Typically I like this store along with the unique items they carry. I've been a loyal customer for several years as I am a mother of 4. In fact I was just in there the other day and bought a toddler Tula and my sister inlaw bought a beco toddler carrier the day prior to that. That being said, I likely will not return as a customer again due to a bad experience today via telephone with the owner Chrissy. I called last month and spoke to one of her employees who was very helpful. I was looking for grace and lace short extenders. I know they happen to carry these there. The lady informed me that they didn't have my size in stock but would be getting more later in the month. So today I called to check and Chrissy answered. I asked her what sizes she had in stock on the short extenders. While she was checking sizes I said I was looking for a size xs or small. She replied with an odd shriek, which I took as almost annoyed. Then she followed with, no they do not carry that size and will not carry it because it is not in "their demographic." Hmmmmmm I replied ok and she again explained that it's not in their demographic to carry that size. I could email her to special order. I felt like it was very rude how she put it and her tone that she used with me. I actually felt as if I was being body shamed because I asked if she had a small or xs. That was my first experience ever, to have another women make it sound like I was so thin or off her sizing chart that the demographic didn't cater to me. I feel like an appropriate response would have simply been, no I'm sorry we don't have that size in stock but I can order it. Not it isn't in our demographic to have that size. I know plenty of mothers who shop at Eco chic who would very likely wear a size small or xs. It isn't a size that is so unheard off. In fact my sister Inlaws all shopped there on occasion and after this incident we all feel like we will not go in again. They are all an xs or small. I feel like if I was plus size and I called looking for an XL, I'm almost certain the response would not be, it is not in our demographic to carry that size. It seems like that would be very discriminating to say to someone. So I do not feel like it was appropriate to say that to someone who needed a small or xs. Again it made me feel as if the owner was body shaming me for being thin, and I certainly don't want anyone else to feel that way no matter what size you are. Rather you're an xs or xl, a 0 or a 16. You should not be treated that way when asking about a size. To be made to feel like you do not fit Eco chic demographics. Last time I checked there are women of all sizes who shop there and should certainly be part of their demographics. I really hope the owner rethinks how she spoke today and perhaps it will be a lesson to treat customers with a little more respect when checking on a size. Rather it be a small or large. read more

Cute unique shop. The owner was very helpful and gave me some great info. I DM'd her on Instagram and she held a product for me and gave me the previous day's special as well. She also notified me when an out of stock item was back in so I could return and get it. Great gifts and great quality baby gear that you can't find at most other places in town. Kim was so helpful & delivered great customer service!! I was shopping around for a baby carrier & tried on several different brands. She was patient & knowledgeable & very friendly. She was assisting 3 other customers while we were there yet continued to check on us to see how we were doing. Once the other customers left, she helped us with finding the perfect carrier. I really dig this store. I went in today and found a few gifts for friends, as well as a sweet pair of Proof sunglasses. I appreciate that the store actually carried the sunglasses; sometimes when a brand refers you to a local shop to see the goods in person, the goods ain't there. Not so with Eco Chic. There was such a wide variety of goods, from gifts that give back in one way or another to baby needs (cloth diapers, teething jewelry, woombies), and also a small health food/supplement area. I didn't feel pressured or "followed" the way you sometimes do in small stores or boutiques. I will be coming back to do more shopping, definitely. read more

