Great duct cleaning service from Eduardo. He was punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. I would happy use again.

I don't write reviews very often, but I really want to recommend Eco Attic Systems based on my recent experience with them. I have been slowly renovating a house over the last two years, and Eco Attic Systems provided exceptional service when I needed to have new insulation installed in my attic. Eduardo, the owner, is very knowledgeable about all the insulation options and we discussed the pros and cons of each one in detail, before making a decision. I chose rock wool, and Eduardo was able to get what I needed in a couple of days. Eduardo and his team were meticulous in their work. They paid close attention to all the little details, like identifying and sealing air gaps, finding and blocking any entry points for pests, even checking the crawl space under the house. They put up a plastic sheeting tunnel between my front door and the attic, and put down heavy-duty floor protection to keep my hardwood floors safe. Because they worked so cleanly, there was almost no cleanup afterwards. And they worked hard! I immediately noticed how much cooler my house stays on really hot days. I've hardly needed my air conditioning since the insulation went in. In fact, an electrician I asked to check some wiring in the attic looked around and said "Those guys did a great job". It's a real complement to Eduardo and his team that another professional recognized good work when he saw it. Finally, Eduardo and his installers were very easy to work with - professional, polite, friendly, and very focused on communicating with me as the customer. In my opinion, that's key to having a good experience. In short, I recommend Eco Attic Systems for their knowledge and experience, quality of their work, professionalism, communication, and overall approach to customer service. I think If you use them you won't be disappointed. read more

Buying a house comes with the realization that unexpected expenses come up. We found out part of our crawl space needed to be insulated. Eduardo and his team were my first choice for this work. His team is conscientious, hard-working and technically sound. I highly recommend if need work on ducts, or insulation to keep his number handy. He also helped us clean our dryer duct to the outside of the house, which reduces the risk of fire. Kudos to his team for excellent work. read more

First of all, we were in a real rush to get some insulation in our 4000 square foot attic. It had been really cold and we had no insulation. I reached out to Eduardo, the owner of Eco Attic Systems, who was VERY professional, prompt and courteous. He worked with my budget and attended to my specific needs. What I really appreciated was that he worked with my schedule, and booked the project on a day that worked for us all - which was a weekend day. I ended up going with blown-in insulation because of the limited access. Eduardo really worked hard to comparison shop high end, quality blown-in insulation that was eco-friendly and safe. Eduardo also took care to finish the project in less than the time allotted, and moreover, he took the time to call, inform me on the progress and close up himself - which included taking out all the trash, and keeping the place clean. To beat any other quote, he provided an additional level of insulation and a warranty to boot (R-38 instead of R-30). Unlike other companies that would leave trash or not live up to the quote, Eduardo took care to ensure that I got pictures of the final project. I feel not only respected but treated professionally. I would work with Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems anytime again in the future. read more

We had some smoke damage and needed all of the attic insulation replaced. Our house is near 40 years old, so at the same time, we were looking for advice on how to make our house better insulated. We had 3 different estimates. While the other vendors really didn't offer any solutions beyond just replacing what was in place, Eduardo did a thorough inspection and offered a lot of ideas. On top of that, his bid was the best of the bunch. The work he and his crew did was all top notch. We ended up having our crawlspace encapsulated. All of the materials were clearly laid out, with the brand names provided so we could see online reviews of the products being used. The work was done quickly. The crew was very neat and everything was cleaned up at the completion of the job. I highly recommend this company and we will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. read more

Easy to schedule initial inspection and quote appointment with owner Eduardo, who was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. On the day of the installation, his team performed the clean up and installation efficiently and on-time. Highly recommended. read more

I recently had my attic cleaned and insulated with Knauf Ecobatt. Eduardo, Fernando and crew were excellent. They arrived on time, setup the containment plastic from the front door all the way into the attic, so no debris or dust got into the house. As they were cleaning, they noticed certain things that needed fixing, which they fixed at no extra charge. There was an issue finding the Ecobatt from their supplier, so Eduardo looked around and was able to get some from another insulation installer. The entire attic was cleaned and insulated in one day. read more

We had a strange noise from our duct system, no one could solve it as they were unable to diagnose the problem. Eduardo dropped in and grasped the issue right away, he was super confident in fixing it. He came the next day and did an excellent job in cutting the dry wall and fixing the duct. Really happy with his work, highly recommend!! read more

Eduardo and his team Darrel, Francisco helped us cleaned and installed attic insulation. They also helped us cleaned duct vent and dryer vent. Eduardo and his team are very responsive, efficient and hard working people. First Darrel came to my house did the initial estimation and he is very knowledgeable and patient. Eduardo as the business owner, he is also very knowledgeable and very responsive to our questions and sent different pictures keeping us updated. His crew Francisco, Pollio are experienced and hard working very nice people. They also installed solar fan and some other minor issues when they notice the issue. I would recommend the whole team without any hesitation. read more

