Literally there are soooo many comics in here (maybe even a million?). Long boxes full of older and newer comic books (rarer ones are behind the counter). It can get a bit overwhelming since there's soo much to go through but I could literally stay there for hours digging through them. There is nothing fancy or anything inside. Strictly comic books, sport cards, and action figures (although I saw some old game cartridge in the back). This is owned by an older couple who have been doing this before some of you were even born. Ended up scooping up a few comic books that i wanted as a kid. Prices are fair as well. Unbelievable, but there are a lot of comic shops around that are just not professionally run (I'll just leave it at that) Dewey's is definitely a solidly run comic shop. I had been to them a few times in their old location, but parking was horrible over there so I didn't go often. Their new location in Dover actually has great parking so it is easy getting there. At first, the professionalism of the store sold me on making it my regular store. But as I kept going back, i realized just how amazing the staff is there. They know their comic stuff, and are really friendly. I found out after I had praised John (the main counter staff) to a friend that he has been there for many years and is a big part of the store's appeal... I can definitely see that as he's been nothing but amazing to me.. When I set up my pull list in the beginning, I mentioned that in addition to my main books could he throw anything Captain Cold related in. Yes, i know it was a vague request that couldn't be "programmed" easily, but I figured I'd mention it. And I've been delighted to find non-Flash books with Captain Cold showing up in my box. I enjoyed it tremendously and became obsessed with finding an original copy of the first issue to frame. Thus, I embarked on a journey to find it and after hitting up a bunch of comic shops in the city, to no avail. Months later, randomly, I decided to check out Galaxy Comics after meeting a friend for coffee, nearby, in the area. This was not in my original tour but I wish it had been. Not only did they have the first issue of Bitter Root, they had the next four too. Of course, I bought them all. Since then, I've been back a few times to stock up on comics. The vibe there is super chill and the staff really know their stuff. It's not the closest shop to me but I keep going because they always have what I'm looking for... even the older, harder-to-find titles.
