The coffee shop in the back is small, but offers up teas (iced and hot) and snacks like croissants, cookies and brownies. The patio in the back is the real winner. You can get a coffee and a treat and sit in the back and just enjoy the beautiful greenery. You don't even feel like you're in the city anymore, this yard transports you to a different place and time. The people are so friendly, so customer service is also nice. I haven't been here for an event but I'm told they host yoga, chess game nights and Gay Ridge events. I plan on checking those out soon. For an afternoon espresso, brownie, and nice outdoor space, this hits the spot.

I liked how there were sample testers for the lotions. Also there's your usual card selection in the back along with gift wraps, gift bags, and decorations to pick up. I also love cheese, but I'm just tempted to buy one of those mystery cheeses near the shelves or those seasonal delights/chocolates/cookies on the middle table. Also, I'd come back for the Pre de Provence soaps, Crabtree & Evelynn sets, and Tea Forte samples/cannisters. This is probably going to be my favorite shop.

They have a much better selection!!! Also they have little gifties! Plates, napkins etc for birthday parties, like Hello Kitty !! My personal fave ;) They sell candles, incense, books and some funny gag gifts like gum with funny sayings or pins that say Brooklyn Princess.. Okay maybe the princess thing isn't really up my alley but it's still pretty cool! I will totally come and pick up some funny things for my friends upcoming birthday. In fact, I recently discovered the shop itself as they hosted an outdoor vinyl sale, inviting other local vendors and collectors to sell directly outside their shop. It was a fantastic event under any circumstances, but in these days in particular felt like an inspired and ideal way to celebrate and embrace a communal NY spirit. I walked away with a nice mug for myself, a couple of surprise early holidays gifts off my list and, of course, some interesting new and used vinyl.
