We had 6 double paned windows and a shower door replaced. The milgard windows had leaky seals ( foggy) and were no longer under warranty as our mom who owned the house is deceased. Milgard only honors lifetime or any warranty of the person who purchases them. They did the work quickly so it could be nice for the new buyers. I had cleaned the windows professionally for the upcoming sale and this is how I noticed the window fog. I am so glad to have found Hannah and Ken with Legendary Glass. First of all, it was difficult to find anyone who was willing to do window repairs. Every other company we spoke to was only interested in window replacements. We know we'll do that eventually, and we know we'll go to Legendary Glass. I called and spoke to the owner, Ken, who made an appointment with us the following week. I suggest confirming details over text or email. I realized that I only confirmed their time of arrival for the quote over the phone. I ended up waiting longer than I anticipated for their arrival, but before I complained about it, I realized that we hadn't done this in any written form, so please learn from my mistake. The day of the quote, Ken and his wife, Hannah, arrived and they were very friendly and shared a lot of information regarding the care of my windows (this is all before I agreed to the quote, mind you). They listened to my concerns and answered my questions. The whole process of discussing and measuring took a few hours. It should be noted that we have some older and custom windows. Within a week, we received a quote which was lower than we expected. This rarely happens. We moved forward with the process and scheduled a day for the work. Ken and Ben showed up within the time window promised in the email/text. They told me to expect a full day of work, but they were done by lunch time. This is a long overdue review. I had started my project to replace my shower door with another company. Let's just say that they (AAG) were just horrible. They took my deposit and were very unresponsive. After at least 6 months of complete nonsense, I finally reached out to Hannah and Ken at Legendary Glass. Ken and his wife replaced a broken mirror in our bathroom. It was a very difficult, custom mirror created when our house was built, and several other local mirror repair companies didn't even want to quote it before we found Legendary. Ken (owner) gave us a fair quote, and came himself to complete the job. He and his wife were very professional & polite, but I was most impressed with his attention to detail. We he removed the broken mirror, he knew who installed it (20 years ago), because he recognized their handwriting on the back of the mirror! He was able to align everything perfectly as if it never broke. To top it off, I mentioned our glass shower door was not aligned & it was difficult to close. I wasn't sure if it could be fixed or would have to be replaced, however I was blown away with Ken's response. He said, "Oh the glass door? I saw it was misaligned, so I just fixed it". Sure enough, it now closes perfectly again! I don't know if he would have brought it up if I didn't; he's that kind of a perfectionist. He wasn't looking for credit or recognition, he just wants everything to be right. Not only did the mirrors turn out perfectly, but the whole process from start to finish was great.
