They are a local food truck that hangs out in a grocery store parking lot. Let me tell you...GO GET SOME LOADED TERIYAKI FRIES! Or the tacos, honestly you can't go wrong either way. A great little food truck offering a great selection of vegan options! I devoured the delicious vegan fish tacos. The Gyro plate was another favorite. Let me start off by saying that I'm from Greece so I know good gyros. I've been vegetarian for the last 14 years and it's killed me not to be able to have a gyro. Last night, I stumbled upon this food truck and was overcome with excitement to try a vegetarian/vegan gyro again - and these guys did not disappoint! For a really authentic Greek experience, ask for extra Tzatziki and get an order of fries to stuff in the pita (that's how we always do it in Greece)! Portions are HUGE and affordable - I could only finish half of my meal. You could potentially share it, but I'm pretty sure that you'll want it all to yourself! I cannot believe what happened to my husband and I at this place tonight. I am vegan and I'm always appreciative of vegan food spots out there and look to support them as much as possible. However, I will not be coming here ever again. Here's how our interaction went with an employee at EAE: It's 7:30pm we are looking for dessert. We look up when EAE closes and see that it closes at 8pm. So we walk over from our car (now it's probably around 7:35). We wait in line behind one customer. She takes her time ordering. While in line a guy leans out the end of the truck and says "hey guys we're closed." I look down at my phone and it's 7:38pm and think "hmm I thought they closed at 8"(considering there was sign right in front of the truck that said "closes at 8pm"). At this time the customer in front of us gets what she ordered and leaves. My husband says, "can I just get one snix bar?" No one responds to us. My husband gets closer to the window and says "Can she just have one snix bar? That's all we want" (because in our mind we're thinking this is fast and they don't have to cook it, it should just be something for them to grab quickly- the worst they could say was no). The guy at the register stares at him for a few seconds and says (while pounding his fists together and looking beyond annoyed with us) "Man I swear to god if you order something else other than a snix bar after I put this in I'm going to be fucking pissed." We looked at each other and we're shocked. My husband replies "oh ok, yea no I just want one snix bar that's all." The man replies, "Ok well the lady in front of you also said that's all she wanted and she added stuff after." He then hands up the snix bar. At that point I wasn't even interested in trying it. I was so astonished at how he talked to us. When is it ever ok to curse at a customer? It's unfortunate because it turns people off from a place that's offering plant-based options. Just because you're one of the few vegan spots on Maui offering something unique with a lot of buzz, doesn't mean you treat people like shit. It's definitely not "the vibe" and they like to say. Do yourselves a favor and check out other vegan eateries on the island who treat customers with kindness (the vegan way) or make your own vegan food at home. read more

This is by far our favorite food truck on Maui; the food is always delicious, the serving sizes are generous, the orders are prepared quickly and the staff is *always* welcoming and friendly. Over the weekend, my husband ordered the Pulled Pork Fries online while running errands in town; we made our way over to the food truck at the time specified. Once we got there, the guy working the counter said our order was ready earlier than planned; because of this, he was worried it may not be as fresh as intended, and therefore not up to their standards. He offered to prepare a brand new plate at no charge, and gave my husband BOTH orders. Lucky for us, the first order was perfect; the fries were still crispy and the "pulled pork" was still piping hot. So we pretty much got two for the price of one. We've tried nearly everything on the menu over the last couple of years and can't say enough good things about this business or their staff. Always happy to support local and recommend them to our family and friends! Also...SUPAH stoked they have a second truck here in town as well as over on the West Side...nice to be accessible wherever you are on the island! read more

Me eats Earth Aloha Eats and me likes it ! One of the highly rated places in the area is an unassuming food cart. This is the faux-meat type of vegan place, with recognizable entree names that are made with vegan meat instead. I got pulled pork sandwich, which I've never tried before but I thought this would be a way to ease in and it was delicious. My wife is a vegetarian, but she loved her Mexican Street (Chicken) Tacos. The meat shape and texture are pretty good, and the taste and sauces are awesome. Conveniently located in the parking lot of Safeway, and being able to park just to pick up a to-go order is a blessing, compared to the main street market of Lahaina, where you either walk or pay for parking. Cool food truck with a few food options, not a huge menu, but all vegan. I had a bowl with brown rice, jackfruit chicken, and some teriyaki sauce. It was okay, I expected all the veggies chopped or julienned but the broccoli and cauliflower were chopped up stalks/chunks which made it a bit more awkward to eat. The flavor was good but I didn't eat it all as the portion was huge. My wife had the falafel wrap which she finished and really enjoyed. The make it all after you order do don't be in a hurry. I recently stayed in Maui for 5 days and stopped by Earth Aloha Eats 3 times on my trip - I couldn't stop going back for more! As a person with many dietary restrictions I was amazed by the food choices. My family and I tried their Thai chicken tacos, teriyaki fries, regular fries, nozarella sticks, rice and veggies, hibiscus lemonade and creme brulee and had 0 complaints. The flavor and food combinations were amazing! The staff were also friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone else who is vegan and/or gluten free!
