Eden's Tree service did an EXCELLENT job on our property. Mr. Juan and his wife were very professional when they came by to give us our estimate. The following day when they came to cut down 2 large trees and trim several trees in our back yard they did it all from sun up to sun down. The clean up was excellent and they were efficient. We definitely recommend their services and we most certainly will use them again in the future. Thanks guys for a job well done!. read more

Eden Tree Service - Eden's tree service cutting down a huge tree in our front yard.. - Tree Services Near Me - Berkeley, California

SUCH a good experience! I needed a big tree trimmed to remove any dead branches or hangers. Joshua's consultation was thoughtful and informative and his suggestions were really good. On the day, his and his crew's work was excellent...they identified problems and took care of them, worked well with my neighbors, and consulted me throughout the job so I could make some judgment calls here and there. They were careful not to trample anything in my garden and left the property immaculate. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

i've had joshua and his team come out to our property twice so far, and each time they've provided great advice and guidance regarding what work should be done as well as top-notch results... all with amazing value. i couldn't recommend them any more! read more

We have a huge, old magnolia in our yard, which Joshua has now pruned twice. Both times, he did a great job of explaining options, asking what both I and the neighbors wanted, and then delivering on that. Today, in addition to the magnolia, he also pruned a jacaranda in our front yard and two other tree/shrubs in our backyard. He arrived on time and left the place very tidy. I highly recommend him. read more

Joshua and his team were friendly efficient and communicative. They provided the service requested at a good value and I will definitely use them again. read more

Never returned my call. I had wanted to set up an appointment for an estimate for an uncomplicated tree removal.

Another glowing review for Josh. Our neighbor uses him annually for all her tree pruning and shaping and raves about his work, and she is meticulous with her outdoor space. He came over for a consult (arriving on time) and walked through our entire property giving us his guidance and recommendations on every tree (even telling us what they were!). He was so helpful and mentioned that none of the work we needed done was that big of a project, and if we were confident and had a few tools we'd be able to do it ourselves. He shook our hand and wished us well after some pleasantries. We don't need him at the moment, but we were so impressed with his knowledge and clear passion for his job, professionalism and honesty. When we do need tree help, Josh and Eden Trees will be our first call. read more

Josh and his team are the best! Their knowledge of trees and workmanship are superb! They've been trimming my Mom's yard for at least 10 years and the trees always look great after their trims (not too much, not too little - just right!). Plus they leave the yard spotless and are punctual, reliable and communicative. Eden Tree Service is the best company I've ever had the pleasure of working with in my life. You will love these guys! Highly recommend Josh and team! read more

Totally recommend Eden Tree Service. I was extremely grateful that they were able to fit us into their schedule on short notice because we needed trees trimmed prior to getting our house painted. I love that they are very collaborative in deciding how to trim, asking about our preferences for the look of the trees and thinking about the long term growth of the trees, not just hacking them back the clear the house. read more

WOW WOW WOW!!! Oh man.. I wish I had taken some before and after pics. Yesterday Josh came by to look at the my out of control persimmon tree and an equally out of control camelia. It became immediately clear how important the esthetics of the tree was to him as has been mentioned in the other reviews. We discussed which branches should be removed to improve the shape of the tree. He was also totally upfront about what the job would cost. Being a small-ish job, Josh figured that he would be able to fit me in but it wasn't sure exactly when. So today, I get a text from him letting me know that he might be able to squeeze me in. Great heads up. I told him that I would be available. A couple hours later, another text that he was on his way. Total communication. Their work is OUTSTANDING!!! My trees are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The job site was thoroughly cleaned and left in excellent condition. Their logo says it all - Experienced Artistic Efficient!!! Totally worth every penny. I will be calling Josh for all of my tree maintenance needs. Thank you to Josh and his crew. read more

Feeling super grateful for Eden Tree Service and the beautiful job they did today at my house. At a time when insurance companies are threatening homeowners if they don't have their trees cut back beyond the norm, Josh and his team helped not only me but also my neighbor, in such a skilled and thoughtful way. The trees look amazing, and all was done with great care and heart. Thank you so much! read more

Josh of Eden Tree Service is an artist and musician who knows about trees. He and Juan carefully took out a few trees and trimmed some back to fit aesthetically on our slope. They saved some dying vines and cleared off some other vines that were strangling a tree. We highly recommend Josh! read more

Josh and his crew keep our fruit trees trimmed and healthy and everything else gets a really tasteful shaping. Great people to work with!

I called on Josh (who was pruning my neighbor's trees) to give me an estimate on tending to 2 overgrown and ugly cypresses in my yard that looked very distressed. He weighed the pros and cons on trying to perk them up with pruning or cutting them altogether, and I decided to cut the 2 trees off -I felt his advice was honest and well informed. He came back the next week and did the job very cleanly, with good communication in-between. His price was also very reasonable. He does not remove stumps but he gave me a referral for a tree stump remover, who also turned out to be efficient and reasonably priced. I am very happy with the experience. read more

This guy was referred to me by a neighbor who called him a "tree whisperer". He came by with his crew and was so conscientious and careful. He really loves trees and doesn't just want to chop them down,he wants them to be harmonious with the buildings and the other parts of nature. I am so happy to have found him and proud that I now have a tree guy I can call my own. read more

I've happily recommended Josh + Eden Tree Service to many neighbors. I describe him as a 'tree advocate' because he's looking out for our backyard tree's best interest while also listening to our needs around shade/branch spread, etc. read more

This was so great. He is gracious and patient and knows a lot about trees and bushes. He seems to love them and understand them. He understands how they grow and why. We had to cut back a wildly overgrown rose bush and he and his crew were just perfect. A great experience. read more

Josh is great! He knows and loves trees so you can trust him to do the right thing! We had him trim our huge Liquid Amber and his crew did a great job of opening up the space, while preserving our beautiful tree. They cleaned up quickly and efficiently, too! Joshua and crew did a great job for us. We had several larger Eucalyptus trees to trim, not a small job. Some trees hadn't been trimmed in years and some had broken limbs from recent strong winds. The team tackled the job with gusto, even worked through rainy weather to get done. They were courteous and took good care to watch out for our horses and chickens during their work. They cleaned up everything meticulously before they left and were done on time and at the agreed price. My husband and I would highly recommend this company for any size job. read more

Joshua's work is an asset to the community. He was timely, very knowledgable, and reasonably priced. He clearly loves the science of trees. read more

This is a bit of a strange review b/c we didn't end up using Josh. But I'm giving him 5 stars because he came over for an estimate and spent a lot of time with me explaining how to care for our trees--all of them--not just the ones he was going to work on. I really appreciate his generosity with both time and advice. He's really knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. We would've hired him but he's currently booked out for over two months and we needed the work done quickly. My friend who recommended him raves about this work. read more

I am really pleased with a pruning job that Joshua Eden did on my scraggly jacarandas. He was prompt, reasonable, and worked quickly. These were neglected trees and now they have a future that looks bright! I have been admiring them each day since they were rescued and happy that I connected with Eden Tree Service. read more
