Anytime I have a crave for Chinese food, first place I think of is precious Chinese cuisine. I live about 30 minutes away but trust me it's worth the travel. You have to admit when you go to different places, the food may not be cooked the way you had it the first time. It's like they add their own flavor and no all Chinese restaurants aren't the same nor do they taste the same. I personally don't like the chicken I would rather the broccoli and extra sauce on rice. It's so good that my mouth is watering as I type this. I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the chicken wings. But no those are good too. It's not much to say. After trying two other locations for Chinese in the area I was really disappointed in the quality of the food but my friend and co-worker turned me on to precious Chinese cuisine and I'm a believer that you can find good Chinese food in this area. Small location with 4 large tables if you choose to dine in. Very clean and the staff is pretty attentive. We came in and placed an order for pick up and it was ready in about 10 mins. The lunch prices are very reasonable, my sesame shrimp was only $6.95 and came with pork fried rice and your choice of soup or soda. I'll have to stop back in here to try some other options to please my pallet but over all this is the best Chinese I've found in this area so far. read more

I'm surprised with some of these poor reviews, I have very good luck I guess, and yes there are times the delivery can be of an hour, But i use my head and know that at 7pm I outta go pick my food up instead!! They are Nice people and I think they're sushi menu is good and versatile, reasonably priced. My family has been enjoying "Precious" for at least 5+ years now. The four stars are for the food plus the kind attitude ... good people and super-fast delivery are usually very reliable. I can't comment on their Thai, Malaysian or Sushi/Japanese as I haven't tried enough of their offering - but the selection is wonderful if you're adventurous! Try their Cantonese Noodle Soups for something different - they even have a "Wonton Noodle" soup (both wontons and your choice of noodles!) for those of us NOT COUNTING carbs. In this country, you won't find many Chinese/Asian Restaurants named "Precious" so ... good for them for being creative. I've often wondered what would happen to the Chinese Restaurant business if they banned the words "Hunan", "Imperial", "Panda", "Palace", "Golden" and "Kitchen" ... it would be anarchy I tells ya, anarchy! Don't go to Chili's or some other franchised cuisine-killer - SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RESTAURANTS. Your dollars are your most powerful and effective form of true resistance (and no, I didn't forget about your voting rights). LOCAL SUPPORT OF SMALLER BUSINESSES PROVIDES GLOBAL SUPPORT TO MANY OF OUR TROUBLES. I have taken food out occasionally from Precious, but today was the first time I ever sat down for lunch. It was decidedly spartan; no crispy noodles, no duck sauce or hot mustard, no pot of tea, and when I finished, no fortune cookie. These small amenities are the norm in every Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in. I ordered shrimp with black bean sauce, and it was basically good but bland. The sauce was a bit gooey and it was not at all hot and spicy as I ordered it. The wonton soup was good. Final verdict: I've had better Chinese. And I missed the small amenities as mentioned above. Finally, the men's room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, and it's shabby anyway. Not pleasant at all. Facelift time. read more

I have lived in the area for 14 years now and have been to Precious many times. At first the food was delicious with a broad menu of different Asian persuasions. Service was never great. Over the years the food became more bland and service even worse. I'm writing today because my family and I went last night in spite of knowing it wasn't going to great. We just wanted a no wait Saturday dinner and were really just going to have some soup. We walked in and literally walked right out. Greeted by hostess with drooling baby in arms. Place was totally empty. Largest table in center was occupied by the owners family. All kids under 10 laying on tables and coloring books and such everywhere. It was sureal. We walked out faster than you could say WONTON. We're not germaphobes but in light of recent Ebola news I'd rather not eat off a surface that drooling filthy hand little kids are playing on. This was so bad I am seriously thinking about calling them to let them know. read more

I've tried Chinese a few times since moving to the area, and this is the first place that I WOULD GO BACK TO without pangs of guilt -- knowing that the flavor fix usually comes with heaps of fat and shiny sauces... At Precious Chinese Food, you can feel good about what you're getting. The food was fresh and the meat and seafood portions were right-sized and well-prepared. My only warning is to take the Peppers on the menu seriously. If you order something that the menu indicates as spicy -- it will be SPICY :) Per the other Yelpers, I did take out. I had Precious for the first time in 2007 when they opened and it was the best Chinese food I had ever had in my life. 11 years later and no where even compares to this place. I've gone to college and moved out of state and every time I come home to visit my family I make at least one stop here. The food is so fresh and delicious. There's nothing on the menu that isn't 10/10. Every time I order general tso's the chicken tastes so fresh and it stays crispy (which is hard to do with takeout). Their chicken with broccoli is amazing because the broccoli is so fresh and has a nice snap to it. I wish I could take this place with me where I live now because no matter where I move nothing compares. A hidden gem that has been consistent for over a decade. Very well done! read more

The food is always great. Delivery is generally quick. We usually stick to basic items/combo dishes/sushi rolls. The biggest plus is the gluten free options. They can cook a wide variety of items GF. One star is being generous. We went there for lunch today, and it will definitely be our last time there. When our sodas were brought out- they brought two slightly cool cans of soda, one glass, and no ice in the glass. That was the first clue that this was a big mistake. The place is dark and grungy. Everything seems to be covered by a sticky film. We thought since some other Yelp reviews were so positive , that the food would make up for the surroundings. Nope ! Rubbery Calamari, flavorless General Tso's ( I figured I would stick with a standard item after another reviewer's warning) and the bland Sweet and Sour Chicken all served as reminders to never go back. They brought the wrong food for my pregnant wife and then wouldn't bring the right food for over an hour. The most I could get them to do was not charge me for the food they didn't bring. The food is ok but that's pretty bad customer service. Update: We ended up driving there to pick up the right rolls. They were very nice gave us them for free. Still not ideal but I appreciated that.
