    The chicken noodle soup

We got here at 8:50, we were ignored until 9:14 and it wasn't even busy. After we were sat, our server, the only person in the store doing ANYTHING, took 15 more mins to even get us drinks, but it's ok because again, he was the ONLY one doing anything. The food we got was the worse thing I've ever had to eat. The chicken noodle soup tasted like noodle water when with crackers salt and pepper in it, and again since my server is the only person doing anything we haven't seen him in the past40 mins. Currently 10:10.

As you might already know, Eat 'n Park is a casual chain restaurant that is headquartered in Pittsburgh and has dozens of locations across a few states. The menu consists of breakfast items (e.g., omelettes, wraps, and pancakes), appetizers (e.g., fried pickles, pretzel sticks, salads, and soups), entrees (e.g., burgers, turkey club, grilled cheese sandwich, baked cod, chicken tenders, and alfredo), desserts (e.g., smiley cookies and pies), etcetera. Prices are reasonable. I have eaten at this location many times over the years. During my most recent visit, this restaurant was understaffed with employees (if you want a restaurant job, then I encourage you to apply to this business!), so my husband and I waited 10 minutes to be seated at a table. The seating hostess and waitress spoke *very nicely* to us, and they promptly took our order and brought out our beverages and foods. Here are my reviews for our foods: Mile-high meatloaf - 3.5 stars - This meatloaf tasted decent, and it came with toasted bread, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. For my side, I chose broccoli, which was cooked well. Black angus superburger deal - 5 stars - This burger was a large size and was topped with cheese, lettuce, pickles, and sauce. My husband said that this burger tasted very good, and I agree based on my one bite. On the side were French fries and a milkshake, which also tasted very good.

One always knows what to expect at an EatnPark...decent food, inexpensive, friendly service. Today's stop was all that. My breakfast was made right, my friend enjoyed his burger and fries. It's nice to point at a menu picture saying "I'll take that"...and then getting it. Nothing fancy, nothing exceptional, but just as I wanted and expected.

Stopped in with a friend before heading downtown to see a show. We mentioned to the waitress that we were in a rush, and she made sure everything happened in a timely fashion. Food was good, as always. And as a PSA: If you've never tried grilled stickies a la mode, do. You won't be sorry.

Wife and I had dinner her the other night. I had the cod with mashed potatoes and gravy and they have a huge salad bar. The cod was delicious and the salad/soup/fruit bar was really great. I could of come for just the salad bar and would of been completely happy. The service was great and it was fast and friendly. The place is pretty big and was very clean. If in the area I do recommend Eat'n Park as the food and service are both really good.

Watch out for Karen if you're African American because you'll get bad service. She made sure that her non black customers had drinks, napkins and if they needed anything else but us. The food was good and manager was nice but miserable Karen made a nice lunch a bad experience. Maybe she should work in a place where brown people don't go.

This Eat'n Park location is always busy..busy enough to have another Eat'n Park location across the street that is equally busy. I dunno..North Hills folk just really love themselves some Eat'n Park. I've always enjoyed this location..it's big and spaced out in a way that even if it's crowded it doesn't feel like you're being boxed in. This is another great all night dining option Pittsburghers have as well..they really don't know how lucky they are. The things here that stand out the most to me are their coffee and their chicken noodle soup. I'm not a big coffee drinker..just don't really have a taste for it.. it the coffee is is and exception because it is delicious. The chicken noodle soup is all chicken and noodles..the noodles are thick and delicious and the chicken is very tender. Again not a huge soup fan but that stuff is good. Don't forget to grab a box of smiley face cookies on your way out..they're a Pittsburgh staple and they are delicious!

Caramel Macchiato Latte, is definitely full of sugar, but is so delicious for a treat. A bonus on top is that it comes with a free refill!

James took care of our table today, and he was incredibly hospitable and helpful, especially since we came with two toddlers and two babies. He even brought the kids water in cups with lids and straws, which was very thoughtful of him. The kids all ordered the Roadside Sliders, and the adults had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. My friend was concerned that the beef patty was still a little too pink for her 2-year-old daughter, so she asked if it could be cooked a bit more, even though they had already eaten more than half of it. James happily accommodated the request, and the manager generously brought out two brand-new sliders on a fresh plate. That level of service was above and beyond. The atmosphere is wonderful as well. There are plenty of outdoor tables, and we didn't have to wait for outdoor seating on a weekday afternoon. Around 1 p.m., the wait for indoor seating was about 10-15 minutes. I also came here on a whim and realized I hadn't brought my credit card, but thankfully they accepted Apple Pay. I really appreciated that flexibility. James also split our bill for us and made the Apple Pay transaction easy. I'm so grateful for his patience and outstanding service. I would absolutely love to come back again!

It took them over a year to renovate it and they still aren't done in the back and the parking lot is a little rutted but the inside is very nicely done. There is a huge bar and some high and low tables scattered throughout. The clientele is mostly locals and lot of laborers grabbing a drink and a bite to eat after working hard all day which was great to see. It's super casual and very open inside. We had a few beers and the bartender was good. She was attentive and was waiting on 20 folks at the bar as well as table drinks. The manager was able to help serve some food to help her out but never once asked us how everything was. That was a little bit of a missed opportunity in my opinion for a new business. We ordered a breakfast burger that came with some hashbrowns on the side. I assumed, which is my fault totally, that the burger would come with lettuce, tomato, etc. but it truly was JUST a burger, egg, and cheese and absolutely no other toppings. That was disappointing and I really wish the bartender would have asked if I wanted anything on it. I ended up using ketchup for moisture since she was so busy and I was hungry. :) The hashbrowns were frozen and fried so they were nothing special. I think this place has tremendous potential. We'll be back to try something else. It seems busy so that's a good sign.

Had the Isleys chipped ham sandwich which they serve warm with melted cheddar, grilled onions on a bun. However, they were gracious enough to make it for me cold, with Mayonnaise and a slice of cheese. This is unlike another place down the road (RI) from them that wouldn't adjust items on a sandwich for me last week. The waiter/bartender was super chill too, easy to talk to and basically good at his job. Our refills came quickly and without asking. He followed up to see what we wanted a couple times and the food arrived in a reasonable time (not much waiting at all). This was so very different from that same day where at our usually spot (another old bar/restaurant further down the road, "SJ") we had to walk out just after ordering lunch due to getting attitude from a mouthy waitress. Glad we decided to try this new spot! Great job! I think we found our new local "go to" bar/restaurant. Looking forward to it and to soon trying breakfast there on weekends too. A must try f you haven't been there yet.

The whole restaurant has a breathtaking view of the man-made lake at North Park. Be sure to sit outside so you can take in as much of the view as possible. The atmosphere is abuzz with activity: there are runners taking on the 5-mile loop around the lake, there are kayakers and stand-up paddle boarders setting off to explore the far reaches of the lake, and there are birds and turtles and fish livin' their best life. My family and I have found our favorites on the menu: the Bike Lane BLT and the Chimichurri Chicken Bowl. Both are really good, but we tend to lean toward the BLT. It's just so unique! The kids' meals also come with a cute little surprise: the plate is a frisbee that they get to take home. How cool is that?