I can't rave enough about Eco Chic. Every single person there is extremely knowledgable on the products and willing to help. I bought a Do Terra diffuser there a couple months ago and it recently stopped working. I was thinking Eco Chic wouldn't be able to do anything about it because it's been a couple months and it is not their fault. However, the staff made it a priority to help out and get the diffuser back to the company and replace mine. You guys are the best thank you so much. Absolutely awesome store! Very helpful and knowledgeable! I went in to purchase a ring sling and she took the time to show me everything and allowed me to try them on and showed me how to use it. This is a great little shop. All of the staff members are pleasant and helpful -- and I love that whenever I walk in, I hear Christian music playing. The girls who work there are really down to earth, accepting and accommodating... which is really helpful since I'm always running in there with my 2 little minions and my arms full! I am a photographer and I love their painted furniture. :) I have rented their items for photo sessions and have always been given a great deal. I absolutely love this place! Came here about a month ago with a million questions about cloth diapering and despite them being busy, Chrissy made sure every question I had was answered. We love the diapers we bought from her. The store is warm and friendly and I love their product selection. Chrissy also informed me that there is a mothers room in the back that can be used for nursing if you are in the area and want to use it! Absolutely LOVE her and the store!! Stopped by EcoChic last night and a WONDERFUL lady named Stacy was working! She was super cool! Answered all my questions, and never got annoyed that we stayed for so long (my 2 year old son wanted to hang out and enjoy their train set for an extensive amount of time, lol) It was a great experience. I had originally went there a couple years ago for some specific baby items (which I found btw) and always check in occasionally for stuff that's hard to find locally. Great local shop!! I wish there was another store is the area of this type. I will never shop there again. I came across an advertisement Chrissy (the store owner) put on Instagram and facebook about some clearance items she had. Specifically I spoke with her about a stroller I wanted to purchase one Saturday night. She told me yes it was till available and the store would be open Sunday at 12 I went to the store arriving at 1145 to find the doors open and a few customers inside. I walked in and found the stroller on the sales floor. I told the sales person I wanted to purchase it. I was then told well there is a guy who came in and then left cause he wanted to eat his lunch but he wants it. Huh? He had not paid for the stroller and he left the store to go eat lunch. I was there payment in hand ready to buy. I was refused. I then emailed Chrissy about my experience. She replied back with well he wasn't that far away. He came back and did pay eventually. The people were waiting outside the store so we opened early. She also referred to the man who purchase the stroller by name as if she knew him. To me it seemed very shady all together. I won't go back. It didn't bother me that someone else got the stroller but it was opening the store early just cause and letting someone claim it and leave with out paying while the item sat on the sales floor. I had to return something and did not have the receipt which they request for a return, I remember them telling me when I bought the item the receipt would be sent to me online but I never got it. So, when I went in to return the item, they also said it needed to be within 14 days. And, it had been longer than that. I asked if someone could call me. I was getting irritated and thought this was turning into bad customer service. But, the next day I was pleasantly surprised when Kim called and said she would take care of it for me. I went down and she was so nice and returned the item. It is nice to see a small local business with good customer service. I will shop here again. :) read more

Take a moment from your local busy-ness and support an excellent local business!- ECO CHIC is the REAL DEAL! Please don't misunderstand me, you are not going to find gold nuggets for 57 cents here. The Dollar Store it is not. What it is - a store built on principles as much as stucco and drywall. A store with ownership that genuinely cares about the community they are a part of. Chrissy is knowledgeable and passionate about her products, ALL of her products lol. I went in for a humidifier for my wife and daughter who are both home sick with colds/ sinus infections. Chrissy took time to explain to me why she carries the humidifiers she does and how they are more beneficial than the generic brands in big box stores. She gave me a crash course(I was on my lunch break) in the different oils and items I could use to make my family feel better and heal quickly. The entire shopping experience was excellent from the beginning to the end. She had other customers come in and she politely greeted each one. I was very impressed with the store and I am more pleased to see someone willingly following the Spirit in which she is led. (My wife loves her "Spirit Led" sweatshirt.) read more

My short experience with the owner she seemed not very personable but one of the girls she hired was by my side helping me the entire time she showed me how to put on the baby wrap and let me try it out. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Eco Chic in Vacaville. I had visited their other location a couple of years ago while visiting my sister in law and I loved it. Recently I was on the hunt for a Cuppow and I just knew that Eco Chic would carry them (yes I know you can order them online but why do that when you can support local business). I took the kids on a trip and I have to give the store 5 stars, the owner Chrissy was their and despite the other reviews you may see on here she was a complete doll to me (we don't know each other she isn't paying me to say this LOL) we talked about Deodorant (everyone's favorite topic right) and I've been on a serious hunt for something that will actually work, we talked about how we've both made our own and nothing seemed to be working so she recommended a deodorant that she sells made by a local gal (pure pursuit) and I've been using it for 5 days now and all I can say is THANK YOU Chrissy for the recommendation because it actually works!! Along with amazing beauty products she carries a wide variety for children, babies and moms alike. Next time i'm going to have to try some of the Paleo goodies sold in her refrigeration section! Oh and not to mention that the shopping area where the store is located is perfect for mommies since their is a cute train and carousel to ride (my kids just begged me so how could I say no). Everything from I love everything in this store but just find it very pricey. I don't think I've ever bought anything, but it's fun to browse. Essential oils, cloth diapers, vitamins, books on healthy living, baby carriers, chalk paint, clothes, you name it. Though I'm especially glad that they've started carrying 100%pure beauty products! read more

I love the store and the employees are very nice and helpful. The hours are extremely hit and miss and not consistent. I've come to the store several times when their hours on here show to be open and nobody is home. It's frustrating at times but that's my only complaint! read more
