I am relatively new to card trading. Every single visit to this store yields a high amount of honest feedback, with no bull. Sure, some packs you can find "cheaper" but for a local card shop in Brooklyn with years of skin in the game? Staff is chill, easygoing, and tight knit. You can tell they care about their business, and profits are just a byproduct. I got into Baseball trading because of seeing Ohtani's legacy, and scored a beautiful RC of his for my personal "no sells". 10/10 this is a must visit LCS in Brooklyn if you're into collections from Magic, Major League Sports, Pokémon, and other cards, comics, etc. read more

Vinyls, and other fun items are literally all over the store. We tend to come back here time and time again to get Pokemon cards that actually aren't weighed to get the secret rares and shiny cards. This place is awesome! My friends and I went a little overboard with the Vinyl Records section, but there are lots of other interesting items as well. We also picked up an old NES Game, camera bag and books. The owners are some of the nicest people and they really know their stuff. We had discussions of battle toad, dig dug and other game consoles. In the event they don't have something you're looking for, they have this notebook which you can write in what you're specifically looking for. Awesome little shop on Ft Hamilton Pkwy that has an assortment of bric brac, records, books, cds etc... I stopped in cause my friend recommended it to me. My collection of vintage vinyl is growing. Being an audiophile buyer I am always looking to complete my artists collections. Found a Stevie Ray Vaughn double record here at a reasonable price. The place is not very large but has many different items to add to your decor. Service was kind and friendly. Being a neighborhood shop it gives a nice feeling of community which is often lost in todays internet disconnect from reality. Definitely would return for more!!! read more

This place is a Classic! Growing up as a 90's kid and addicted to video games I always reminisce about the older days and sure as hell they have N64, Super Nintendo, even NES! they even told me that anything they don't have they can sure acquire. I was with my father when I first found this place and he was nothing short of astounded of the classic figurines and signs they had in stock. The owners Jessie & Erik are super nice and truly made me feel welcome. My father is now a regular in this place, even coming here to hang out in stead of buying stuff lol. This business advertises that they buy items. Very unprofessional business. I spent two hours pulling out items for Erik to look at of which some were packaging material. Instead of him calling me his wife, Jessie, calls to tell me she doesn't need the envelopes or CD's and quickly the appointment is cancelled. What about the 5 x 7 boxes? I also pulled out 1950 and 1960's baseball cards in mint condition he said he would be interested in if I had any. Knickknacks from capadumonte to very collectible american memorabilia were waiting for him to view. I used to like this store for comic books. After much speculation, and confirmation from their employees, I found out they give priority service to certain customers. Whether it be opening up early specifically for them or calling them about new comics before actually advertising it. I'm not mad about not being the first to get dibs on comics, but at least make it fair to everyone. read more

I used to come in here for comic books and I can see that somebody else wrote a review of the same exact experience I had in here. Whenever they advertise that they have new comics they advertise "first come, first serve". I'm fine with it being first come first serve. Just dont say you're open at a certain time, but actually open up 30 minutes earlier so you can give certain customers priority service. It's just a very dishonest way to run a business, and it's very similar to bait and switch. read more

Nice little find through facebook when I was searching records. Started following them and they seem to constant sales and they frequently replenish their inventory. A whole wall of pop vinyls and a few crates of records. The records tend to be one single price unless priced. Definitely worth a visit. read more

I almost don't want to write a review because I want to keep this gem to myself, but the owners are such nice people I can't be selfish. This place is amazing. We found this place randomly googling thrift shops selling vinyl in the area, after being disappointed with the prices and selection at Brooklyn Flea. Most of the records are 3.00- and not the usual beat up, no name selections you see elsewhere. We got old Madonna, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Blondie- and unlike many stores, they actually test and clean the records to ensure all records are playable. They won't sell anything that doesn't work well, and all the records played perfectly- no skips, great sound- on our turntable. The Hendrix and Beatles albums we bought were $10-$20 depending on rarity, but looking up the same albums on other stores the same albums are over $30-$50. Besides a great selection of records, I picked up some beautiful, hardcopy vintage children's books for 50 cents a piece, and my friends bought some vintage video games. The store also has a large selection of vintage home decor, Christmas stuff, cameras & cases, and jewelry. The owners are the nicest, most honest and friendly people ever. Erik and Jessie made us feel so welcome, were completely honest and fair about pricing and gave us a discount after buying a large amount of records. Will be back often! read more
