wienerschnitzel? Well we assumed they offer veggie dogs for a reason. Ordered a veg Chicago dog, even clarified at the window that it would be veggie. Sure enough, we get home... it's a regular hot dog. No green dot on the box. Ripped a piece off the dog, its meat. Apparently the employees can't be bothered to honor their customers dietary requests. Must be too much work. This has happened more than once at this location for us. Came through drive-through for their 4 chili dogs for $4 deal today and low & behold, we got an AI taking our order!! They are so cheap now they can't afford a real person on the mic??? We had questions & they couldn't even answer! Once we got to the window the human was nice but didn't really understand what we were saying about the AI system. The nice thing is when you're at the drive-thru, even if the person in front of you has a big order, they come out the door, take your payment, and then if it's done before the car in front of you is done, they bring yours out and you can back up and be on your way! read more

The fries arrive stale, chewy, and rubbery, like they've been sitting around way too long before getting to me. The chili cheese fries are rubbery instead of crisp. It's disappointing because I know how good they can be fresh, but delivery has been consistently bad with them and even more so at night at this specific location. My husband loves Wienerschnitzel. We've been to this location a few times, and our latest visit included a drive-thru order with COVID measures in place. The employees had masks and gloves on, and the drive-thru window had plexiglass over the opening. The challenge for the employees was to reach underneath the plexiglass to hand out the food and transact the payment. Despite that, they were very friendly and courteous. I ordered my go-to kraut dog but added the tamale which isn't offered at my local Wienerschnitzel back home. My husband ordered his go-to Special #1 with the two chili dogs with a combo meal of fries and a drink. We upsized the combo to a large. My kraut dog was very good with the right amount of kraut to mustard ratio over the standard hot dog. The bun was nice and soft as well. The tamale was not very good with the internal meat being a bit dry and the spice level not to my liking. I'm a bit of a wimp on spicy foods, so I may not be the best judge. The fries could have had a bit more salt for flavor also. I'm sure we'll stop by again when in the area. read more

It's hit or miss for me. This place use to be on the cheaper side. I stopped by after work tonight ordered a regular chili cheese fry and it came out to 7$. The lady at the window was nice when I asked if the price was correct. The food was good and the service was fast for being 11 at night. They also have party packs which include a variety of chili dogs, fries, corn dogs and drinks. They have coupons in the mailers, usually on Saturdays so keep a look out cause they offer some good deals. read more

I was in Tucson And haven't had a good hot dog in a long time. I ordered two hot dogs. One was a chili cheese dog and the other a Chicago style. I remember years ago ordering chili cheese dogs and loving the way Wienerschnizel made them. Well times have changed in a big way. Since Tucson doesn't really have any dedicated American Hot Dog stands, this place is a Diamond in the rough. Located on Kolb Rd , just South of 22nd Street ( right in the heart of town) . This visit was an eat in dine, and the service was excellent ( very friendly employees ). Purchased a 100 % All Beef Kraut Dog and a Corn Dog. I recommend upgrading to a 100 % All Beef Dog, no matter what type you order. The Hot Dog was very fresh and the taste was great. At this location you can eat inside or they have a small patio out front. Either way, I am glad I stopped by here. Was a very good experience at a reasonable price. A nice change of pace. read more

Haven't had Wienerschnitzel in ages - used to love the chili dogs. Going with them again - stick with the known. This location has been here a long time. Not too much to look at, but a new coat of paint, cleanup, and it looks good. Chili dogs still taste great ! Fries are not what they used to be, but I don't come here for the fries. Service was friendly - prices are good, always running some kind of specials and probably even still have coupons which was one of their trademarks. The "brown bag" specials are also a good deal.