Eduardo was able to come out quickly to help clear a blocker dryer duct. He arrived with his helper on time, calling ahead to be sure we were home. He advised us on how to avoid similar lint blocks in the future and was generous with his knowledge so that we can avoid trouble with our dryer in the future. With 3 growing teens I can't go without a functioning dryer! Eduardo and staff also cleaned up the lint mess and were in and out within 45 minutes. I will definitely call them again if we need additional vent help! A+++ read more

I received many estimates from other companies and Eduardo's was the most reasonable estimate. Other companies were going to charge me almost double the price using cheaper quality air ducts..Eduardo replaced all my rat infested ducts with higher rated/quality material for a great price. He and and crew also did a very detail job and will even come back if any issues come up. I highly recommend this company. read more

Great Service and extremely honest, they spent way more time than the bid price, and did not escalate the cost, so I saved $$$$ on a big clog. They also responded and came out on very short notice!!! I highly recommend Eco Attic Systems, they were everything you want in a contractor coming into your home. Thank you for great service!! read more

Great experience from start to finish. Ricardo was super quick to respond to my inquiry re dryer vent cleaning and provided a reasonable estimate immediately. He scheduled the job same day and arrived on time. After he took a look at the duct, he told me it was actually quite clean and reduced the price accordingly. Since a clogged vent wasn't to blame for my dryer issues, Ricardo offered to help me trouble shoot with the manufacturer and followed up with me afterwards to see if there was any further help he could offer. I'd definitely call him again for future vent/duct work. read more

Eduardo was very quick to respond when I called. He gave me a great estimate during that call, with a thorough explanation of cost breakdown and warranty. The job was to replace an old roof-mounted electric attic fan with a solar powered attic fan. We scheduled the job for that same weekend. His crew member (Finny, I think was his name) showed up on time, and got the job done very efficiently. Eduardo called later the same day after the job was done to check in and make sure everything went well. The fan is working great! Great company. I fully recommend them and I would call them again for future jobs. read more

Working with Eco Attic Systems was a real pleasure. Eduardo not only displayed competence, but also a willingness to explain what needed to be done, along with a strong desire to do a good job. He continually went above and beyond what was required. For example, he redid the molding around the attic opening in our ceiling, and then painted it. All spaces were sealed off during the work of removing old blown-in insulation and cleanup afterwards left the space immaculate. Five weeks later, we are amazed to report that our house stayed 5-8 degrees cooler during the last heat wave, and now that temps are dropping, we only lose 2-3 degrees at night, without the furnace turned on. We couldn't be happier with the work done by Eco Attic Systems, and can recommend them without reservation. read more

Eco Attic has been a great find. I've spent several week trying to find a reliable insulation contractor to fix and upgrade my attic insulation in a retail space. After removing old ceiling tiles we discovered that insulation had to be removed. Eco Attic came in and proposed several options for us to go about the problem. Our goal was to keep the ceiling open to increase the ceiling height and guys from Eco Attic suggested and tried several options before settling on FSK-25 which has a reflective backing, which is exactly what we needed for our retail concept. Thumbs up and strongly recommend! read more

I wanted to wait until we had some serious heat to write this review. If anyone tries to tell you that insulation will not make a difference in the temperature in your home they did not use Eco Attic Systems! I have been miserable for YEARS in my home. On a 70 degree day my house could easily get up to 85+ degrees. Ever since they came to install insulation I have never had one miserable day. Not even during the latest heat wave. I can't even tell you what this has done for my quality of life. Plus, everyone was so kind, so professional. When I told them I could not afford insulation, they went out of their way to come up with a plan that would work for my budget just because they wanted me to have some relief in my house. The guys who installed it were professional, clean and fast. It has made such a HUGE difference in my home. I only wish I had done this years ago. This company is fantastic. Thank you Darell and Eduardo and Karen and the whole team. read more

