Ramon from sprinkler system repair again did a great job. I am a repeating customer , and this time Ramon was here to replace my outdoor controller unit. He came on Memorial Day holiday and finished the job quickly and neatly. Will definitely use them again. read more

I wanted to add to my previous review to share a project that Sprinkler System Repair helped me with. We put in raised garden beds and I wanted to install automatic irrigation. I showed Ramon a picture of what I wanted, and he designed and installed a system that was even better than what I had showed him. I highly recommend this company! read more

In 2026, I required a sewer replacement - which disrupted my irrigation lines. Ruby and Ramon worked with me to get new lines laid down the day following city inspection - adjusting their schedules to make sure it was completed before I left town. Once again, superb work! I can't say enough about their responsiveness and great work n read more

Our sprinkler system stopped working, and Ramon came out and diagnosed the root cause within minutes. He was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend! read more

Ramon did quick and great work on my front yard sprinkler system! I had a leaky pipe and valve, and one of the heads was not sufficiently covering. I am very happy with the results and the amount of time it took get the job done. read more

I had called and made an appointment to have my sprinkler system back in working order . Edwar came at the appointed time and we walked through the system containing 6 circuits with only 2 that actually worked. He tested the power at the main control unit checking for power and continuity. He went to each valve and checked for power finding and replacing the power solenoid that controls the valve. He went through and got each valve working. Also discovered leaking pipe causing low water pressure on that circuit. After about 3 plus hours had everything working like when it was first installed. Very happy with his service and price. read more

I had a good experience with Ramon from Sprinkler system repair. He was very experienced and quickly replaced my sprinkler valve. He further repaired a pipe leak near the valve. He also proactivley fixed a few broken micro-drippers and ensured the entire system works well. I am quite satisfied with their service. read more

This is my 2nd review for this company on another job they did changing my sprinkler valves and one sprinkler head in my front yard. Ruby the secretary and billing clerk was great in her communication with me always letting me know when Ramon was coming to do the work. And Ramon who did the work was very good at his job and did a fantastic job putting in the sprinkler valves and changing out one sprinkler head. I definitely recommend this company if you need any sprinkler work done, they are the best. I will definitely be using them when I need sprinkler work done. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Ramon any Ruby for all the work you did for me. Larry Brinlee read more

Outstanding experience with Ramon and Sprinkler System Repair. He installed a drip line in our front and back yards, and after a few weeks, everything is running smoothly, and our plants and trees look great. His price was reasonable when compared with other quotes we got, and we are glad we chose him and his company - Ramon really knows his stuff. He is extremely knowledgeable about plants and their water needs, and he was very patient with my wife and I, taking the time to go over the timer instructions with us twice! We appreciated his communication, his work, and his expertise. Highly recommend. read more

Ramon provided top-notch professional service - I wish every repair could go this smoothly. He was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. He patiently explained his reasoning at every step and answered my every question. The tricky thing about an underground leak is that it's difficult to know how hard it will be to fix without seeing it. So I can appreciate the reluctance most companies have to provide an estimate, instead needing to charge to dig and diagnose first. But from my side, if I hire someone to dig and diagnose the leak, I'm pretty much hiring them to fix it, because with a leak tied to the main supply line I don't exactly have the luxury of shopping around after it's exposed. Ramon was able to provide a reasonable quote based on my explanation of the previous fix done in the area. What pushed me over was a 5 year warranty, providing peace of mind this issue would not bother us again. After he completed the fix, I found a small leak in an unrelated irrigation valve. I asked him how much it would be to replace the valve, but I was surprised he suggested applying some teflon tape at the solenoid fitting, free of charge. It did the trick! Ramon came across as truly passionate about his trade and wanting to help his customers. Highly recommend! read more

I did my research and then contacted Sprinkler System Repair, and they did not disappoint. Sprinkler Systems, is all they do, and they are very, very good. I highly recommend them, and also they are very nice people. read more

Ramon is very professional and knowledgeable. The prices quoted are pretty reasonable for the service. Their office is really unresponsive though. read more

