I first saw Earth Aloha Eats online a few days ago before deciding to order. I was literally drooling at the pictures posted on the website and from other customer reviews and pics. I could hardly wait until the next day, as i thought of how delicious the food would be. I placed the order in the morning. So, this order was highly anticipated. I ordered the Greek and the Epic Iced Hibiscus. The order was on time, but the manner in which it arrived is one of the reasons why I am fuming and needless to say, disgusted. The pictures I've included will show that the delivery person (Door Dash) was not in any way, shape, or form, careful with the condition of the food. It came exactly the way the photo shows. The Epic Iced Hibiscus was not Iced. Ice was all melted by the time it got to me. I get it that this person had to make another stop before delivering mine, but, seriously! Measures must be in place to ensure the food gets to the customer in good, if not better, condition. I mean, I took one look at my plate, and I was pretty upset. I was hungry, so of course, I had to eat. But I did not have a pleasant experience. Oh, and another thing, the straw was not encased in paper or plastic (like most straws should be). So, not using the straw. Na uh! Other places I've ordered drinks from not only provide a covered straw but also cover the opening of the drink to prevent contaminants. Oh, I forgot to mention both the container of food and the drink were not in a bag!!! Whaaaat?!?!! As for the food (if I can even call it that), when I finally found the hummus buried under the mess of food, it was in a tiny itsy bitsy, cheap paper "cup" container. If you ever had to sample frozen yogurt or ice cream, that is the cheap paper "cup" I'm talking about.. Really?!?! For the amount of food I paid for and all I get is a tablepsoon of hummus?! Sad sad and pretty darn pathetic. The falafel was dry and lacked flavor. Quite frankly, I have not been very satisfied with most falafels i've eaten, except for the ones from the Döner Shack. Their's is pretty decent. I understand the poor condition that the food arrived in is the responsibility of the delivery person, but pls! The hummus served like that! And the falafel needs to be palatable. C'mon! Does the restaurant even care to ensure that before the food leaves the place it is bagged properly, which means, in this case, the drink is covered for sanitary reason as well as providing a clean, covered straw, and the delivery person has a good reputation to deliver the food with respect and professionalism? If you don't care for all that, then it seems you don't care about your customers. This review does not deserve 1 star, but I could not post the review without clicking 1. I will not be ordering from Earth Aloha Eats anytime soon. read more

