Izazaga Landscape - Belgard Large Catalina Grana in Sepia

Izazaga Landscape

(35 reviews)

I regard Izazaga as one of the premier landscaping companies in the Bay Area. Look no further for…read moreexcellent responsiveness, communication, work ethics and integrity which all describe Josè and his team of 3 permanent workmen. They went several extra miles accommodating requests we had too. We were beyond impressed! Our yard looks totally fresh, functional & fabulous now. They combined beauty, functionality & walk-safety - so important for visiting friends & family (and for me too)! What we needed: We had Josè & his team take out our half dead lawn areas, install sod, replace/restore our broken sprinkler system, install 2 new wide crushed granite paths & replace old with new edging timbers, prune a huge heavy Italian Stonepine properly so it didn't invade neighboring property, remove & replace 2 near dead trees with 8' Crepe Myrtles, move river rock and help us with some awkward heavy items. They are returning to help us renovate our flagstone paver Secret Garden area to restore & make it walk-safe for me and older friends (I suffered a serious leg injury recently). They have helped make our place far safer, a more beautiful, peaceful and desirable property that we love. He made many landscaping dreams come true for us! A & D Hartwell, Livermore CA

José is very talented in terms of recommending plants and coming up with the design. I now have a yard that is beautiful, easy to maintain, uses less water, and is safer in terms of fire risk.

Swanson's Landscaping

Swanson completed my backyard and front yard about 3 years ago. Even though my yards still look…read morebeautiful, I noticed a light wasn't working anymore and a tile needed to be reinstalled. I reached out to Geoff and as always, he was very responsive and offered to repair these items. Geoff and his team stand by their workmanship and products. They put a lot of emphasis on both, the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. It's becoming hard to find companies/business owners that care and take pride in their work. I will continue to recommend Swanson!

After waiting a year and a half I have decided it was time to review Swanson's Landscaping. I had…read moreSwanson's Landscaping build a pad for my swim spa and hot tub. They were recommended by my swim spa dealer, Turbo Spas in Dublin. The crew was easy to work with, professional and followed my instructions to the letter. I just want to give some feedback from what I have learned since because this will help others avoid the same mistake I made. After waiting 28 days for the concrete to cure I set my 12' swim spa and 8' hot tub on the pad. 6 months later my swim spa cracked on the bottom. I am not sure about this but I believe the spa cracked because of the control joints running underneath the spa because that is where the spa shell cracked. Lessons learned is never add control joints where a swim spa will be set. This was no fault of Swanson's, It was my fault for recommending control joint locations. All is well now because my swim spa was repaired and I have the spa floating on 3" of crushed rock and a spa pad. The spa pad and rock sit on top of 6" steel reinforced concrete.
