Econo Screens was in my neighborhood providing another neighbor a quote. I asked if he would give me a quote to replace a slider screen with pet screen and perhaps a grill. He quoted $700 for one screen! Three years earlier I replaced all my screens for $650! If you're not interested in the job, just say so! My neighbor went with another mobile screening guy as well. Marcelo had re-screened the French Door screens many years ago, so I know that his work lasts a long time. I have had pet screens for a window and a door installed and they are great. My cats have tried climbing the screens and they held up. That is what ruined the original screen. The door took about three weeks to order and get installed and the window was done the same day since we had the frame. A couple weeks after the door was installed it was very windy and the door was blown right off the door frame. I called and asked if they could help. They came out the same day to re-install the door. The charge was $125. Great service! read more

We had them do appox 12 windows of our new house in Aug 2015 and for the Super Bowl weekend we were wanting to wash the windows and had to take a kitchen screen off and found it to be extremely difficult to remove be and place back. We then called the company this week to have them replace another damaged screen and because we live in port Hueneme and this was for one screen only they assessed a steep service fee which I felt was not necessary since we spent a large sum of money a few months back. Econo Screens rescreened a sliding screen door for me 8/2013. I was upsold the "Heavy Duty Mesh" and given a "2 YR Guarantee" which is clearly stated on my invoice. The screen failed last year. It took several phone calls to have Marcelo come out and repair the screen. The screen failed again and Marcelo refuses to stand by the guarantee saying they only come out once if the screen fails. That stipulation was never mentioned orally or in writing. Clearly Marcelo does not understand what a 2 YR Guarantee means to a consumer. Any business unwilling to stand by their guarantee is not worthy of your business, in my opinion. read more

Marcello Poulet, of EconoScreens was wonderful. I did not even know that a pet mesh screen was available. He also had samples of an invisible screen, and different colored standard screens. He re-screened a huge sliding door and a standard sliding door, along with several windows. He also cleaned and lubricated the tracks, straightened the very old frames, and added small handles to allow easier removal for future window cleaning. Plus, he guarantees the work. He did everything on site, and finished in a couple hours, including quote, work, and clean-up. They look absolutely fabulous and I am thrilled.
