Almost a year since my last review and this place still continues to be a go-to spot in the ever-evolving Linc complex. In recent months they've revamped their menu (especially the adult bevs), improved the offering process and added indoor / outdoor TVS which were a nice touch during the World Cup. The staff and food are still solid. Overall the vibes are still great here. The only thing I wish they'd change is the availability for upstairs. Seems like it's always closed.
I liked the chicken salad sandwich a lot. I was not a fan of the bread. The waiter forgot about my water. They let us order from them instead of the QR code.
We must have caught this place at an off time! We were looking for a place close to our hotel and the reviews were not bad. We arrived and they have a great patio, had live music and there were quite a few people there. We elected to go inside since we had been out all day and we ordered beers, some deserts, and I ordered an 'Ol Fashioned. Oddly enough, great chocolate and a fantastic 'Ol Fashioned go well together. However, the brownie was really dry - seemed to a a few days old, and the drink was just OK. They indicated it would be made with a mix so that probably my bad. My friend had a couple of beers and another dessert but his feedback was the same. I would have liked to stay longer and come back on another night to see if my first visit was an anomaly. I would think they normally have better drinks and food than we had on our first visit!
Easy Tiger is a German beer hall ft locally roasted coffee shop. The first thing you notice is their large signboards and huge parking lot. The ambiance does look upscale, so are their prices. They have a great outdoor space and beautifully decorate indoor space. They're trying a lot of things - coffee shop with a bakery, dining restaurant, beer hall with craft beers. It does definitely get filled up in the mornings. My order: Bavarian latte Sour cream Kolaches Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese Bavarian latte though seasonal was nice and flavorful. Kolaches which was a savory and the everything bagel was something I loved with the cream cheese. Must-try! The order came around $20.
Cooper is a wonderful bartender! He Suggests all drink specials and food items. I was excited to see the interesting new menu items but I miss the original ones a lot. Like the beer cheese and original mustard. Bacon. The basics. I guess I'll get my pretzel to go next time. The cheese is now a beer queso. No bueno. I think the sausages might be different too. I'd give the wings a try next time! They looked great. Lots of change with the new owners. New employees. They still have a great patio.
Easy Tiger delivered a fantastic dining experience! The chicken and dumpling soup was absolutely delicious--rich, robust flavors that packed a wonderful punch in every bite. Despite the restaurant being busy and serving a large number of guests, the service was phenomenal. The staff remained attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our visit. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with great vibes and a welcoming ambiance that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. I'll definitely be back for another bowl of that amazing soup!
Delicious. Honestly, I don't think you can do wrong with anything here. Loaves, pretzels, bagels, rolls, they will all have you in heaven. On this occasion I went for the everything bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, dill... I'm drooling over the memory. The bagel was chewy and buttery, the salmon was perfect, and the capers and dill added that little extra everything. The restaurant offers lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and staff is friendly.
Food was good but I got the wrong order (wings) and it still remained on my tab even though I didn't want them!!! I was under the impression we could keep the wings (since it was not what we ordered, and because the server said she'd take it off our check) so I told my friends to dig in, but when I saw the check was 43.30 we could tell my assumption was wrong. If the server had told us we couldn't eat them we would not have!!! Also, I did not appreciate the note I got on my original order of cheese curds. What is "NO MAKE!" supposed to mean?? Tl;dr food was good, service not so much, even though I recognize we were there thirty minutes before closing.
The service each time I've dined here has been solid. The breakfasts have been filling and the breads soft. Most recently I've been there for lunch and enjoying their sandwiches; my favorite is the turkey. The turkey is real meat (no deli pressed stuff here!), with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and fresh sourdough. The sandwich is large and doesn't come with a side, which works great for me, but it's worth noting if you expect something with your sandwich order. I like coming here for Too Good to Go pick ups too. They rescue bakery items at the end of the day thru the Too Good to Go program, which has given me a great opportunity to try many of the breads and bakery items.
We have been to this Easy Tiger on many occasions. Today we went after a game of pickleball for a late lunch. I ordered the fish and chips with a NA lager and my wife had the burger with a spritzer. The fish was good, but the chips were just regular French fries. No malt vinegar. My wife enjoyed her burger, but again the fries were not anything special considering she had to order them as an extra side. The service was fairly prompt, but the drinks took longer than expected considering the place was not busy. I like the clean wood decor and outdoor space, but there are way too many picnic tables. Some of us need chairs.
Easy Tiger is a great spot to grab a drink, snack or meal, and even a coffee. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. You order through the QR code they have on the table. They have great bratwursts and pretzels I highly recommend those for your order. I went on St. Patrick's Day and it was a much more laidback vibe and a little bit older crowd here. People in their upper 20s and 30s. read more

