Visited this Walmart on a weekday morning to pick up some groceries. It was pretty busy, but we were able to find everything we needed! The floors were clean, and there were plenty of bags to place vegetables/fruit in. Towards the back, there's a rack with discounted pastries; we say baguettes (white and wheat, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, some cookea, and muffins! Would highly recommend checking it out to save some money! The self check-out was easy to use, and there was an attendant nearby to help customers if needed. read more

A decent enough shopping experience, this Walmart was clean and reasonably stocked. There were a few sections - personal care and bread - that had some missing merchandise but I found the stuff I needed without too much bother. This is a large store with a full grocery section as well as the usual dry goods including clothing, electronics, toys, home & garden, automotive and sporting goods. Good morning Walmart. Checking in to see about your improvements today. Nice to see the general service staff is making the efforts to cleanup all that mess the locals created the night prior. It's always a stir when I arrive. They are all doing a tremendous job shuffling the floor clean and helping people like me who can't find anything in the store. So the guy in the hot food area doesn't like his job. Twice I have walked towards the area to buy hot food but he walked off. The first time he stayed in the back as I stood there looking directly at him. The second time, I just looked at the hot food it wasn't much put up so it's possible be went to get more but again he didn't come back up front. No big issue I normally shop at HEB in Elgin ( because the food is better and customer service is as well) but he could at least say "Hey I need to check on something I'll be right back." More training is needed and should be done before HEB in Manor is built. I'm sure ppl will still shop at Walmart but maybe less with the new clothing and food selections coming soon. read more

Yikes. How moronic is it to have door greeters but several adjacent aisles of locked- up items behind glass and you can't find anyone to unlock? When you do, you must immediately conclude your shopping as they have to escort you to the checkout, where they stand by and watch you until it's fully paid for. Oh wait, they are outside watering the wilting overheated plants. Nope. Not that either. Just how much money does Walmart burn thru because of incompetent management. This is the second worst Walmart I've ever experienced. On weekends the self checkout lines wend their way to the back of the store and it takes forever to get your purchases out the door. Stock people are constantly in the way. One of my peeves with Walmart is the scan and go app. Unlike the SamsClub app, you cannot simply scan your items and show your digital receipt at the door to leave - you have to go to a self check out terminal and scan the QR code there, totally defeating the purpose of using your phone to check out. you should avoid this place. read more

Do not even bother to try yo buy makeup at this Walmart. Everything is behind locked glass cases and video monitored (I can respect that, however there is absolutely NO "call for help" button or any way to find an associate without either having to search the store or go up to the registers. Then, you can not carry, scan or bag your own purchases. So frustrating and frankly it is degrading. I was persistent, and noticed 4 other costumers get upset and decide not to purchase. read more

This store is absolutely terrible. The workers genuinely look confused when you ask them to help with something outside of using their key code. I spent 40 minutes with 3 different employees trying to use 2 gift cards that were active with funds and the workers were absolutely unhelpful. Finally the manager came over and was able to use them but offered no apology at all for the inconvenience. The workers do not care about helping customers and will only provide you with a frustrating experience. Absolutely do not shop here!!! read more

Came to pick up groceries on my way back from a long day at work. I ordered ahead on the app. I check in at #6, it's been 40 minutes and I have a guy gets his stuff first when he parked after me. Went inside the store to speak to a manager around 7:35 pm and she tells me to go knock at their door to let them know I'm here. WHAT?? Absolutely nonsense. And told her "Now why would I go knock at a door if it's curbside pickup from the app, a service Walmart provides!" This is such an inconvenience. Thought it would make it easy for me but instead it made my night long ! Then she made me drive back to my spot and I'm still here for another 20 minutes. Some of these people are a joke. read more

This Wal-Mart is the cleanest and most well-stocked, too. I drive from East Austin to this location for the best experience ever. There is one person to avoid in weekday mornings though. One greeter is unhappy often. She yelled when I entered the wrong door by mistake. "Can't you read?" she asked. "Yes, and I teach reading, too," I replied "Well, the sign above the door says EXIT." "O, I didn't look up. I will look UP next time." "Whatever!" I realized I upset her. I wished she'd spoken more kindly and remembered I was a loyal customer. Still, this store is the cleanest, most well-stocked, and well-lit. (By LIT I mean the lighting, not in the 420 Austin way.) read more

I am a disabled veteran. I like leaning on the cart , that coupled with the number of bad drivers who go too fast in parking lots causes me to always use a shopping cart. I've found people slow down for the cart not the person. I always try to park near a cart return get a shopping cart and return it when I'm done. Today the greeter person at this Walmart wanted to take my cart since "You only have one bag". He Actually started to take it as I kept walking and seemed to want to shame me for using it. For being a Walmart, it's fairly clean and not too crazy of a crowd. They have little selection of everything, but they don't have a huge selection of everything. The store will probably have what you're looking for but if you're looking for fancy organic groceries it has a limited selection. However we have bought it gluten-free and organic groceries here just not a wide selection. It's a Walmart store in the middle of Texas- going to be what you expected. I will say I've been to some pretty crazy Walmarts and this one isn't too bad. read more

Avoid curbside. I was unable to go inside due doctor recommended self isolation. I waited 1.5 hours on groceries that never came. Called multiple times and was assured by management it was coming. Eventually got a refund after waiting another 45minutes on the manager. This is an absolute joke. read more