My husband and I had a few estimates for new insulation in the attic. We chose Ecoatticsystems for the job and was very impressed with the owner Eduardo's honesty and professionalism. Let me start by saying, I could not be happier with attic job. The screen vents had broken and birds had nested in our attic space. Apparently it drew rodents who tore up some of the ducting. Our closet started to stink. I originally called another company who quoted an outrageous price. My son in law, who is an HVAC technician in another area, warned me against companies who send out sales people to up sell and charge more than is reasonable. Eduardo was honest and really great to work with. He quoted a great price and replaced all the ducting with his job, unlike the original quote charging about $350 per duct. Eduardo's crew came on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Eduardo came to check on the job to make sure all was going smoothly and as planned. We decided to go with Eco Attic Systems since their crew is very experienced in all the areas we needed work done including removing old insulation, sanitizing and rodent proofing, sealing air leaks in the attic floor, replacing the flexible air duct system and installing new insulation. We discovered rat droppings in the attic and so wanted to take care of this issue along with doing some energy upgrades, especially after speaking with an expert in the Energy Upgrade California (EUC) program. We were impressed with the manager, Eduardo, who was refreshingly candid, very knowledgeable about the materials, products and techniques used during upgrades and who gained his experience working for companies like All Things Good and as a foreman for Eco Performance Builders, two of the most highly regarded, but more expensive, home retrofit companies in California. The other reason for choosing this company is their expertise in energy efficiency testing including air duct testing, blower door testing and infrared thermal testing, all services we wanted available in case we needed them. The crew was very respectful and considerate, installing a cloth walkway up to the second floor to protect the carpet and a plastic sheet barrier to confine dust and loose insulation. They took photos of the work they did and even allowed me to inspect their work at various times. The crew removed the soiled insulation, disinfected the attic and neutralized rat scents, sealed all potential points of entry, and then later, air sealed the attic, replaced the ductwork and installed the new insulation. Our home heats up much faster and retains its temperature much longer even though we turn off our heating at night. On days like today, the weather report pegged the lowest outside temperature at 32 degrees which usually means waking up to an uncomfortably cold house and yet the thermostat at 7:00am this morning indicated a mild 58 degrees. Eduardo pointed out that the reason for the improvement in heating is not just the new insulation but the new insulation in combination with air sealing. Even the EUC program advisor said that installing new insulation without air sealing would be like driving a car on a cold winter day with the heater on and several windows partially open. Our home is also noticeably quieter due to the sound dampening quality of cellulose insulation. While getting estimates from other highly rated companies, I ran into several that don't provide air leak sealing, use duct tape instead of mastic to seal duct joints, don't install baffles to prevent new insulation from blocking attic air vents, don't have the capability to test ducts for air leakage and likely don't seal and insulate attic access doors, and so consequently, are able to offer low estimates. Eco Attic Systems is not one of them largely due to Eduardo's emphasis on quality, energy efficiency and attention to detail, however, this approach takes more time and effort and requires testing equipment and training and so will be reflected in the estimate. I'd say customers that are the best fit for this company are those who have done their homework, want the work done properly, don't want to pay top dollar and yet are willing to pay a fair price for high quality work. There were some minor issues like a return grill that needed to be re-caulked and my wife thought the work area could have been a little cleaner though she is a stickler for such things. That being said, I thought Eduardo and his crew did an excellent job for us and would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to family and friends. read more

I needed to do some crawlspace insulation work and checked out several contractors. Eduardo was the only one to proactively communicate to me an important issue in part of the house that would require a different solution from than the rest of the crawlspace. Additionally, he worked with me to review multiple options until we arrived at a solution. When COVID-19 hit, Eduardo was extremely understanding about postponing the work. Fast forward a few months, Eduardo honored our original agreement and when it came time to do the work, his team did a fantastic job. While one mistake occured (we're all humans), Eduardo demonstrated accountability and went above and beyond to fix the problem. So much so that at the end of the day, I was asking him to take more money for the extra work he did and he refused. I've never met a more honest and hard working contractor. read more

Job : Heating air duct cleaning. Great service and very transparent and reasonable pricing. Ricardo was very prompt in providing a response message on the quote, setting up an appointment and giving a heads up before showing up for the appointment. Once finished he wrapped up clean and provided an extra service of the cleaning the dryer lint dust. Also gave an honest feedback on what needs to be changed and recommendations. It's hard where to know to begin to write a review of Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems. Everything about our experience with was perfect. He and his crew took a rodent infested crawl space and ductwork and created a neat and clean storage space under our house and clear air inside our house. The best part about Eduardo is that no matter what you throw at him, he has a solution. It's never "no" or "that will cost you" it's always "no problem" and/or "we'll take care of it". He has an incredible entrepreneurial can-do spirit. We considered many companies for this project. Some never even showed up on time for a quote. Eduardo owns the company and obviously takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work. If it's not right, he'll fix it. The amount of time and personal attention he has given to me, my family, and our house is truly exemplary. I cannot recommend Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems highly enough. read more

Eduardo from Eco Attic Systems was wonderful to work with. From the very beginning he was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. You can tell when you are working with a quality company when the owner himself comes to your home and gives you a free quote and lots of tips and information with no pressure to choose him to do the job. I had a lot of follow up questions even after his initial visit and he was very patient answering each question via text throughout multiple days and he was respectful when I said I needed a few days to think about it. I'm so happy I went with Eco Attic Systems! Eduardo gave me a clear and detailed quote which was a fair price and was flexible to work with my schedule. My attic took 2 days to complete and those two days Eduardo and his team continued to exceed my expectations. They wore face masks the entire time they were in my home. Making me feel comfortable about COVID-19 precautions and they were very careful to respect my home and clean up any mess that is naturally made by doing insulation work. I just relaxed and caught up on my favorite TV shows for two days while they did all the hard work and now I'm enjoying an insulated home! A few days after the insulation was complete it was 87 degrees outside and normally it would feel at least 10 degrees hotter inside the house and be so sweaty. I was actually wearing sweats and didn't even notice it was a hot day. My house stayed a nice cool temperature. Investing in insulation was so worth it and I enjoy the benefits every day.
