After a few minutes I discovered when they rotated my tires they didn't tighten the screws. Everyone makes mistakes and the man behind the customer service desk was kind. Recently my engine light came on and I thought I would take it there again. After all the guy at the customer service desk was nice and they'd be super careful. A different man at the customer service desk was incredibly arrogant, rude, and condescending. He gave me a lecture on the dangers of driving with the engine light on and they would only charge me $98 to find out what was wrong. He stated in several different ways that I was making a big mistake and I should let them check my engine light. NOTE: You can go a couple blocks up the street Advanced Auto Parts and use their Diagnostic Code Reader for free. It is super easy, seriously if I can do it anyone can. I explained that I had just searched on the Internet and could go to Advanced Auto Parts and use their Diagnostic Code Reader for free. He laughed and said I wouldn't know what it meant, shaking his head. He's right and wrong, it's a code however, all I had to do was Google the code and read why my engine light was on. I read another Yelp and the woman wrote she felt they were not honest with women. The Yelps that are positive are all written by men. I gave them a second chance and it was not a positive experience.

Later, the mechanic quoted me a higher amount, without an invoice, and couldn't remember what the additional charge was for. Additionally, during a recent service visit at an authorized dealership, I discovered that this mechanic had installed an aftermarket transmission pan on my vehicle without my knowledge, which was not installed properly, leading to transmission fluid seeping and voiding my extended warranty. Questionable and unethical business practices, and I've lost all faith in this mechanic. Again, be very careful!

Whenever I go to the service department at the car dealership and they give me a list of "recommendations", I politely tell them, "just the oil change please" and then I go to Savco to see what I can save. I know that Mike and his team will tell me the real deal about my car and not try to just make a buck. I truly appreciate that. The level of customer service and care that they show their customers is unmatched in car repair shops. Whenever I go, people walk in and say "hey Mike" and he greets them with a smile. If your car is in need of some TLC, take your baby to Savco. You won't get any coffee or snacks. You won't get a complimentary car wash. Air bag light was on after I changed the headlight bulb from halogen to LEDs. Additionally a front coil spring broke and the AT started to downshift hard, 81k on the motor/and Tran. They were quick to see me and schedule, dropped it off, called the following day telling me everything they found, turns out that map sensor was due to a leak on a gasket, not the sensor. Long story short everything got fixed, new front end suspension, AT serviced, smooth shifting, car drives like it's new, no dash lights going off. The invoice/receipt printout has a good break down of everything done. TJ was personable, doesn't try to bullshit you, pricing is fair. You feel like your vehicle gets the attention, rather than the conveyer belt experience traditionally found at dealerships. Owner, Dave followed up to check on my experience. This was my first time here, found it just searching online for European auto mechanics, though they will work on other vehicles as well. I can say I will be a repeat customer.
