Love the high quality, rotational selection. Every time I come here, I find something. My last visit was about three weeks ago and not only were the owner and staff not wearing masks, but they were discouraging guests from wearing theirs. Something to keep in mind if you're not yet vaccinated or are sensitive to it. Also, the customer service is questionable. When a customer asked if they were a consignment shop, the owner responded in a short, condescending tone. The customer was complimenting the selection, but still, the owner kept reiterating that it's not a consignment shop and she would know because she's owned one previously. The conversation was tense and environment uncomfortable. We all have off days, but unfortunately, this isn't the first or second time I've encountered the poor customer service here. Whenever someone in my family is ill I turn to Chrissy before we turn to traditional medicine. I drive from SF to pick up many different items at Eco Chic. The supplements they carry are clean and reliable. I usually get my CBD oil which helps with anxiety, inflammation and a myriad of other ailments. The CBD she carries is clean as well. I recently picked a magnesium CBD cream and I apply to my knees after a long day of standing and experience immediate relief. I wish I was lucky enough to live close to Eco Chic, but alas, I'm a few states away. I found out about them on Instagram, and I'm so thankful you can order online! You can call or message them if you need help picking out items, and their shipping is incredibly fast. I recently ordered from a similar store, and was so disappointed with how long it too to ship my order out (you could say it's a drawback to buying small vs. Amazon). BUT when I ordered from Eco Chic my order was shipped within 2 hours of placing the order, no joke! Don't bother shopping here if you use formula, unless you want to be totally mom shamed. I rarely leave bad reviews for small/women owned businesses but I am so completely traumatized by my experience here that I need to share it. People have many reasons for deciding what to feed their infant! after consulting 2 lactation consultants, a Pediatrician, and an osteopath unfortunately we have had to transition my 3 month old to formula. She has developed eczema which has left me feeling like a failure as a mother, (thanks PPD). I went in to pick up some probiotics to help and the owner literally shamed me for using formula. She immediately started bashing formula and how terrible it is. She proceeded to recommend I make homemade formula, use milk donations, chiropractic care, essential oils (all Of which would be wonderful if I had unlimited time and resources). And I f I don't do all these things my child will have leaky gut. I should get my milk back and go on a FODMAP diet. I had no idea I was there for an entire medical appointment. SHE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO MAKE THESE RECOMMENDATIONS. I have never felt so mom shamed in my entire life. I literally started BAWLING in the store as she listed the 100000 things I should be doing that I am not (including reading her book, I might add). I don't know what world she lives in but a lot of us moms are doing our best. Everyone deserves access to wellness, and she treated me as if it was all or nothing. Who runs a wellness business like this? Who runs a christian business like this? She didn't even offer me a tissue (she probably doesn't believe in them). Poor customer service! They are condescending and alienate their customers if they are not 100% on board with their natural lifestyle. If you ask questions about products you get a lecture before you get an answer. I was in there once when someone was speaking to the owner about medical insurance for her staff and she yelled at the insurance person about how the medical field is killing people and babies shouldn't be born in a hospital. It got so uncomfortable myself and others left the store and I don't think she even noticed. Who wants to shop in an environment like that? read more
