Good food good value, fast preparation, taste great Friendly fast service. Will eat there again, big menu.

Service and food is extremely delicious. I'm visiting after not having been in town for 12 years, and they made a town and area that felt different feel like home read more

Delicious fresh food. Nice service. Very patient & polite, even when u call late. Best in town.

Nice people but I ordered the sesame shrimp and they put tiny shrimp fried in big batter balls. Disappointing.

It has really changed since the new owners took over. It was good when the previous owners had it and now it's great! Still the best Chinese food in Pequannock but still falls a little short of my favorite in Wayne. I like the fact that based on your order they give you something free. That's a nice added touch! read more

First time back to this spot since the virus thing. Think the place changed hands, no familiar faces. One word: Gross! Not going back.....

This has been our go-to take out Chinese restaurant for 30 years. Have tried others in Wayne and have not been as satisfied. One note to the owners: bring back your old dumplings - the ones we got last Thursday night were not nearly as good. read more

Even though I placed my order over the phone, and then went there 20 minutes later, they DIDNT even START to cook it till I got there, so much for calling ahead... Ordered Sesame shrimp, yuck... Was "sweet". Coated in syrupy coating, did not see one sesame seed. Sesame shrimp should not be sweet. Shrimp & Broccoli was just "ok" Our usual place was closed today so we gave this one a shot, wont make that mistake again... read more

Food was not good at all. We tried about 5 dishes as we haven't had take out in months and our normal Chinese food is closed. I was very turned off to see STAFF DOES NOT WEAR MASKS WITHIN THE STORE. I will never be back read more

Diarrhea spot! got me again last night. Won't be going back. Stay away or stock up on anti-diarrhea meds!

This is an update. My reviews generally focus on food, rather than service. And because this is a take-out establishment, I haven't considered this, until recently. In short, their approach to service has become disappointing, and here's why: If I were asked which - of all cuisines - was the most flexible and easy to tailor to a customer's wishes, I'd have to answer Chinese. The addition (or omission) of one ingredient or another can go a long way to please paying patrons. We've found that, over the last few months, their desire to please the customer, by making minor menu changes seems to have evaporated. But restaurants are about competition. I'll return to the other take-out places that have no trouble making little changes, for their customers. The food at Golden Jade remains excellent, as is the selection. read more

It is very good and unlike other places near by they actually get your order right.. the place across the road can't seem to do that .. they are on time and don't take and hr or more for delivery either like the place across the street .. read more

Best Chinese food in the Pompton Plains area! I'd definitely recommend them! Their sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken are amazing!

This is the best Chinese in the area. Try the Chow Fun or the beef on a stick appetizer. It is a bit busy at rush hour or sunday so have patience but you will not be disappointed. Take out only. read more

This is the best Chinese food. The place has been here for 30+ years. It's my home away from home. I don't know what the one reviewer is complaining about must have had an off day. But, nevertheless, this place is my go to Chinese comfort food. read more

Crap take out, food low quality for max profits. Have lived here 8 yrs and this place tried it about 4 times since, not sure why I ever went back after a first time, I found each time I was disappointed, food too much sauce, and sugar and in small portions w/high prices, food not made that well, ingredients taste low quality too. Had better in the mall food court! I'd decided I'm no longer to eat from there. I've been going ever since to Hunan China in Lincoln park, it has MUCH BETTER quality and it is worth the little extra drive to go get it..... read more

Really really bad. It's hard for me to give 1 star when someone is trying but its bad. Food stinks. The family that runs it can barely understand English and have never been able to find my house even though I live across the street. No credit cards accepted. The place is kinda schevatz. The only positive is that they are a hard working family trying to make a living. That gets them 2 stars. read more

A fast and delicious take out restaurant in this area. The staffs are very friendly. I ordered G' Tso chicken and fried rice. I love them. The chicken was just right spicy and crispy. The portion of dishes is well, too. I will definitely come back again. It will become my regular take out spot. read more

My favorite Chinese place! It's been a little different with new owners that took over but it's still great!!

I'm a Chinese food fanatic. I can eat it every day. Unfortunately, my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area is closed on Tuesday and I had a hankering. So I figured I would try Golden Jade. Unfortunately, this will be the first and last time. I ordered steamed pork dumplings. The dumplings were pasty in taste and the filling was heavy, with little of no spice or taste at all. The sesame shrimp was passable but the coating was not crisp at all and fell off while eating. Boneless spare ribs which usually have some sweetness to them, had none. The pieces were very large, parts were uncooked and it was very chewy chewy. Pork low mein also had little taste and pieces of pork that were not fully cooked. Finally, the General Tso's chicken had the same fate as the sesame shrimp - lack of crispness and spice. Unfortunately, I will have to search elsewhere for solid quality Chinese food. read more

I ordered steamed vegetables with brown rice and sauce on the side. They charged $9.50 which is $2 more than any other chinese restaurant in this area. There isn't any meat in this dish and it was mostly cheap broccoli and bok choy so I don't know why they charge so much. The brown sauce on the side was very small. I threw it out anyway because it didn't taste good. Rip off. read more

This place has great, fast, friendly service. The owners have the best personality. The food is usually ready in about 10-15 minutes.

I have started ordering from Golden China but my husband ordered from Golden Jade recently. This was our first and last. The rice is yellow and doesn't compare to the regular pork fried rice. Also I had my usual chicken and broccoli and found a LONG hair in my food. Was disappointed. read more

Not sure what the other reviews experienced, but my family has been going to Golden Jade for about 20 years. I haven't noticed any change in service or quality in that time, though the restaurant changed hands from aunt and uncle to niece and nephew a few years ago. It's still the best Chinese take out in the area. In fact, I know many people who come from surrounding towns because it's the best around. As for the General Tso chicken, we like to order extra spicy, extra crispy. It's amazing! read more

Tried this place twice. Twice I said never again. Fried rice was not cooked, just assembled from a variety of sub-par ingredients. General Tso chicken was way too sweet, not spicy, and the chicken was gross. It had hard lumps and grizzle. Yuck! Wonton soup. Fail. Heavy lemon flavor. Now I say officially NEVER AGAIN. read more

This worse food we have tasted. Had it delivered. Food smelled smokey and soggy. Needless to say it went directly into the trash. Disgusting. Save your money read more

Yeah, this place is great. I've been going there since I was a kid and it's the same family that owns it now. This is the best Chinese food around and the delivery is super fast! read more

Quick friendly service.. Quality Chinese at great price

This was the first and last time I ordered. The meat in my Chicken Broccoli was SO veiny and gummy that it was like chewing bubblegum. I only ate 2 pieces of the meat before I could not take it anymore. The wonton soup had no taste. It was water with yellow food coloring. The dough was very hard and hardly had any meat. Overall, I will never go back to this place. It has ruined my appetite for Chinese food. read more
