On June 6,2022 I went to Performance Auto in Jessup, Md for a complaint of no air conditioning in…read moremy car. The company charged me $89.95 diagnostic fee and advised me in writing that the problem was low on refrigerant due to the compressor leaking; needing replacement. Nothing was mentioned about any other repairs being needed. On June 10, 2022 I returned and authorized the repairs on my car and upon completion of the work, went home to find the repairs not fixing the problem. I subsequently called Performance back and told them that it is not fixed and arranged to come back on June 13th and waited approximately two hours for them to fix it. When I got the car back and drove home, it was evident that the unit was still not blowing cold air and called them back and brought my car back in on June 16th and again on June 30th. Spending all total about 8 hours of my time waiting for PROPER repairs to be made. Never being told what was wrong at any time no given a receipt for what repairs were made after the compressor work was done. Finally, I sent an email on July 2nd to them and followed up Tuesday July 5th with a phone call where I talked to the dispatcher and told her that I want my money back and I don't have confidence in the shop. Now they say because the car is old the system should be replaced but they can not state specifically what is wrong. When it was cooler out there was slight cool air at first. Now it is HOT air. Beware of this company as this is highly unethical and unprofessional and not the way customers should be treated. When you give an estimate to fix something, EVERYTHING should be in the estimate; not coming in after the fact and try to b.s. your way through a botched repair.

BUYER BEWARE (It looks as though we are not the only one with a similar problem)…read more To keep this simple and without emotion, I will summarize our purchase: - 14 months since purchase (the vehicle is officially 'dead') - $10,000+ : What we paid for our family of five. - $13,000+ : In REPAIRS - $9,500: The final estimate the Toyota dealership gave us to replace the engine and basically 'start over'. Our issues began *days* after the 90 day warranty. To quote the dealerships reply: "You're problem. Not ours." We have cases open with the Attorney General's office, a complaint has been filed with the BBB, and we will continue to share our experience through every review we can find. PLEASE - if you have a similar story, file complaints to the offices mentioned above.

Lender contacted and no buyback was authorized by them or us. They have fraudulently taken vehicle and mishandled paperwork. Disputes and reports have been filed with property state and government agencies and legal action to be taken. Police report filed. GPS has located the truck at their dealership even tho lender sent them check. All of our work and babies items are inside They will not answer texts, calls or emails, next step is lawsuit. We want our truck and possessions back. Purchased a truck. 4 days later it died. Took months to get them to take it back. Gave them a chance to do right got a new truck. They're still holding on to the title. They also claimed I made more money than I did. They need to make this right and release the title to us. Still haven't sent the title. Attaching texts to show they've been dodging it. They've been reported to attorney general, bbb, and va dealer board. Next step is small claims court. Never again. Yall can make this right. I wish I had read the reviews before I even wasted my time. So I live about 2.5 hours from this…read morelocation. I posted on one of their social media post and they sent me a message. They gave me the whole "everyone rides" shtick. At first, I told them how bad my credit was and how I didn't have neither a large amount to put down, nor a co-signer. They said it was not a problem. I then told them how far I was and that I did NOT want to take that drive and miss work and get there to find out I can't be approved. AGAIN they said it was no problem and that I would be approved and only have to put down $700, but if I didn't feel comfortable, I could apply online first with a pre-approval. I advise them that I still wasn't sure since it was a PRE approval and that I could still be denied. AGAIN they were sure I'd be approved. I fill out the online application and I get a credit inquiry notification on my equifax AND capital one app. That was on a Wednedsay. I get a text message form them confirming out appointment for Friday and to make sure I had the $700. At that point, I'm feeling pretty good because it sounded like I was approved........until I got to the dealership. I take off a day of work and drive all the way to their dealership that ended up being THREE hours. As soon as I get there, I notice they had me fill out another credit application again. That was a first red flag. My equifax and capital one credit goes off again. I'm then told that instead of the $700, I'd have to put down $2500. I was PISSED!! I made it clear that I only had the $700 and that I didn't want to make that drive for nothing! Turns out that I wasn't talking to an actual finance employee, but a social media marketer! No one cared that I made the drive. It was no sense of urgency. They all just had blank faces! So I leave angry and take the long trip back. That wasn't over. I post a review on google and the manager literally responds with a lie saying that I applied a MONTH ago and something else popped up on my credit causing the increase. That was NOT true. I didn't even know who this dealership was beyond a week ago! I found out about them and applied for the first time on a Wednesday and drove down Friday that same week! They then run my credit AGAIN on that Saturday!!!! I call trying to get answers to why my credit was ran again after we established I wasn't going to get a car. No on was man enough to man up and own it. I was hung up on constantly or sent back into the phone queue. I got one guy who sounded oblivious. When I was FINALLY able to get the lady (Gabriella) on the line who was the one that was working on my credit app, she said she had no idea and that she'd find out and call back. Of course she didn't. Then on Sunday, I get a text message from the original marketing lady asking how my car buying experience went and she just referred to me as "jackson". At this point, I knew they were trolling me. This place was horrible. Do NOT fall for the $700 down payment. That is NOT for everyone. They just say whatever to get you in the door and whatever happens, happens. I've wasted time, money, and credit points with them.