Excellent work and good price, as usual. This is the second time we have used Sprinkler System Repair. There was a leak in the underground pipe, just below the ground surface. Another gardener gave me a quote and estimated a huge, 6-foot hole to get to the pipe (ridiculous since I could uncover it with my fingers). Ramon at Sprinkler System Repair did the work for half the price; there was a cracked pipe joint which they replaced in half an hour. He also took a look at our sprinkler settings to optimize during this time of drought. Knocked one star off due to difficulty communicating. Their Peninsula (main) number is very busy and the mailbox was full. Luckily the Pleasanton branch number has a voicemail, but I think they only check every other day. Cannot call and speak with a live person, you'll need to leave a message and have them return your call. read more

I highly recommend Sprinkler System Repair (SSR). My backyard sprinkler system is controlled by 2 valves. The right side sprinklers have not worked for years but I let it go to save repair costs and watered by hose. But recently on the left side, water was trickling out of several sprinkler heads so I could tell it wasn't just a broken pipe or head. I thought it was the water control valve that was failing. Definitely, the left side needed to be repaired so the yard wouldn't get saturated. I made an appointment with SSR and they came over on time and we walked through the problem. I live in San Bruno and they are based in Fremont so I wasn't sure if their scope covered that much territory but it does. He came over and confirmed what I suspected with the valve. He could not repair it that day and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. When appointment day came, their office called ahead of time to inform me they were behind schedule and could not make the appointment and needed to reschedule. I was disappointed but appreciated that SSR called me and did not flake and waste my time. These days companies don't always communicate with their customers. We rescheduled for an upcoming Saturday which turned out was the day I had long-awaited golf plans. I had to rely on my wife and son to work with Sprinkler System Repair. My family's interaction with SSR was great. Not only did they repair the backyard control valve problem but they also resolved some impromptu issues my wife brought up to them. I believe it speaks very highly of SSR's integrity that they repaired the backyard sprinkler system problem that I needed solving but they also did not take advantage of my family when I wasn't there and in fact, were very courteous and friendly. I'm hoping not to need SSR's services for the foreseeable future but I give them 5 stars as a recommendation to anyone looking for sprinkler system solutions. read more

They are pretty busy and it can take a little to have a call back and an appointment for a quote. BUT It is worth it. Ruby coordinated with me over the phone and Ramon and the crew did the job exactly as agreed. They have honest prices (lower than many others), they know what they are doing and they do it well. Our lawn was almost dead and as today, it is again green and with the sprinklers fully covering the area. I highly recommend you to go with this business. read more

We changed our old sprinkler controller into a new one. So this controller starts to mess up our 11 water stations. My husband and the electrician didn't know how to fix these wires. We were worried. It was a holiday. We suddenly found out that almost all sprinkler repair stores are closed for two days. And we are leaving town in four days. We have so many plants, roses and flowers in our yard. They may have a hard time surviving without water for months. Then we were very lucky to talk to Ruby. She responded quickly. She arrived on time the next morning under freezing weather. Ruby is polite, she is quick, and she is professional. She worked for two hours. The cost was reasonable. Most of all, Ruby has a gentle heart that makes her customers happy. We have a big yard. This job was complicated, she has a lot of patience fixing messy wires and checking 11 stations in our garden back-and-forth many times. In the end, this job was done beautifully. I can't believe I met such a wonderful person Ruby today! I would highly recommend you to go with Ruby and their business! read more

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to. Ramone came to work on our sprinkler system in Belmont, he fixed the chronic issues we had. No problem to fix one of my sprinkler today without any charge due to the previous service warrantee like 6 months ago........great service! I can totally understand they will show up late sometimes due to the extra time spent to complete the previous work and I don't have any issue with it at all as long as they show up to complete the job with responsibility. read more

Amazing service, always professional and great work for the price! Very honest and kind people. Will 100% recommend this business!

These guys do quality work in installing new sprinkler systems and in fixing old ones. Customer service is great!

