Counter help is slow and inefficient. The 'service windowz' is ridiculous and their posted hours mean little. Even my local postal carrier can't be bothered to put things in my home mailbox. Several times in the past two weeks, I've had late Amazon deliveries because packages were delayed in transit per tracking. This is AFTER they've been tracked into this post office. Last week, Amazon tracking said delivery was attempted but unsuccessful and the package was being held for me downtown. The next morning, we went to retrieve it and they didn't have it. This has happened before and they never leave a slip in my mailbox.

My door is less than 100 feet from my allotted mail box in my community and randomly after two years packages will now not be delivered? When asked about this change Teejay informed me it was due to Covid precaution. Claiming a Covid precaution in 2023 after not implementing it during the actual pandemic seems extremely fishy. Or a blatant lie. I understand the Christmas rush and the amount of packages but that does not excuse you to make up rules so that your delivery times look better than they are. TAKE MAIL BOXES TO THE DOOOOOOOOOOR TEEJAY is horrible. I'm sorry to the rest of the staff and workers for having to put up with him. Thank you the rest of you for all the work you do.

Prescriptions, Credit Cards, you name it -- they definitely stepped away with a few more items than I'd have liked. Located…read morejust a few minutes south of the 30 Freeway, there is a HUGE parking lot that greets you with tons of room to park, and get around, without feeling like cars are right on top of one another. As well, there are two decent sized entry's & exit' s depending on the direction of your travel. Nice right. Outside, the lot is very clean, with no debris or over grown weeds, lawns are neatly trimmed and pretty. Several trees provide well timed shade for warmer Texas days. Even with the postal service struggling financially, this location looks immaculate. Inside there are plenty of mailing supplies, with an automated weight and shipping center. Counters are clutter free, floors are clean. I feel like the love that goes into making this humble place pristine really shows and they take pride in it's appearance, which I greatly appreciate. I could not say any of these positive attributes about my former post office in Oak Cliff, sadly. Service has been very friendly for me. The female clerk who helped me open my po box several weeks ago was so kind and thorough, what a treat. I felt every bit of her respect and willingness to help, love it!! Doors are unlocked if you wish to come early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. It's a very quiet and safe neighborhood which in turn allows such flexible hours to pick up our mail and/or use additional postal services. If you are ever in the area, this post office can handle your needs and get you going pretty quickly to finish running other errands. All they need is a margarita machine and chair massages....oh yeah. ;)))

Well it happened again 9/17, tracking showed arrived at facility 7am, delayed but still in transit...today is 9/23 mind you i live 15-20 minutes from this post office, there is absolutely no reason it would take a week and still be in transit. So i call the facility and the phone just rings until it disconnects, i call the toll free number and at least they answer and offer to initiate a claim but it's fruitless as well, nothing ever comes from the claims. Unfortunately i will have to count this as a loss as well, and i agree with all the other negative reviews about this location. There seems to be no oversight, the environment is laxed, the customer service is poor, the ladies at the counters are always gossiping while a line of customers waiting for assistance and i also agree the packages are being stolen but who can prove it. It happens a lot of these facilities at the customers expense. I hope they shut this one down! Unfortunately i had to select a star in order to post but it would be a negative star for me.

I needed to drop off a parcel using a QR code. Once I arrived, I found plenty of free parking, but…read morethe best part was the super convenient self-service system. I could see a line as I walked in, but just after entering, there was a blue locker-looking machine where I could scan my QR code. The system printed the shipping label for me to attach to my parcel, and then I was able to drop it off right there and then. I simply followed the prompts, selected the parcel size, and one of the available lockers opened automatically to accommodate it. Dropped off, done, and out the door! I was in and out in less than three minutes. No waiting in line, no fuss, no unnecessary interaction -- just a super efficient and straightforward process.

I mentioned to Marcus that he's so loved and I think he appreciated the compliment. As I was waiting in line, Marcus worked on two customers at a time. When one was finishing up, he asked the next customer to come up. He works very efficiently and fast! I asked Marcus how to write my friend's address next time. I was in a long line for counter service with same 2 packages. A lady came out from the back with a scanner ready to help anyone she could. Scanned both my packages in 5 seconds & I was on my way. Highly recommend the Mansfield Post Office! The Arlington Tate office on SW Green Oaks needs to learn from them on how to provide great customer service.
