Both times, he did a great job of explaining options, asking what both I and the neighbors wanted, and then delivering on that. Today, in addition to the magnolia, he also pruned a jacaranda in our front yard and two other tree/shrubs in our backyard. He arrived on time and left the place very tidy. Another glowing review for Josh. Our neighbor uses him annually for all her tree pruning and shaping and raves about his work, and she is meticulous with her outdoor space. He came over for a consult (arriving on time) and walked through our entire property giving us his guidance and recommendations on every tree (even telling us what they were!). He was so helpful and mentioned that none of the work we needed done was that big of a project, and if we were confident and had a few tools we'd be able to do it ourselves. WOW WOW WOW!!! Oh man.. I wish I had taken some before and after pics. Yesterday Josh came by to look at the my out of control persimmon tree and an equally out of control camelia. It became immediately clear how important the esthetics of the tree was to him as has been mentioned in the other reviews. We discussed which branches should be removed to improve the shape of the tree. He was also totally upfront about what the job would cost. Being a small-ish job, Josh figured that he would be able to fit me in but it wasn't sure exactly when. So today, I get a text from him letting me know that he might be able to squeeze me in. Great heads up. I told him that I would be available. A couple hours later, another text that he was on his way. Total communication. Their work is OUTSTANDING!!! My trees are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The job site was thoroughly cleaned and left in excellent condition. Their logo says it all - Experienced Artistic Efficient!!! I called on Josh (who was pruning my neighbor's trees) to give me an estimate on tending to 2 overgrown and ugly cypresses in my yard that looked very distressed. He weighed the pros and cons on trying to perk them up with pruning or cutting them altogether, and I decided to cut the 2 trees off -I felt his advice was honest and well informed. He came back the next week and did the job very cleanly, with good communication in-between. His price was also very reasonable. Joshua and crew did a great job for us. We had several larger Eucalyptus trees to trim, not a small job. Some trees hadn't been trimmed in years and some had broken limbs from recent strong winds. The team tackled the job with gusto, even worked through rainy weather to get done. They were courteous and took good care to watch out for our horses and chickens during their work.