Asked them to take a look at a manual shut off for a sprinkler and they said they would be able to look at it the next day. Waited and 15 minutes passed the appointment time, I tried to call Ruby and didn't get a pick up. 2 hours after the appointment time, I get an email to tell me they don't service my address. You couldn't have told me this way before or at least gave me a call so I don't waste my time waiting for someone that isn't going to show up? read more

It was such a nightmare to reach this company. They missed two appointments! I had to drive one hour to meet on site! I didn't ask for any other contractors because I want to finish asap and this company agreed to finish this week! Then they didn't show up twice!!! And it is very hard to reach this company. Can't be more upset. Now I have to find other contractors who I already told them hat I had to find one who can finish asap. More: After I post this review the technician showed up. I was happy that he show up eventually. But he told me that he is not going to help me because I shouldn't post a review before they do anything for me. He kept saying that I am not professional???!!! We had a big argument. I want to write more because I want him to understand that I review because he didn't show up not because of his work. I wasted a whole week to wait for him and denied other contractors. I took time off from my regular work to meet with him. I wasted 2 days in weekend to meet with him. Totally i wasted three days of drive. Please respect other people's time. read more

I called and made an appointment to have a a malfunctioning valve repaired. He showed up promptly within the allotted time and diagnosed the problem as being electrical. Ramon repeatedly tried various times to get it going again and eventually succeeded saving us an expensive replacement of the unit. He then was also able to repair a small break in the drip line having the correct part with him. The price was very reasonable. I certainly would recommend Sprinkler Repair System for your sprinkler issues. read more

Wow. These guys were wonderful. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and installed our brand new sprinkler system in half a day! The city began ripping out trees and roots on my street this month. As part of the process they used a tiller on the grass and ran over my meter box. This caused a water leak because the concrete meter box was sitting on my main line. The vibration/pressure from the tiller caused the 3/4" PVC behind the regulator to crack. EBMUD verified the damage done was on my end of the regulator so it became my responsibility. I began calling around on a Friday afternoon and found most plumbers either were booked, did not pickup the phone, or were not familiar with exterior irrigation/leaks repairs. I finally found Sprinkler System Repair through a friend. Ruby asked me to send her photos and also provided a price range over the phone. Since water was leaking into the street this was considered an emergency, so she quickly dispatched a technician (Ramon). To my surprise she also came on-site to oversee the job. Within an hour my main line was fixed. They also performed a test and cleaned the entire repair area. During the process I found Ramon to be very quick to diagnose the problem, explained and kept me informed as to what he was doing during the repair process, was super thorough, and patient. Also, the final bill was not only fair but within the range Ruby quoted me by phone. I "highly recommend" Sprinkler System Repair! I read more

They were quick to respond and arrive on-site to help figure out our situation. Thanks!

Thank you Ruby! We had 3 things wrong with our sprinklers and she was detailed, communicated everything going on and fixed the problems. Highly recommend this company! read more

This company is complete ripoff, adding prices for un-necessary works for given task. So i happen to ask an estimate for a sprinkler leak issue. Gus/Ruby came, they were completely hands off. Did not root cause the problem, just suggested to replace all values and sprinkler heads for leak! Even after asking them to diagnose issue, they seem to have little interest in knowing what problem is. Gave hefty estimate of $870 for the job. I got in another landscaper, who came, pin pointed exact leak and diagnose all of just $150. I do not recommend them at all. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Sprinkler System Repair for any of your sprinkler or drip system needs. We had a 5 star A+++ experience with them. I am sorry for overdue review but I haven't forgotten about how great of an experience it was working with the Ruby and Ramon. Thank you both! This is the work we had done last year: Drip system installed in front and back yard Sprinkler system repair Sprinkler heads repair and replacement Smart controller system installed Ruby was fast, organized, and efficient when scheduling our appointment for estimate. Ramon arrived on time and was very detailed in going through the work involved for our job and provided a few options to help save us some money. I appreciated that while not knowing our budget, they tried to save us some money in case we needed to. We went with the full-priced job which was reasonable. I tried to get estimates from 3 other companies that charged a fee to come out for an estimate which they would apply to the job if we went with them. On the day of our job, Ramon arrived on time and with a team to work on everything. This was a good start and reassuring to know that more than one or two people were handling everything. Ruby was also there to supervise and help everything go smoothly. After the job was complete both her a Ramon walked me through the entire irrigation system they installed and explained why certain drip systems and heads were used for different plants and areas. They meticulously quality-checked everything with me to make sure I was okay with all the work before the team left. Fast forward a 6 months and I thought some of our drip system was not working and noticed an area not getting water. True to their word about providing support and service after installation Ruby was super helpful again, and Ramon came out the next day to take a look at everything. The system was working fine and Ramon explained certain heads have a slower drip. He also installed a drip head in the area that was not getting water and did not charge me since we missed in our original job. Ruby and Ramon are a winning team! Their customer service was a signature of excellence experience and their team's quality of work is of the highest standard. Save yourself the trouble looking for reliable company and go with Sprinkler System Repair. You will not regret it. read more

