I came here for a family birthday dinner and booked the party room. The private space is nice and you decorate the space with your own decorations. It's also BYOB and you can bring a cake too. The buffet itself has a good variety of dishes. The sushi and hibachi was the best part of the buffet. For hibachi, you choose the ingredients and pick a sauce (hibachi, teriyaki, spicy, soy, brown). I'm not a buffet person but it's not bad for a buffet and has more selection compared to other buffets in NJ. read more

This place is pretty decent. Walked in at almost 330 and were asked if we wanted lunch or dinner. We went with dinner since it has the most seafood options which my other half loves. Price is decent especially if you are going for the seafood. They also offer sushi and hibachi. The desserts never look that good honestly but you can get ice cream which works for me. It was pretty empty when we went so we were seated quickly and service was fine. Waiter always attentive of when refills were needed. Good for families and a casual date night. Passed on way going to a local furniture store. Didn't know buffets were still open. Glad I stopped in. It was lunch time. Was pretty busy $12.99 buffet sushi & hibachi included. Didn't tell you $3 for unlimited soda but was ok. Food was hot and fresh. And you had to find something you liked. I tried hibachi after a few plates later. Was awesome. No more self serve ice cream. We came here on a Friday night to grab dinner because my husband suggested a buffet - plus we haven't been to one in a long time. We walked in and were seated right away (this was around 5ish). We were frequent at this location up until my boyfriend almost died, he was choking on his food one day and the employees at the restaurant did nothing no help, no call to 911. if it wasn't for a man that was seating eating there , he preformed Heimlich and because of it saved his life! I have been to 7 or 8 different Chinese Buffets throughout NJ, and I can tell you, that they are all pretty much spitting images of each other lol! It's an "Asian Inspired" interior, with a koi pond with several eater features as you walk in. Various Asian artwork on the walls... Each table has a napkin container with the table assignment. A1 B17 C5 etc. You go to one you go to them all! Lol! Staff greets you warmly as you come in, and your waiter/waitress brings you your drinks quick, and refills just as quick. I do enjoy them though! The ones in NY do not have hibachi, so that's a major plus! It's not crazy amazing but it's a plus! It's like your basic hibachi, but you pick the cold ingredients, and then you hand your plates to the chef behind the grill who makes it for you. Chicken, pork, beef, shrimp. 10 or so veggies, eggs, sauces, garlic. Lomein noodles and I believe glass noodles. Please correct me if I am wrong. This Buffet does has a much larger seafood offering than most other buffets! So that is a big draw here. Salmon, clams, baby clams, shrimp 4 or 5 ways, oysters, mussels, fried cod, calamari. And a few others I've forgotten. All pretty solid! No complaints. The other food is also typical Chinese buffet food, nothing really stands out. Boneless spare ribs were pretty solid, I wish they'd use a regular serving spoon and not slotted, I like the sauce lol! Wings were solid. But have you ever noticed how they already ALWAYS yellow? No idea how lol! They have pizza, fries, chicken fingers, my kid enjoyed them. I believe it was 16 or 17 pp then 2 for soft drinks. Came out to 62 for 3 adults with tax. Not a bad price for what you get! Finally dessert options are decent as well. I like their frozen selections like frozen dessert bar or other non "ice creams" lol! Because there isn't enough cream in them. They are frozen desserts not ice cream. They had a few cookies, and fruits which my kid enjoyed as well. Okay. FG&SB has come a long way since my first review almost a decade ago. Here's what you get: *Standard "buffet sushi"- sort of... meh *Made-to-order Hibachi. Very nice and lots of options. *the Huuuuge buffet. I think there's 12 tables? Weekend include (for a higher price, of course,) crawfish, crabs, small steaks, and all the usual suspects. Been here twice now. Husband loves it. I was not impressed the first visit. But our second visit, I got the hibachi. And omg was it good. You can pick your veggies and meats and they will Make it right in the back for you. I ate everything on the plate. The best thing is the value for the price. As Chinese buffets go it is one of the better. First of all everything was clean. It includes a hibachi station and Sushi. Everything was hot, the soups were good, the hibachi station is really good. It's hard to beat the lunch buffet here for just $12. Wide variety of options typically found at an Asian buffet (including basic sushi and hibachi). The service is always prompt and ambiance and decor is great. Plenty of parking since it's located in a strip mall. Lunch is very affordable but dinner prices are higher. And to make my dinning experience even worse, today I handed the cashier my frequent dinning card to redeem my one free meal, the woman takes the card starts talking to the other girl in her native language then tells me she can not honor it, because it's only for lunch. I told her it is lunch time , 1:40 pm she then tells me they they only serve dinner all day on Saturday. Take away from this what you want. It's definitely worth a shot to try if you have not already! It's a pretty large buffet with many options to choose from. They have foods such as: chicken fingers, hibachi (create your own), Chinese food, Italian food, donuts, ice cream, etc. It really depends on how busy it is if the food is fresh or not.. if they aren't busy they won't be replacing the cold dishes that have been sitting out but what do you expect. The only Thing that doesn't taste terrible is the hibachi grill, everything else tastes horrible. The flan was greenish gray and the white rice was crunchy. They tried to add a $17 tip for bringing our water and to top it all off it's 18 per person. Not worth it read more

The food here is always delicious. Prices are worth the trouble. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. This is one of the best and one of the last great Chinese Buffets. The best one I've ever been to! Everything was fresh, they keep the food well stocked and don't leave a few pieces trying to force people to eat them before bringing kore of an item out.
