Saturday morning. Bay Alarm had already called me and the police because of an unauthorized entry into the building where I volunteer with a non-profit theatre company, handling administrative tasks. I rushed over. Looking at the back door, I saw the the lock was broken. A fairly old lock, maybe 60 years or more. I had only two hours until the first of two shows to be presented by a local theater company; almost 400 ticket holders on their way. The door had to open properly because it is an emergency exit, and it also had to fully close and lock. I looked at reviews on Yelp. I saw the reviews for Eco Locksmith, and gave them a call. Nathan, the owner, answered on the first ring. We talked about the door, the type of lock, and then he said he'd be there in 10-15 minutes. He arrived right on time. He had all of the needed equipment and supplies with him. He quickly assessed the situation, offered 3 reasonably-priced options, and got to work. He cleanly drilled the door to install the new lock I had chosen. The work was meticulous! He finished in time for "the show to go on"! A great price and service on a rush basis on a Saturday morning. Professional, personable, and prompt! He takes credit cards; and even did the work for less than his initial estimate. Nathan is really amazing! I am so very thankful. My garage doors stopped working and by mistake I left inside them the only remote that could control them. I was stressed because I needed my car for something important. It looked like an impossible task to open them from the outside when there was nothing on the outside to start from. Nathan responded to my call right away and came right away. He is incredibly handy and managed to use his tools to unlock the door's engine which was deep inside the garage through a crevice. This is the second time this happens to me and every time he came and solved the issue very fast. He is also changing the mechanical lock for the door so I have a backup and I don't run into this problem any more. I am very thankful! Prompt, quality service.
