I had a great experience with Jose Izazaga and his team, and I highly recommend them. Izazaga Landscape did major work in our back yard, and completely reinstalled our front yard. We eliminated all our lawn areas, and replaced them with trees, flowers and shrubs that run off emitters, which reduces our water usage a lot. Izazaga Landscape also charged a very good price for their work. As many others have mentioned, Jose and his team are courteous, friendly, and they finish their work on or ahead of schedule. What most impressed me was their attention to detail. In my front yard, I needed a very durable flagstone pathway, since this path gets a ton of use from wheelbarrows, recycling bins, etc. Jose's team used extremely heavy duty metal siding for the pathway, sloped it perfectly from the gate to the front sidewalk, and ensured that the flagstone and crushed rock inside the pathway were perfectly level with the soil and bark outside the pathway. It looks beautiful. Plus, Jose's guys would always ask me if I liked the placement of items - like flagstone slabs, plants, landscape lights - before installing, and they always accommodated my requests if I wanted anything moved. It's very (very!) rare that I miss having a contractor at my house, but I really do miss the guys from Izazaga Landscape. read more

Jose and his crew of 3 guys did a fantastic job on our backyard. They are highly skilled, dedicated and passionate to do their job. After meeting with a bunch of different contractors, we found Jose to be most attentive to our needs and who provided a fair and reasonable quote. We also didn't have a professional to-scale architectural drawing but Jose could work off of our sketch at ease. Jose is extremely detail oriented, retains a ton of information, is patient, has great ideas and is attentive to all your needs. We debated options multiple times and he would quickly point out pros and cons to make informed decisions. He would also let us know when to cut things if he thought it would overwhelm the space. We let him know our vision, what we wanted the space for and he managed to transform it perfectly. He and his crew went out of their way to accommodate requests. Without us mentioning, they even laid the ground work for when we would renovate other parts of our yard so that the existing ground work didn't have to be redone later. They even came with their truck and helped load a bunch of stuff from the store as I couldn't fit it in my vehicle. I had some construction done in my front yard that left my front lawn sprinklers inoperable. A friend of mine referred me to Izazaga Landscape. The owner, Jose, called me back right away. He gave me a very reasonable estimate. His guys came out and they put in some new sprinkler pipes, connected them to the existing sprinkler heads and installed new sprinkler valves in a new location.