Came out for a drink and quick lunch today. I've only been out during this pandemic maybe about twice to eat out and the rest of the time it's been takeout. Coming out to easy tiger to eat out on the patio felt safe and they've adapted well to the covid world. Each table on the patio has a sign that says whether or not the table is in use or has been sanitized. Once customers leave there is someone who quickly comes in and sanitizes the table prior to the next customer coming in. Each table has a QR code for easy online ordering and contactless pay, if you want to order more items you can customize them through the toast app. Easy tiger made it easy to feel "safe" in these crazy times and as always the food was great! I ordered a prosciutto sandwich and we stumbled on happy hour so also included an old fashioned. Definitely will come back to visit maybe on a less "busy" day. read more
This was a decent spot to hang out with friends. The beer was really nice. The Hoppy. I enjoyed it. The menu was different from what I expected from the name of the spot. It wasn't that bad. I got the sausage tray for the table. I must say the pretzel is amazing. It was perfect addition to the various sausages. I grabbed an Italian sandwich. You can tell the sourdough was fresh and it made that sandwich so great. We sat outside and they had nice heaters at the tables. If it wasn't so windy the day we went, I can see it being very busy. read more

Great spot for large or small groups! You can make reservations for groups of 10 or more online, which makes it easy to organize a birthday/celebratory meal. It was $5 a person, you get that money back on a gift card that you can use on your visit. The past couple of times I've been, it is seat yourself and you order online using a QR code and no longer have a dedicated server. The service has been quick and the food is great. During January, they have some dry cocktails available. I really liked the dry old-fashioned and hope they keep it around longer. You can't go wrong with their giant pretzels. read more
Service was excellent here.The food was good too and very filling we even took home leftovers. This was our first time visiting this establishment we ordered their huge pretzel as an appetizer it was tasty and very filling too. The outdoor seating was nice and shady with misters to keep you cool overall our experience was nice. We will be back soon. read more

After church, we went here for a nice brunch. We got the French toast bites and the pretzel and the breakfast bowl (no picture unfortunately). I'm not usually a fan of French toast but this was great. They use their in house baguette to make it and it's the perfect amount of soggy and firm. You don't feel like you're eating baby food but also don't feel like you have to try too hard to eat it. The pretzel was also nice. I can't say it's the best pretzel I've had but it was certainly above average. MaKe sure to eat it with the dipping sauces otherwise it will be too dry by itself. The breakfast bowl we got was great. The potatoes were cooked well and crunch. The veggies were also soft but not over cooked. It was packed with flavor but not so much food that you feel gross after eating all of it. Happy hour specials are not that bad. Patio seating a plus. I would say this place is okay. I wasn't a big fan of my drinks. - lavender lemonade (vodka) - Paloma (tequila) They just didn't taste like I was expecting. I love Paloma's and this isn't a traditional Paloma so be warned. I do appreciate the staff locating agave for me. read more
I got the breakfast bowl with Cajun chicken sausage and a hot chai oatmilk latte (almond and oat milk are the only options). Flavors were very good, sourdough was yummy and soft! Chai was good, not as sweet as I usually like but still good. But the service was lacking. Perhaps busy with a lot of tables inside and out, but it took a while for me to get anything to drink then another while to get food then another while to get the check. Definitely not a quick lunch on a Sunday early afternoon, but worth trying I think. read more

