After saying "we need to go there" at least 30 times, we finally went there and boyyy howdy it did not disappoint! The Cuban and club were 10/10 perfect! The bread was so fresh, crispy where it needed to be, and buttery in all the right places. It was a perfectly balanced sandwich ratio, not too thick, not too thin, and came with chips or potato salad. The in-house beer is great, and there's something for anyone's tastes, plus non alcoholic options. We sat outside with our pups on the dog friendly patio, which is fully covered and shaded, with tons of great seating options. I recommend going into the shop and seeing every thing they have to offer that isn't listed on the menu, plus the GREAT beer tap and can selections they have in store!

Handsome Dans was on our list because of all the online and social media hype. It's tucked away in…read morethe back next to Stargazer in a brewery/ warehouse off Springdale and Airport area. The parking is shared and gets packed in the evening or you have to pay to park if you are unable to find anything in the lot or on the street. Handsome Dans has a sign directing you to the back where they are located. The vibe is true to a bait shop/diner it's casual with a rustic feel, they have a large covered patio adjacent to Stargazer bar. I highly suggest sitting outside if possible because the inside does get a bit claustrophobic and smokey when it's packed and they are smashing paninis on the press with no proper kitchen overhead vents. The type of greasy smoke you get when you are making super buttery sandwiches on a hot press. The sandwiches are ok but not something I would go out of my way to have ,our kids liked the hotdogs and Frito pies which were also kind of "upper class" gas station quality. Most of the stuff here is food that probably tastes way better after drinking several beers. It's like any normal sandwich you could make at home and toss in a panini press to be honest. Really good beers on tap and friendly staff who seemed to disappear to the back quite a bit and came back confused. They didn't know if they had already given me my food because I was ordering and paying for extra food after more people in our party arrived. They literally saw my food I already had on the table from my previous order and thought they gave me double of what I ordered hahaha. I can't make a judgment because I have no clue what they kept dispersing to the back for but can just say the confusion was real, LOL. All together if I had to come back it be because someone I knew wanted to try it. Otherwise for me it's a one and done. I got the pictures I stood next to a sign ,I had the Signiture sandwiches, now I'm moving on. I can say I've been there done that. I'm guessing that a college crowd or just being a single person who just wants to be amongst people that this is the type of lowkey place to go if you're not into the typical Longhorn hangouts. You stop in ,have some beers, eat a low budget ingredient expensive panini sandwich and chill till you have to call yourself a Waymo cause the beer is good and strong.

This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

BOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!…read more If you can help it, absolutely DO NOT use this joke of a shopping experience if you are shopping online or if you need anything IMPORTANT and you are RELYING on their commitment to logical thinking and Custer service satisfaction. Ha!!!!! I have not ever dealt with a situation like this before so I am a little disgusted that it dropped the ball and how they handled their end is a joke. Walmart is a joke. I ordered a new tablet. Yeah. No big deal, right? WRONG I bought my last tablet there. An Onn 12" tablet. It was beautiful. No problems until it broke. I mean shattered but it was our fault. So we bought another one....this time we went online to make our purchase because we lost our only vehicle on Christmas eve and this is the only way to pick up items we need. Ordered items from Walmart two years ago at Christmas time and did not have one problem but I was in Houston and dealing with another location. Of course i have issues with my local store. We place our order after dropping over $200 for it and it said it would take a couple of days. No problem. So today is the fourth day. I asked my fiance to check his email for any updates.... We received an email from Walmart starting they had cancelled my order. No reasons given. No department to contact. No list of available options for me to follow up on. oh and they included that my money wouldn't be available to me for 7 - 10 business days so buying another one anywhere else was not an option for me either!!!!!!

Then you have to find someone to look up the price or put yourself in the line with the one cashier in the whole store so they can look up pricing for you. No pricing started a few months ago so because of convenience it used to be a regular stop now I go maybe once a month instead of two or three times a week. There are some things I need there, but for the most part H-E-B and other stores feel the need. Is it possible to just write it the most annoying place to shop on earth?

On this visit, I was looking for a mix of random items: Italian dressing, travel-sized products, milk, and lawn and leaf bags. While I found most of what I needed, I noticed the Italian dressing on the shelf was expired, so I'd recommend checking expiration dates! That is something I sometimes forget to do when I'm in a hurry. My assumption is that it is post Christmas (12/28) so maybe they were waiting for a new shipment to arrive. It was the only one left on the shelf. On the bright side, I was able to snag some post Christmas clearance items, like Christmas cards, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a typical Walmart visit, with a few highs and lows. Nothing spectacular, but it gets the job done when I'm in a pinch.
