Not the worst buffet I've been too, but not the best either. Very bland food. Clean facility, variety of foods but my major complaint is that everything was really bland. Most of the food had no taste, no spice or was covered with thick bland sauce. I've liked the food I've chosen to order, and healthy cooked vegetables are available and fresh fruit, and a kind of finger-food chocolate mousse that's wholesaled out to these kinds of places. I've enjoyed visiting with business friends and family here. It's not a hushed place, but it is not a dish-rattling place such that you can't hear the person across the table from you. The reason being, compared to it's peers here in North Houston, it is at least 1 star better. We stopped by for a "craving" type dinner. Selection was mediocre and rather small. About $22 for 2 people seemed a bit much for such a selection. Overall, taste was about average. The wonton soup had no flavor and the smells from the seafood and crawfish over powered the rest of the options personally. Not much to say for the desert options. I am amazed that in Conroe there is a very good Chinese Buffet. We had heard good as well as bad things. Today we went ourselves. First of all very clean, very good presentation, and all was hot and tasty. They have lots of variety of items on buffet. As well as menu. Husband had seafood items on buffet was very pleased. This is the best Chinese buffet in Conroe. I have not had one thing that was not good and fresh. They also do takeout and the lunch specials are amazing prices and enough food for lunch and dinner.