I ordered to go and the girl at the register just gave me the vibe that she didn't want to be there and was kind of rude to my friend. I had sat down and ordered something else the woman who waited on us was sweet and patient which I definitely appreciated, the wait was a little long but overall it wasn't too bad for my first time. My latte and bagel were delicious though:) read more
Met some friends for lunch and picked this spot; plenty of parking available and right by the highway. Menu has beer, and a small food menu. They have their own bakery, so we opted for the items that contained something baked in house. Honestly this spot is more about the vibe and ambiance than the food but it's a fun brunch spot. read more
This place is such a hidden gem. I came because I was really craving a pretzel and Easy Tiger definitely delivered! The pretzel was so warm and soft on the inside and the outside was just salty enough. The mustard was a bit too salty for my liking, I would pass on it next time, but the pretzel didn't need any condiment, it was delicious on its own. Unfortunately they only have outdoor seating right now but they have heat lamps which make the cold bearable. The staff are super covid cautious, wiping down every table. I can't wait to come back and try more of their food and drinks, probably on a warmer day though. read more

WOW! I love this restaurant and location. Their outdoor patio is beautiful crafted and their COVID precautions are excellent. I naturally gravitated to their kale salad with apples, sweet potatoes, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, & parmesan vinaigrette (ADD +BACON, you'll thank me later). It was delicious and easily shareable between two people. (Pictured is half of the salad) Moving onto the breakfast sandwich, it was also amazing. I love easy tiger bread when you add anything else to it it automatically becomes delicious. The sweet potato fries were good but I miss their seasoned fries. The first time I got them they were seasoned very well but the second time they came bare. Not sure what's up with that. I also always get their sourdough bread at H‑E‑B or pick it up from this location for bread for the week. It makes amazing an amazing base for avocado toast! Next, latte was good. I forgot to ask them to put vanilla syrup in it but once they did it was really good. LASTLY, can we talk about this cinnamon knot?? Easy tiger knows how to whip up some damn good pastries. This puppy warm is the best ever. Pull apart amazing goodness. Order one, heat it up in the microwave, you won't regret it. read more
My job has our first happy hour here and it was a success!the outdoor patio area was beautiful and equipped with so many fans to keep us cool! We were a catered event so we had a tub of brussel sprouts & sausages, along with cookies, and charcuterie boards. The food was good but the best thing there was truly the bread! There were so many kinds I think I had about 3 different types of bread! The drinks were also good! I loved the Tiger water and Tigerita excellent tequila and mezcal drinks! The service was also great we had an excellent waitress Hailey who was attentive and checking in consistently! More seating or less benches would be ideal especially outdoors and for us larger bodies. Really only reason I can't give 5 stars otherwise great time! read more
I loved Easy Tiger in the past. There was a bike night here my husband invited me to. Thought ok... the other Easy Tiger locations were cool vibe, lets try it. Server greeted us quickly, provided menus, told us where water station was. Got our drink orders. He got a draft beer, I got the lavender lemonade. The lemonade was delicious! Very refreshing, light, and tasty- slightly boozed. The waitress came back repeatedly for our food order. Too many times. Like 4 in under 10 minutes. We weren't really there for food and at some point she should have picked up on that, but ok. We did decide to eat, since we would be getting home late for dinner. He ordered the Eastside burger. I tried to order the pastrami but they were out. Ordered the Prosciutto baguette instead. We added waffle fries to our orders. Sadly $4 extra per plate for FRIES. The sandwich and the burger are $12-$14 and that DOES NOT include anything. No fries, no salad, no sides. Sad. The food came out in a decent amount of time. Burger looked good. Husband said it was good. My baguette was awful. I wanted it to be good. But the bread was so hard it was difficult to get a bite off of, let alone chew. At one point the roughness of it ripped the top of my mouth open and I was bleeding. The worst part of that bloody mess was that our server and every server that passed us, didn't bring us napkins. I took the top off the bread and used soft part to mop up blood. I ate the inside of the sandwich instead. The waffle fries were overcooked and semi hard. Food just not at all good for me. Our server closed us out at the table. What myself as a service industry person, with POS experience did