Gus and his team are great - they showed up when scheduled and proceeded to do exactly the work agreed. They spent the whole day at our house (from very early morning, about 8am to mid-afternoon). Replaced several bits of hardware - big and small, tuned the otherwise tragically misplaced sprinklers. The job was big and messy, as much of it required digging and the like. They cleaned up the patio area and buried everything neatly, I really appreciate them hosing down our patio path because it got pretty dirty in the process and we have a 5 year old that loves to run around in that backyard Gus takes his time to give his customers options and discloses all of the information so you avoid nasty surprises in the future, we'll definitely be calling him again! Oh and the fact that they give a 2 year guarantee - awesome! read more

I called SSR on Friday after finding pools of water on my lawn in one particular zone. Ruby's professionalism on the phone made me feel confident that my problem was going to get solved by professionals, who take pride in their work. It did! Ramon didn't make the 8:30am time we had scheduled (a phone call would have been appreciated) however, when he did arrive, he quickly diagnosed the problem, offered an estimate and said he would return the next day to replace valves. He was honest w/ me that my valves in the front still had a few years of life in them and suggested I replace the solenoid instead. Grateful for the precision that Ramon put into this job. read more

Had a very good experience with this company. They responded quickly to my request for a quote, even though we live off the beaten path, and the estimate was reasonable. Their crew installed a new sprinkler system (six sprinkler lines, two drip lines, and a wifi controller) in our front yard in just two days, taking care to avoid unmapped water lines in that area. They also repaired a leaky water pipe that they found during the excavation process and uncovered/restored two drains that we didn't know existed. Overall, I was impressed by the quality of their work and professionalism. Gus and Ruby were also responsive to my questions--before, during, and after the sprinkler installation. read more

Ramone was great in helping me set up my Rachio system and irrigation. Great customer service and quick set up!

Great service! I called at noon on a Friday and Ramon showed up at my door that afternoon to fix a leaky pipe. I'm so glad this didn't go on for days wasting water. Prices were reasonable and they were so nice and professional. Thank you! read more

Last night we went to let the dogs out to go to the bathroom and couldn't stop hearing this hissing sound. A couple hours later, we still heard it. We walked outside to see water spraying out from the sprinkler controller nestled on the side of the house. We had to turn the water off and wait for repair. The following morning we called Sprinkler Repair System based on their great reviews and Gus was prompt with a call back, assessment appointment, and then immediate repair. Service was not cheap, but it was excellent!!! I would call them and recommend them to anyone in need sprinkler installation or repair. Very through and 5 year warranty. PS, he even fixed a broken sprinkler head for FREE. read more

The jobs done and they did a good job and I paid a fair price. They seem to really know everything about sprinkler systems

Had a leak of about 700 gals/day in my sprinkler system that my gardening people could not find after several tries. This is a fairly big system with 11 zones on about 0.4 acres. I called Sprinkler System Repair on Thursday morning. They came at 4:30 pm the same day to assess the situation, gave me a max. price to find the leak. I said OK and two guys returned on Saturday to find it. They found the leak and fixed it in about 5 hours. Great job by Ramon, and office manager Ruby. read more

I have been meaning to write a review for Gus for a couple months now. We had a major sprinkler malfunction a while back (on a Saturday evening) where our sprinklers were on and would not turn off no matter what we did. My husband and I are new homeowners and had no clue what to do - we tried everything on our own before we called Gus. It was a saturday night at 7pm - even still, Gus was over at our house within 30 minutes. He was very friendly and knowledgable and easily fixed the problem (turns out our gardeners and switched on a valve by accident that we didn't even know existed). If it wasn't for Gus, our sprinklers probably would have run non-stop until Monday. Thank you Sprinkler System Repair! read more

We had an appointment today at 4:00. 4:00 came and went. After 3 phone calls I finally get a call from a technician saying he'll be another 20 minutes (5:45). I completely understand that the day can get away from you but common courtesy is to call and notify client that you're running late. I had to initiate every phone call regarding the lateness. No excuse for this. read more

We called Gus to detect a water leak in our garden after working with 2 other contractors who couldnt detect the leak and charged us $800 for nothing.
