I sent the store a question and received a sarcastic childish message back. I'd expect this from grown men who play with toys all day. The store is always empty. With this persona reply, I can see why. I guess its more a club house than a store. The door is usually locked anyway. They're not open when they say they are. And from the looks from the window, the store is super tiny and has nothing . go somewhere else. Theres a much better comic store both on the LES and in the Bronx on Fordham road that's worth the trip. read more

First time buyer from their online store and they sent the book in a padded envelope, single backer board and bag. No cardboard protection so the book was damaged pretty good during shipping. It also came with a nice little message on the package "enjoy the book don't buy from us again", and people wonder why comic book shops are going out of business these days. I am a latecomer to the world of comic books. They always seemed super confusing and difficult to navigate. Luckily, I found Anyone Comics to help propel my already high levels of nerdery even further. Dimitrios is building a fantastic little community in Crown Heights that specifically wants to welcome everyone - no matter their level of nerdery, race, or gender. It is great to see both adults and children enjoying and connecting with awesome creators and expanding their own love of comics. Not to mention, they provide space for playing games like Dungeons and Dragons... my first ever time doing that! I was in dire need for some comic storage boxes at 830pm on a Saturday night in the middle of the coronavirus crisis. This was the only place that answered their phone. They were indeed open and I managed to buy 6 boxes and at a great price! Thanks again will visit again! read more

2 stars because at the very least the have a great graphic novel collection. I've shopped at this comic shop for about 2-3 years now, always buying something every time I go. The reason for such a low rating is because everytime I go I am never treated with the same kindness as the other customers. I've only seen men working the sorry and interacting only with other yt men. They always extend a invitation to other customers weather it be a game night or an exchange night, they ask other customers weather they found what they need, give recommendations, and overall have positive interactions. Never have I had a conversation with any of the workers. They always bag the comics for the customers but not mine yesterday. As I was checking our the worker spoke pass me to another customer ignoring me and not bagging my comic at all. I'm not sure if it's a sexism thing or a racist thing but I haven't seen them interact with any other person of color. Again the only ONLY reason I keep coming back is because it's the only comic shop around and going all the way to Williamsburg is a pain. But overall the treatment/ lack of interaction I have received here really really sucks! The chicken spot next door is 10/10 though, very nice workers there. read more

Dimitrios is not only an amazing store owner, but he's a comics expert who always has something new for someone. I came here after my first store closed & I can't imagine going to a different shop. This place is awesome, This is a little Haven in Crown Heights Brooklyn for hobbyist and comic book fans a like, The store is run by Dimitrios, of Midtown Comics fame !!! It's his personal give back to what he feels is the type of comic book shop that he walked into as a child.. How do I know this ??? I asked him, he is a great dude and wants to do great by his adaptive new community of Crown Heights. For the summer Anyone Comics will offer art classes, things for the kids and overall fun nerdy goodness.. Visited this new comic book store in Brooklyn within its first week of opening. The owner is very knowledgeable and was able to make recommendations to me, my husband, and our son. We all left with something we look forward to reading. The store is well organized and easy to navigate. I found the selection to be well-rounded- new with old, mainstream with less popular comics. I'm pleased with how accommodating the owner was to my son. He took his time to get to know his likes/dislikes and entertained him while we were browsing for our own comics. The transaction process was easy- accept cash and cards. I look forward to visits in the future. The owner stated that he has new inventory coming weekly. read more