not like is she didn't tell me or show me the total or bill. She skipped right to the tip part. I left 22% but she probably would have gotten more. I will be reviewing the credit card charge now because I don't know what the original bill was. I don't dislike this location. Its cute. Great patio. Friendly staff. But staff needs training and the food is overpriced and not the best. We had a friends night out and this was the venue that our friends selected for us to get together at. Easy Tiger has been on my "places to try" list since I have lived in Austin and I have just never made it here. So when our friends picked this as our friends night out spot I was supper psyched! It did not disappoint!! We all chose to sit outside in the patio area. It is large, has heaters, and a big bar area out there as well. The tables are picnic style and you can easily sit 8 to 10 at a section... so plenty of room. The server came out and if I had anything to pick on about our night out it would be that our server had zero personality. She was prompt, she took our orders, got our food out,and everything, but the whole time she didn't say much at all... and when she did it was with zero personality that ended up almost bordering on rude. It wasn't horrible... or even bad... it was just very close to complete indifference. That however could not derail the experience that was to be! From the start my expectations were exceeded. The beer selection is awesome! Lots of on tap brews to choose from. (See pic of menu)Then there are the artisan cocktails... again great selection of mad chemist concoctions to discombobulate your motor functions and ensure maximum silliness. They also have a pretty fantastic whisky menu as well. So from the get go I was in alcohol bliss. We all ordered the pretzels and beer cheese. The pretzel is freshly made and comes out hot, with a crispy "crust", and a chewy center just like a good pretzel should. The beer cheese is ... ohhh MY Goddie, way Too Hottie!! I mean "Smack it, flip it, rub it down, oh, no..." slather it on and ask for more! It is just that good. Then I had the Italian beef... (see picture) beware the picture just might cause an uncontrollable urge to run right out and go get one of these! It is on a crunchy but yet soft on the inside ciabatta bread bun, it is loaded with spicy peppers, onions, mushrooms and then the beef...When those old commercial were yelling "where's the Beef!" Well I found it... what a complete taste bud tantalizing titillating treat of a meal! And the home made chips are just the launch code for heading to flavor nirvana... next stop... another beer please. What a fantastic meal! Easy tiger has a delightful outdoor beer garden at this location. My favorite items were unexpected - the baguette with ginger jam & butter had me coming back for more and more! We also really enjoyed the beer cheese with the pretzel, although we quickly ran out of the cheese. The brunch menu is pricey for what you get, but the atmosphere pays off. I was not impressed with the breakfast sandwich, so I suggest sticking to the sausages - we loved the hatch chili one. The coffee cocktail was Smokey, and we appreciated the extensive beer menu. Will definitely be coming back! read more
I've always been a fan of Easy Tigers bread! The price from a loaf is set pretty decently at $7.50 My absolute favorite is the cranberry walnut bread. So good!! I haven't really had the time to go and eat at the location but by the comments it's seems to be overpriced! I opted out to buying bread and making my own creations. I did love the vibes of the place so cozy, modern, and wonderfully sweet employees. The pastries looked sooo delicious but the chocolate chip cookie stood put the most! Awesome space -- quite big where it does not feel like you're literally sitting next to the person by you (a lot of coffee shops pack us in like sardines LOL which is just kinda uncomfortable cuz #ineedmyspace). Really cool staff -- the vibes I got from them were pretty friendly and their service was attentive. Coffee itself -- I got one of their signature drinks, the Honey Lavender Latte with Oatmilk and it was yummy (not life-changing, but I would definitely come back for it). Also, shoutout to my barista who attempted latte art since they usually have been serving it in to-go cups. Everything just tastes better in mugs, right?! Maybe it's just me. A solid 4 stars for me. Parking -- plentiful, so no need to worry about that. read more
Love the open space. Casual. Amazing bread..worth the carbs. Unusually crusty -- and a fair $7.50 for large loaf! I've been coming here (North, and used to go downtown) for years and always enjoy it. However, prices are creeping up a little more than you would expect -- $18 sandwich served on cardboard plates at picnic tables. $14 for a pretzel? Cool and casual has its price. Sandwiches are good, but not the overstuffed deli kind. For those on budget, choose wisely or check out their great happy hour 2-6. Still, $14 pretzel? read more

