Interior is not large, but they use the available space well. Paradox has a wall of new pull books and many shortboxes of back issues. Above these shortboxes are a fair selection of toys and collectables. Behind the counter are Pop Vinyl's, variant comic covers, and wall books. They also sell some sports cards and collectable card games. Employee was helpful and knowledgeable. This is a good small shop that has just about everything you would want out of a local comic shop.

First off the owner is a super nice and helpful guy. He told me his backstory that he had visited the same store as a child and now is the proud owner. They have wall to wall comic books - mostly teen and up. They had a small section for small kids super hero books. There selection overall was abundant. Prices were fair and reasonable. Like all boys early in their life, I used to be into comic books. Now, not so much. After going to Deweys, maybe that can change things. Go and browse. I was certainly…read moreimpressed with how clean and organized the store was, along with their overall collection of back-issue books. So, I spent some time going through most of their bins. Unfortunately, the condition of those back-issue books rarely reflects the significantly higher prices they charge. As an avid comic collector and seller myself, I'm well aware of market value. And their prices are well -above- market value. Keep in mind, this is only regarding their back issues. The new release section had standard new-release pricing and was well stocked. So if I ever decide to visit again, it will only be for the new releases and nothing else.

I'd expect to see this bookstore cafe in somewhere like in Ogunquit, Burlington, Bar Harbor, Austin, or Asheville? Super cute place with an interesting, eclectic selection of used books. They have a little coffee shop/cafe at the front - and there's an area where they have talks and live music on certain days. The people who work there are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I think there's a cute little outdoor area, but it was closed last time I visited. Hope to drop by here next time I'm in Staten Island!
