I had a fridge in the basement where I kept my work items and all of a sudden it broke down because the mouse chewed the cables and broke the compressor so I had to buy a new fridge. But my basement had old fashion grids so mouse/rat can easy get in and out so I had to deal with it urgently. Brandon came at a short notice and gave me a quote and said he can come and start the work in 2 days. The other companies I got the quote could only come after 5 days, some of them after 1 week. He also pointed out that my attic insulation is old and thin. And since he has to clean the attic (there were some mouse activities there too) he suggested it's not a lot of extra cost to put the whole new insulation. (I have been feeling cold in the house due to the old insulation so was happy to replace with a new one taking this opportunity). The crew (2-3 people) came for 2 days and fixed all the holes with the mesh in the basement, crawlspace and the attic. Cleaned the droppings, vacuumed the whole place, sanitized and set the traps. They even cleaned the duct in the house. It was a lot of money but with the amount of work they did, I was very happy. I bought the house 1.5 years ago and I wanted these things done anyway (duct cleaning, new insulation) so the mouse control was a good reason to tackle all of them. I can't say enough good things about Brandon's team! From start to finish, they were professional, thorough, and easy to work with. We had been hearing scratching in the attic and walls, and the smell in the house had gotten really bad. They came in, did a full inspection, and explained exactly what needed to be done. Excellent business. Brandon & his helper came out to our home in Santa Rosa, CA. Even though we used a previous rat control outfit, Got Rats, I kept smelling rat pee in the washer & dryer area. GotRats never found this rat, which was dead. We called Brandon to clean out the ducts as we did not know what was going on...or if we had rats again. A Sunday request for help from Yelp companies and Brandon was quick and responsive. His team came out the very next day, found the problem and also did preventative work to block access points into the crawlspace under the house. Despite that area being not the most pleasant to be in, they worked extremely hard and were super efficient, friendly and communicated well. We initially asked them to just source and remove the cause of the odor. They did that quickly but it also became clear that we should also proactively block access points to that area as well. Brandon was not on site, but he spoke with his team, then called me to explain the situation and options to me. Super easy from start to finish and they'll be coming back in a couple of weeks for a follow-up check too. I found mouse droppings under my kitchen sink last week but didn't see any critters. Plugged a hole near the drain & hoped that would solve it. Then on Saturday night I saw a mouse run across my kitchen floor and immediately hopped on Yelp to find someone. Amazingly, Brandon responded 15 minutes later & was able to come Sunday morning. He inspected the crawl space under my home and found evidence of an ongoing infestation & destroyed installation. Eek! He set a few traps & thankfully his crew was able to come out 2 days later to complete the job. Everyone was respectful, clear, and efficient. They cleaned & sanitized, replaced the damaged insulation & heating duct the mice chewed through, and plugged all the exterior & interior holes. So relieved and amazed by the quality work. They left everything in better condition than when they arrived. The work is guaranteed for two years. One caveat, as of 11/19/24 they only accept payment by check or zelle which I didn't know & forgot to ask about up front. This caused an awkward & embarrassing situation when I tried to pay by credit card since I don't like to keep large amounts of cash in checking & prefer to pay by credit card for the rewards points. I was very impressed with the team who arrived to address my mice issue. It was unique in that my mice used my home as "motel 6". As such, bait and food traps did not work. These mice saw our house as place to stay warm and spend the night. I was once a licensed pest control agent after finishing my tour in the air force and before starting college.