Holy smack in the mouth they learned to cook vegan food well. Only *constructive* criticism would be to offer more just plant flavored options, as most replicates meat. Gluten free foodies! Here's your place. I was on the island for 12 days and needed something different- a lighter, healthier option. I stopped at this food truck 2x because the food and options were so good. I had the fish tacos and fries. The fish tacos were amazing. The cabbage just made the taco pop! Fresh, light, savory yumminess. The fries had the perfect crispy outside and flavorful on the inside with a great dipping sauce. I ordered online which was easy and convenient. After my order showed ready on the app, all I had to do was park, walk up to the inside window, mention my name and my order was ready. If condiments are not out, just to ask. So I had to update my previous 5 star review from 2 days ago because after what happened tonight (Friday November 5) I won't be returning here EVER!!!! We were near Earth Aloha Eats and decided we liked the Pulled Pork Fries so much a couple of days previous that we would order some online to enjoy for dinner. My wife puts the order in a minute later it is cancelled along with her payment...we were like "what happened". So since we were so close we decided to just stop at the truck and find out what was going on because we assumed they were just sold out. The young man working at 6:45pm local time informed me and I quote "Bro we are not sold out of the pulled pork fries, I just cancel orders that are not more than 10 bucks because we have to many other orders to take" I was like are you kidding me? So you have the fries...they are available for order on your website and there is NO DISCLAIMER at all on the website that talks about minimum orders correct.? I realize that in 2021 ordering online is the preferred method of most food establishments but I have never dealt with one that had minimum order restrictions without having a disclaimer at least. Not to mention, that this being a PLANT BASED food truck an a exciting change to the world of fast food so to speak, having restrictions is not wise and this comes from a 7-year long Vegan who has visited SEVERAL plant based establishments all over this country. The young man behind counter doesn't understand that everyone that comes to this locale is not local...in fact I am sure a lot of TOURISTS actually visit this location daily. I informed him of these facts and he said he would let ownership know about my suggestions but I have to tell you Earth Aloha Eats has lost a customer for life because again an establishment so know 2 things: don't put items on your menu you don't plan to see online and if you have minimum order requirements...post a disclaimer...pure and simple!!!!! Finally, I have to mention that in other reviews a young man was mentioned being rude and I am not sure this young man that I dealt with was that individual but he was rude and absolutely clueless on how to handle customer service issues. Creme brulee (pudding) is a must!! Huge portions, recommemd sharing. Fresh food, outdoor shaded seating, chicken strolling around. Located by the Azeka mauka, among alot of other food trucks. Outdoor but shaded patio seating. Menu is on the truck. Ask them about the item you want is available. The green font items are popular. - If you get the teriyaki bowl, ask for the sauce on the side because it's very saucey. - Tacos, bowls, and wraps are HUGE! I think vegans, and those with food allergies would really enjoy this truck. Pulled pork fries - it has a nice spicy (vegan) mayo with faux meat on a bed of crispy (perfect) fries. The fries had a lovely crunch and the sauce. Wow-za!! It's not spicy. It's more like a sweet spice kinda taste. Golden fish tacos- light flavors, crispy (faux) fish and perfect soft tacos. Mama Mia. Delicious!! Asian teriyaki bowl- 3 scoops of brown rice, pickeld salad and veggies with faux meat and teriyaki sauce with a drizzle of sesame seeds. Yum! Yum! Yum! Each bite of this dish had an authentic Asian flavor profile to the dish. Not overly done but just right. Kudos to you guys! I haven't had food like this in Seattle even. There's a posted sign on the loyalty interface, however, saying that an additional "4% inflation charge" is added to the total. WTF!?? Just price your menu accordingly! I cook in my condo while on vacation, but this is my last dinner on the island so I walked the short distance to the foodtrucks circled like stagecoaches at the far corner of the parking lot. Earth Aloha Eats is a quality, vegan foodtruck and Josh runs the show. The menu lists yummy-sounding dishes and after some thought, I chose the falafel wrap. I didn't mind waiting because I could watch him preparing my meal with care. My wrap arrived in a warm tortilla. I got Thai tacos without any tortilla as I don't eat grains. The co-owner asked me if I would like some salad with it at no extra charge. I told them I didn't want to bother them as it was my diet. However, when they arrived the tacos had been placed on a bed of salad. How wonderful is that? It really touched my heart!! The flavor of my tacos was out of this world. The flavors were wonderful, texture amazing. Just writing about these tacos has me salivating. My daughter got the Phish tacos and pulled pork fries. OMG, I tried the Phish and not only was it out of this world delicious but the flavor and texture will fool your brain into believing it is fish. The Pulled Pork Fries were the bomb. Situated in the Safeway lot in Lahaina this food truck is meat free and serves fantastic food. It is always busy but today I got lucky at lunch and managed to get an order in quickly. The crew were very friendly, full of fun and quick to get my gyro out. At $14 it is a steal as it is a good size, very filling, tasty and bursting with flavour. I love warm pita and tzatziki so that was a given, but the faux chicken was delicious and had the right texture (although it is over 30 years since I have eaten meat so I'm guessing). There are a few tables and chairs but they are in midday sunshine without any shade so I sat in my car with the a/c on to eat. Others were picnicking in the grass under the shade of the trees at the side of the car park. I will definitely return to try out a few of the other menu items as I'm intrigued by the faux fish, and want to try the bowls next time. read more

I gotta be honest, I didn't really know this was a plant based food truck until I got my food. I was starving and saw gyros on the menu and thought yessss, that's what I am having. That and some fries. My husband had already started ordering so I kinda felt the need to hurry up even tho I really wanted to check out the menu a little more Incase something besides gyros caught my eye. My gyros wrap was open faced and very pretty and the fries were prepared my favorite way - with the potato skin on! When things are open faced, I usually just eat it that way with a fork and a knife. The "chicken" caught my eye and I was thinking, darn did I accidentally order tofu instead? I love tofu which would've been fine but I could swear the menu said "chickin". And it did. Spelt that way too, "chickin" because duhhhhhh it's not real chicken! I was surprised even my husband loved the gyro because he is usually not big on "plant based" food establishments. My son ate half my fries while they waited for their food from a different food truck and those were a winner in his book too. Been wanting to try this place for awhile and so glad that I finally got to it! Gyro: Pretty heavy on the "meat" but wasn't really a problem since it had so much flavor. I could eat the "meat" on its own. I'd order it again honestly, you wouldn't be able to tell it was vegan at first glance. The fries: My favorite! The fries here were piping hot, well seasoned, huge, and soooo crispy, I kept eating them even though I knew I'd burn my tongue lol. I'd go back there just to get a plate of fries again! No one would be able to distinguish this sauce from a non vegan sauce. Hawaiian Sunset Lemonade: This is a gorgeous drink and I'm so happy that they use paper straws because I had forgotten my reusable one. It's pretty strong but it gets even better once you mix it. Overall: Service was fast and friendly, they made sure we knew we were getting served and took the time to explain their gluten free options. If you have celiacs disease, you'd want to be careful since a lot of the food items are prepared in the same fryer and toaster. This is a perfect spot to hit up for lunch after a busy morning with friends. Especially, if you're looking for something light to fill you up. read more

My family visited this food truck village and found Earth Aloha Eats. It's located on the Eastern Edge, so be sure to walk all the way through the village and around back. The food was prepared fresh, and was full of flavor with a great presentation. The portion was big, I wasn't able to finish the whole thing, and it was very reasonably priced.
