Before choosing to go here, I checked their website which lists many items that I was looking forward to but found out after paying $30 per person x2 that the foods listed on their website was not served: Peking duck, walnut shrimp, turkey, baked scallops, asparagus, pot roast, tripe, baked red snapper, BBQ chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, chicken parm, pasta vodka, seafood rice noodle, 17 sushi listed were not being served, creme Brule, tiramisu, coconut cake, and carrots cake. The service was horrible and the servers were not attentive. After our first serving, the server told us goodbye thinking we were leaving. The servers were yelling at each other and very disgruntled. I have not enjoyed this sort of buffet as of late. It seems the food quality has declined while the prices increased. I ordered a cheeseburger that was inedible and absolutely enshrined in cheese. The pot roast had some clear gel on it (aspic?) and the meat was terrible. The chicken parm was dry from being on the warming rack for hours. Crab Tempura, crunchy, well seasoned batter, some of them were not too fresh, unfortunately. Crab legs, wish they check the salt content in the boiling water.. way too salty. Mustard greens, not overcooked, nice green color, made in small batches. Baked salmon - way overcooked, pity since it was seasoned well. Fresh chucked oysters and clams - with a little dollop of cocktail sauce and a squeeze of lemon juice = super delicious! Peking duck - was so so, I would skip this next time. This has been by far one of the best buffets i have ever been too. A little pricey, but you honestly get what you pay for. The food is cooked so well and tastes so good! The staff is friendly and are always refilling drinks and checking to see how everything is. Their sushi bar is to diee for. They have a great selection of desserts as well and they even have fresh steaks short ribs, regular ribs and chicken teriyaki being fried. Aside from the food being good and the employees being kind, the buffet looks and feels clean. Food is always fresh due to how many people come and eat. Food is always getting refilled. I am so sad that this buffet is so far away from home. We need more places like this here in Queens. When i go back, i am 110% coming back to eat here. It is so worth it. read more

I usually I would only recommend a buffet for someone looking for a gut-busting experience. However the food is good enough at Dynasty Buffet that I could recommend this place to anyone. Like any other Asian buffet, there is an array of typical dishes like General Tso, Sesame Chicken, or Egg Drop Soup, all winners. What makes this buffet a cut above is the meat stations. You can get some freshly cooked steaks, shrimp, or other meats. I honestly was taken aback by how tasty the steak and sushi was. What's the negative? This buffet was our hiking group's dinner after our Mohonk Preserve hike. Had a decent sized parking lot. When our group entered, not even kidding, the busy dining room, EVERYONE turned around and were gawking at us like we were aliens. There was a separate station that served oysters and clams on the half shell as well as several condiments, a dessert station and a hibachi station that had steak, ribs, and other stuff. There was a HUGE bucket of fortune cookies too. Overall, the food was JUST OKAY. The oysters and clams seemed to be cleaned rather well..which definitely surprised me. Desserts were OKAY. Their creme brulee was surprisingly good and had a good consistency. Their steak from the hibachi station, although was cooked medium rare to medium, was one of the toughest pieces of meat I've EVER eaten. Overall for $26/head including tax and tip, it wasn't too bad. I personally love this place and I always leave satistied. I have a routine on how to eat here. The best things from here are the sushi, the chicken teriyaki, the scallops wrapped in bacon, the fried wontons with cream cheese & crab, and the creme brûlée. They are best at lunch since it is cheaper. I do find the price raising up here and there to eat. The service is good since they refill your drink when ever it is empty. Took my folks here the other night along with my son. Place was jammed and filled with tons of food. It is pricey for sure, $27.99 each on Sunday but you can eat almost anything here. Fresh oysters, clams, sushi, grilled meats and everything else you'd find at most buffets. You have to get the food as it's out out though. I grabbed a short rib and a regular rib and both were like eating combat boots. Everything else, especially the sushi, was very good. I try to avoid AYCE Chinese places, but Dynasty is really top notch. Everything is fresh and well seasoned. I primarily enjoy the fresh seafood. The raw oysters are shucked right in front of you and taste great. The sushi is pretty good...nothing to write home about though. The big draw, of course, are the crab legs. I haven't experienced any pushing, but people will crowd to get them...that said, they keep on bringing fresh ones out so there is no need to worry. A hidden favorite are the asian salads...the seaweed salad and the jicama salad are pretty yummy. Constant disappointments are the peel and eat shrimp...mealy and over cooked. Luckily the other shrimp dishes make up for this. Another disappointment are all the crying kids...lots of big families with poorly behaved kids. It's often very noisy. For some reason I once again forced myself to eat at Dynasty Buffet. The food here for lunch is so awful. The sushi is about as food as the pre made sushi from BJs. They don't make any fancy or decent rolls. The Chinese food is not anything to talk about. So I'm won't. Ok a few things. The fried selection is ice cold. They brought out fresh French fried and for some reason they were cold. When asked to replace them the woman gave me a nasty look and mixed the plate instead.
