    Some of my favorites!

I am relatively new to card trading. Every single visit to this store yields a high amount of honest feedback, with no bull. Sure, some packs you can find "cheaper" but for a local card shop in Brooklyn with years of skin in the game? Staff is chill, easygoing, and tight knit. You can tell they care about their business, and profits are just a byproduct. I got into Baseball trading because of seeing Ohtani's legacy, and scored a beautiful RC of his for my personal "no sells". 10/10 this is a must visit LCS in Brooklyn if you're into collections from Magic, Major League Sports, Pokémon, and other cards, comics, etc.

Came here for the first time on a bad day because their stock was low (due to the crazy spike in demand on cards" but still came home with some great cards. The staff is very sweet and helpful and would definitely shop here again when i'm back in town. Thank you guys!

Staff is nice, but everything is overpriced- nothing in the store is close to msrp. If you like overpaying this is your store.

Best place for Funko's. The owners are great and do a lot for the community. This is a great small business to give your support to.

Its a small shop but stockpiled around the place up to the ceiling with gaming systems and previously owned cartridges of an endless list of popular games. There are likely even some unpopular ones that are now cult favorites for some reason. I noticed PS2 and PS3 items, along with Nintendo, XBox and many more. Not only can you find the games but they also have a stockpile of the actual systems and controllers on display so if you broke something you might want to get over there. Price wise I'd have to say that they can be all over the place because they are not your conventional shop with a new stock coming in from a distributor every day. They seem focused on the used games and systems so the inventory varies and fluctuates. There are games that are more rare than some others and some items might be in a little less than perfect condition based on use and that is bound to be the case with places like this. Truth be told, I find its better to deal with a slightly higher figure for something you've been looking for forever rather than risking someone else snagging it up while you opine the decision. While they primarily focus on video games for most gaming systems, they do have a stockpile of Funko Pops, some action figures, and a couple of boxes of old comic books all available for assorted prices. Again its based on the stock and the rarity if anything. I did see a stock of hats and billfolds and those are completely new along with a few cork boards of shiny pins which are also new. If you have a gamer geek in your family they should be brought here because I think they'd find something they need or wanted to have for awhile. I've seen them take trades for store credit but outside of that I am not sure how they deal with the walk ins with piles of games, comics or toys. Recommended.

This place's game selection for these systems includes the best of the best, along with the rarer and more esoteric titles, and the inventory moves pretty quickly so there's always something new every few weeks. The guy running the place, Adrian, is extremely kind and courteous - he is always willing to answer questions and provide info, but he's never pushing to sell anything and it feels like a no-pressure, comfortable environment for taking your time to browse. I'd totally recommend Brooklyn Video Games to anyone who appreciates physical stores for retro games and accessories - two thumbs up!

The moment you walk in, it's like your inner child grabs your adult credit card and says, "We ride at dawn." There are Gunpla kits staring at you, shelves of figures judging you, and an entire wall of gashapon machines whispering, "Just one more spin...what's the worst that could happen?" (Answer: you leave with 14 tiny plastic characters and no regrets.) The place is super clean, well organized, and dangerously well-stocked. It's basically a mini Akihabara dropped into Brooklyn, except instead of jet lag, you just get financial regret and a bag full of anime merch you absolutely didn't plan to buy (but 100% needed). Highlights: * The gashapon area is basically a casino, but for anime fans. I blacked out and woke up holding capsules. * Tons of official merch--Gundam, One Piece, PAC-MAN--if Bandai touched it, it's probably here * Chill card game area where you can pretend you came to "hang out" and not spend money Only "downside": * It gets crowded, especially on weekends, which just means more witnesses when you say, "I'm not buying anything else" and immediately buy something else Overall, if you're even slightly into anime, gaming, or collectibles, this place is a must. Just set a budget...then double it...then accept your fate. I'll definitely be back--mostly because I'm pretty sure I left part of my paycheck there
