Very clean restaurant. So glad they're open on Christmas eve! Good is tasty and the have American options, too! They do have table service for drinks. Friendly staff! They gave a customer free dessert for her birthday !

Came here a couple months ago and have returned once since. By buffet standards they are a grade above most others. While it is also a little more expensive, the dinner buffet has a lot of nice offerings. The ice cream actually tastes like ice cream instead of water that you get at many other buffets. The staff is not friendly and they are like hawks watching. I've seen them take plates, drop the check and cookies while people are still eating. With that being said they still get the 4. Keep in mind it is a 4 for buffets!!! The standards change depending on the type of establishment. I would certainly return. And you should give them a shot if you haven't yet. ENJOY!!!

Good place, if you are looking for a buffet. They have a decent selection of food and the service is great. It's also not too far away from Paramus mall, so we liked it. They have sushi and Korean BBQ. But it was a little pricy. If we did live nearby I might visit there more often.

Dynasty Buffet is a pretty average Chinese-style buffet place. The selection size is not that great, but the food itself is decent. In particular, the teriyaki chicken and mussels are good. The sushi is average, but any time a buffet offers sushi, that is a plus to me. However, there were no crab legs today! From reading other Yelp reviews, it sounds like that is the highlight of this buffet, so that was disappointing for me. I arrived for lunch at 11:30 when it opened, but when I arrived and walked over to the food stations, I noticed that half of the food wasn't even there yet! If they can't get all of the food there on time, then they shouldn't be open yet. The staff members are attentive when it comes to helping you remove your used plates from the table. Overall, Dynasty Buffet is a fine place for Chinese food in a buffet setting. There are better places you can go to, but if you happen to be in the Saddle Brook area, this is not a bad choice.

Comparing other Chinese buffet restaurants, there're not much food you can choose. The price is more expensive than others. Not worth it.

How are they going about business with Covid safety precautions? Is it still operating as normal?

Masks are optional. There was a sign on the salad bar asking customers to wear a mask, but I only saw some employees wearing a mask. Disposable gloves were available at the salad bar.

    Is it halal?

    No it isn't

    Hi, is this place BYOB?

Yes they have alc on shelves but I guess that's for display

What types of seafood do they have for lunch buffet on Saturdays? Sushi, shellfish, fried fish, etc?

    Sushi and fried fish pieces.

How much for 2 people lunch?

About $40 plus tax, tip, and beverage. Drinks are not included in the exoensive price of the buffet.

Majorly disappointed in the Poke…read more Recently, we ordered pickup from Tokyo Express for the very 1st time for 2 poke bowls. Honestly, we thought we were getting a steal with their amazingly fair pricing of $10.50 for 2 scoops of protein and unlimited toppings. Where can you seriously find that inexpensive of a poke bowl anymore in 2024????? It was just too good to be true. I had never seen Tokyo Express in person, in passing and barely looked at the Yelp photos. BIG FREAKIN' MISTAKE. I arrived for my pickup order to what I can describe as nothing more than a "bootleg" Americanized Chinese restaurant masquerading as a Japanese takeout establishment. As I watched the staff make our poke, I observed where the fish were stored and I immediately thought to myself "What was I thinking???????" as I stared at the questionable refrigerator. In addition, as the employee was assembling our poke, he was hovering very closely over it as he put it together and was inexplicably chatting away about 2 inches from the surface of the food. In the words of John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious?!?!?!?" OK, so how was the food you ask? Do you want to go there? First, the good. It ACTUALLY LOOKED GOOD! The guy who assembled it did a great job of neatly putting it together, but it all went downhill from there. The sushi rice? NOT sushi rice. It was just regular white rice, so immediately they took a major hit there in my eyes. As for the fish and rest of it, it didn't taste that bad, but I couldn't get over my entire experience as I waited for our poke bowls to be made. Everything just didn't taste as good as it could have been if I never walked in. NOW, they do serve other food of course, specifically hibachi style food and it looked pretty decent as the worker was cooking it, but I don't think I can bring myself to come back for anything here after looking into the kitchen. Also, the neighborhood wasn't the greatest and sketchy person after sketchy person walked in, so that's that for us. Onto the next poke spot.

The sushi was super fresh and delicious! Everything was nicely packed and delivered on time…read more Definitely one of my favorite sushi takeout spots!

10/10 -- My New Go-To Sushi Spot!…read more I've been on the hunt for a new go-to sushi place since moving to the area, and I've tried plenty of good spots nearby -- but this place absolutely blew me away. Hands down, the best sushi I've had in a long time (maybe ever!), and that's saying something. From the moment I called in my large order, the experience was seamless. The owner was incredibly kind, got everything 100% right, and made the process so easy. When I walked in, I was immediately struck by how clean and fresh everything smelled -- a great sign. They also offer boba (at a really fair price!) and have fun extras like seaweed snacks and unique chips -- super cute and convenient. But the star of the show is the food. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. I ordered for myself, my brother, and my mom after a long morning of errands, and we were all seriously impressed. I'm a huge miso soup fan -- I've tried it at nearly every spot in NJ -- and theirs is officially my favorite. Perfectly balanced and comforting. We had: - Sweet potato rolls, Shrimp California rolls - Spicy tuna, spicy crab, firecracker roll - Spicy yellowtail & regular yellowtail - Clear soup, miso soup, and udon soup Every single bite was fantastic. You could taste how fresh everything was -- we genuinely couldn't believe our luck in finding this gem. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive -- truly an A+ experience from start to finish. This will absolutely be a repeat visit for us. If you're in the area and looking for great sushi, you need to make this your next stop. Thank you again for such a perfect lunch -- we'll be back soon! -- Lauren

It's a cute little sushi spot tucked away in a corner near the Walgreen's in Lodi, but also nearby a mainstay in Lodi that could provide potential competition - Ya Food - Zheng's Garden. Not to conflate Japanese and Chinese food together, especially as an Asian-American of Japanese and Korean ancestry - however in the United States, many people who have a hankering craving for "Asian food" certainly may not argue a difference, and that may be key to most people. I've eaten their shrimp shumai and pork dumplings, and honestly they are par-for-the-course; not terrible by any means, but certainly average. Their miso soup is very good - offering nice chunks of tofu in with large pieces of kombu seaweed, as well as their shrimp tempura; but then again, it's VERY hard to screw up miso soup and frying some shrimp. I have yet to try any of their traditional nigiri sushi pieces; but I did notice a bit of lack of variety in their offerings of more traditional forms of sushi compared to the overly-sensationalized and Americanized sushi rolls such as a "Mexican roll", whatever that's trying to be. All in all, so far Yama Sushi has hit me as an average Americanized Japanese sushi spot. I'll definitely come back to try their actual sushi, and I'll revisit my review during that time.