Let me tell you the journey of how my visit went from 5 stars to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 star in a matter of 5 minutes. Yes, 5 minutes. Three hundred seconds. Why, because I could not give a waiter a $7 tip on a $13 or $12.45 check. I have never been here before, but as soon as I walked in. I was in love. Polka music playing. Water misters rolling. Fun vibe. It was Octoberfest in Austin. AWESOME. I was homesick for Octoberfest in NYC. I found my place in Austin. Moving forward I will never mention the name of this place ever. That is how annoyed I am. Got to the outside bar by 4 pm or so. The bartender was super nice and knowledgeable. Ordered a couple of beers after sampling a taste. Ordered sausage. Heaven. Beers were good. Cajun chicken sausage my wife liked. My bratwurst, very tasty. Why 1 star you ask. The journey continues. The bartender told me that I could order more beer and food from all the servers hustling around. They were working hard. Why again you ask, one star. I went to buy some bread in the bakery. Yes, a bakery. Awesome. Bought two baguettes for $3.50 each. Left two dollars as a tip. I was feeling generous today. The staff was working hard. As I approached my table my wife ordered a couple of beers from a young man with a beard and glasses. Very nice guy. Asked him how much when he returned with our beers. Told me $13. I gave him a $20 and said thank you. The guy was very appreciative. Why again you ask, one star. The young lady who brought us a couple of napkins when I requested them stopped by. I wanted to give her some business and give her a tip. Ask for another couple of beers, a menu and ice. I never saw her again. Another server brought by the beers. Great teamwork. Why again you ask, one star. Like an idiot, I waited and waited until she returned. I wanted to give her a tip. Nowhere to be found. After a half-hour or so, this sucker said enough. Let's go. My wife flagged down a server. Asked for the original server and the check for the two beers. Tells me no problem. Tells me $25.43. I said for two beers. Then another amount from another table. Still not the right check. I did not want to leave without paying. Finally, I was given an amount of $12.45. Now, I am beginning to lose it. I informed the server that I had the same round as the second. I was charged $13 for the second and now $12.45. This 61-year-old man is not buying it. I just said OK. Gave her a $20 and thank you. Server said, don't you want your change. No. Just thank you. I will get a manager. No. Just thank you and goodnight. I go to the bar and pay my tab; $34 and change. Gave her $10 tip and a thank you. Now the manager gets involved with the check where I wanted to give the server a $7 tip. I get questioned. Don't you want your change? No. Just thank you. I just wanted to leave. Go home, but this manager with a beard and glasses continue questioning me why I did not want my change. Maybe, I am overreacting. I just wanted to pay my bill. Leave a tip. And leave. I spent $93 and did not care. Just don't charge me one price and then another. By the way, the server could not find the check. I have 35 years plus of hospitality experience with the last 15 as a GM. Management ask yourself how does a server get drinks without a dupe check at the bar? Lastly, if any of my managers ever were condescending to a guest; we would have some serious coach and counseling. Fare thee well whatever this place is called..... read more
I find myself here almost weekly. This is a great spot to work from and still enjoy good coffee and breakfast. The staff here is always so friendly and chill. Most recently I ordered the breakfast bowl with Cajun chicken sausage and it's my new favorite. Paired it with a cold brew and I was able to power through my work. read more

