Whether I'm looking for a birthday or Christmas gift for a baby, preschooler, elementary-school kid, or even a teenage boy who collects action figures, this is always a great place to come. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

My issue was with the person in the desk, i got a lunchbox and a bottle, beautiful and definitely love them, it was close to 100 dollars, again i love them and dont mind paying higher for a good product, so i ask to wrap it, as they normally do in these type of stores, and she got a scrap piece ( i dont mind that, but this one was all wrinkled, i thought like ok, children will not notice, in the middle of wrapping she was doing a really bad job and having difficulties to do it so i try to help her and she scream at me "i can do it, its all good" really frustrated for what i did, well im really frustrated for what she was doing and didnt scream at her at the end i let her finish but i was 2 secs away of requesting back my money, though i really like them, i did tell her its not a great job (i will add the pics took 5 mins later) and she made me a face of fu*k off. Im welcome to not comeback again, thats why next door store has more clients, i guess i should stick to my regular store, this happened may 11th around 5:15 pm, i hope it arrive to the right person to be able to train better your personnel

This holiday season, spend your money locally. Buy your kids something from the neighborhood. If…read moreyou don't know where to do it, it's a good thing you're reading this review, because you should be going to Runnin' Wild. We've been coming in here since they used to do kids haircuts a few years ago, and even though that's not a thing any more, they've still got all the things. They've got shoes (boots for the season!), clothes, toys, scooters, games, balls, stuffies...all the things you want to give your kids for the holidays. Yeah, I get it. You may be able to get some of that stuff for a couple dollars cheaper on the internets (or you may not), and then you get to make a billionaire more billions. But you live in Brooklyn because you like it here. You like it here because of the amazing local businesses around. So buy your stuff here. This is a family shop, run by the nicest people, and if you want these things to stay, you need to keep your money local. Last time in, they asked my wife to come back and pick up the scooter for my daughter later on, because their best gift-wrapper wasn't there at the moment. They wanted us to have our gift wrapped right, and I appreciate that. We'll be back, over and over again.

Not only did they answer their phone at 10:03 am (3 minutes after opening) but the man on the phone was so friendly and accommodating. The price for 9 ballon's was so affordable, way cheaper than party city. In all it worked out perfectly. This place is amazing and has so many things for kids. Although I went to get something for an adult. I can not wait to bring my nephews here to buy them some toys, shoes & the cutest Knick nacks. Definitely check out this place if your in the bedstuy/clinton hill area.

But it's also a space that highlights artists doing unique and beautiful things (the owner included. She makes many of the things in the shop. I've seen flyers for mini quilting, paper marbling, knitting, and all types of other craft arts. The prices are not outrageous for items that are all handmade. It's worth its own special trip, even if you're not local.