Absolutely love the Vital farms egg sandwich. The bread is baked to heavenly buttery perfection, cheesy egg on point and avocados are always fresh. Couldn't get any better than this. read more
This location was good. It was raining and packed inside so we were persuaded to sit outside. We needed up moving to a table where the rain mist wasn't hitting us and the heaters were on outside so it was comfortable but to be fair we were wearing out rain jackets and shoes. Otherwise it would have been a little chilly. We ordered pretty quickly and we sat at a huge table by ourselves which I liked. Our waiter was decent. At one point he took the menus and didn't check up on us and we had to get up and request extra syrup and then he came back to say his shift was ending and do we mind closing out. It's fine but it's the little things. Food was good. The amount of French toast was so much my 19 year old couldn't finish it, so the serving size was gigantic. The hash was delicious but could have used something to cut through the richness like a salsa or fresh fruit but it was delicious and I'd order again. I got a chai with oat milk which is my preferred choice and it was hot and yummy. Overall it was good. Service could have been slightly more attentive especially considering it was much less crowded due to the weather but not a biggie. We went to this location because the two closest to us were smaller but also didn't have as high of reviews but next time I might try a different location. read more

This location has plenty of outdoor covered seating. Perfect for times like these! It is the best place to get house made sourdough bread, either a loaf or served with toasts and sandwiches. Happy Hour deals are pretty sweet- I can't pass up soft baked pretzels and beer cheese! The sleeper dish for me was their gumbo! read more

Comfortable open German beer hall style spot. Came here on a Saturday night and had no issue getting a spacious spot for a large group. Also the fan most coverage was a huge for an outdoor bar in the Texas heat. They have a stellar beer selection, mostly local options but a wide variety of types to please almost any taste. Even at the outside tables there's wait staff who had no problem handling a large number of individual checks. I would say the food was above average when compared to typical bar grub, but I wouldn't recommend coming here looking for a meal. I shared the large pretzel with beer cheese with a friend, the cheese tasted like melted kraft Mac and cheese with a little pepper in it and the pretzel itself was nothing memorable. I also tried the Cajun chicken sausage, it had a nice peppery flavor on its own. The creole cream cheese sounded like an interesting addition, but it had more of a whipped cream flavor to it than I was expecting and overall didn't add much. I wasn't disappointed with the taste by any means, but for a 9$ sausage expect it to be either huge or have an absolutely phenomenal flavor. Overall, I think this is a great spot to come hang out with some friends and try some local beers, but I wouldn't recommend coming too hungry read more
We decided to try this place for a birthday brunch and weren't disappointed. There were 7 of us and we arrived around 11am on Sunday. The tables inside can fit maybe six comfortably and you can't push tables together, so we chose to sit at the longer tables outside. They have a really cool outside space with open seating, a bar, and some games. It was a great space for bigger groups or families. There was a dog meet up going on at the same time that took up half the space, but everyone fit comfortably. They have authentic German food selections and a wide variety of coffee, teas, and baked goods. Our table ordered the French toast bites, avocado toast, and the breakfast sandwich with bacon. The portions are a bit on the smaller side, especially if you're used to Texas sized portions, but the food was delicious. The small order of French toast bites had 5 pieces, while the large had 7. We all debated whether it was worth the extra cost to only get two extra small pieces. The service was also mediocre at best. A couple of our drinks came out wrong, but they corrected it. There were different waitresses stopping by and it took a long time for anything to be brought out. If they can fix their service, this place would be a really great place for an after work beer or a weekend get together. read more

By far one of the best places for craft beer and cocktails. The outside area is very nice, however the outside area seemed to be overrun by all of the children who's parents were there boozin for a birthday party. If there was any social etiquette by some of the adults they would understand that not everyone is there to be harassed by screamers and ball throwing. Besides that, which is not the restaurants fault, it was a great day to be outside and enjoy the great weather with friends and family. Great beer, drinks and food!!! read more

Are there any chairs with backs? It looks like it might be all backless barstools and benches.