***This is for the Auto Service Center.**** The short of it is they were supposed to check fluids, etc as part of my vehicle's oil change package and they did not because I had to bring it back. I had already called and kindly asked if they could top off my fluids and check the bulbs. The manager said sure thing and no biggie, right? So, I bring it in and they are super slow for this location as it's usually packed, so I was jazzed! The now different manager says "if ya wanna go buy the windshield fluid we'll be happy to top it off for ya." (LOL. Oh my!) I passively reply, "Nah, you go ahead and I appreciate your sense of humor." Totally thought he was kidding. Went and shopped... came back and they claim my oil cap under the hood is needing to be replaced, the wiper fluid reservoir is cracked therefore no fluid is remaining and thus no fluid. Not true- I looked and filled with water and held plenty. Cap- fine as well. They go on to recc. my rear pass. tire be replaced obviously not reading their own notes where they took it off and replied it was too damaged to replace (?wtheck?) and proceeded to put back on and unbalanced terribly. THIS I had erased from my mind b/c of the sheer magnitude of mindlessness- it was draining to even think about the 30 min excuse of why they couldn't do it. Blah Blah Blah... They charge me $4.50 and I purchased something and didn't catch the charge until now. LMAO. I get it back next time I go get anything but something for my ride! This location used to be on point, but it's consistently getting to be a burden- like I'd rather pay double to know I don't have to interact with them and wonder if they did any thing at all or just typed in the norm. I wrote it humor style b/c it overall is minor, but the disregard for another person's time and flat out lying is more than enough to keep me away and sharing this. Walking in to the store the Greater they are so nice I met a nice older gentleman who took the time to remember are faces and say hit to us and shake my husbands hands when we came in again. Very Clean store! Every time I have been here in the last month ( 5 times ) because its closest store to my house. Pharmacy has been great to me so far during my transferring my medication over to this Walmart. Photo department has been a hit or miss for me one time I went there was no one in the department and I waited a while and no one came then next time they were there when I walked up I will have to keep you posted on this. Grocery department has been well stocked and easily to maneuver around Customer Service Department I had to return a fish take I bought it had a crack in it and they gave me now problems about it it was a Easy return and cashback. Only problem was there was 5 of us in line and only 1 customer service rep. But to be honest she moved right thru us with ease. My only complaint about this store is when you get to check stands area its always so hot up there I break out in to a sweat ( Literally sweat dripping down my forehead while be checked out ) I did call the store to tell them this issue but when I went to the store a few days later same issue. Its weird rest of the store is comfortable temperature but that front line of check stands feels about as hot as it is outside read more

Outside of the fact that I really hate Wal-mart and all that it stands for...this one is nice. I had no options and needed what I had to get before leaving town and was running super late. They were the only folks that would have it. They were really clean (as it should be, it's new). So, if you're in Manor and in need...you'll find nice folks here that's for sure. I couldn't find the darn eye drops I was looking for...as an FYI to everyone, they are near the adult nutrition section of the pharmacy / beauty area...weird. read more

Well I have never been a big fan of the chain stores, at all...But being this is close to home, we had to check it out...Most things that come with Walmart are here too...2 registers open, but had a least 6 self check out open...Also the employees, far and few between and not once were we greeted while walking the store, another thing they are famous for. We checked out a few prices of some of our daily use item, just to find out they were more expensive then HEB, also A LOT of holes thru out the store. Over heard a customer asking to get some paint, only to find out the paint counter isn't open yet..They were out the beer we looking for, simple Bud Light in Bottles, nothing hard to keep in stock, its a very popular brand, from what I hear. The one thing we did buy were some of the new Cookie Dough Oreo. Off to HEB to get the beer, and low and behold..Cookie Dough Oreo were a $1 cheaper with a coupon...We may shop here on a whim, but this wont be a destination place to shop.. read more

We did our monthly grocery shopping online and went to pick it up. This was so easy and nice. The young man who brought our groceries out was great. He had a really nice smile and was very helpful. If they don't have an item you order, they find something similar. If you like it great, if not they will take it back and deduct the cost. The very few items they substituted were great. Walmart employees did a great job, and I am going to do my monthly shopping this way from now on. This was a great and easy shopping experience. read more

This is our favorite Walmart location and we frequent regularly (usually late night or early morning to avoid crowds which can make these stores unpleasant.) The shelves are always kept nicely stocked and the produce is good. This included the clearance section which was neatly organized, something I've never seen before at any Walmart. The service stood out two different times for us. The first time we had to make a return which was a quick and easy process. The other time was when the debit/credit card reader went down and the employees raced to open a new register and redirect the line in an organized manner. I am 80 years old and have been shoping at this Walmart since it was built. I went in the other day to pickup a few things and when I tried to checkout there was no one to assist me at the new self check out. I finally left the cart in the middle of the self checkout area as there is no longer a employee check out. I guess Walmart does not care about the elderly or handicapped and wants customers to do the work for them. I tried to call the store Manager three times the first two times they hung up on me and the third time they would not answer the phone. Walmart you rocked my Canadian world! Let me explain... Saturday July 1st 2017 also know as Canada day I was on my way to work from austin. I decided to stop in austin at a major grocery store (who shall not be named) to pick up some cheese curds to make "poutine" --a delicious dish from my country consisting of cheese curds, gravy, and french fries. To my disappointment this grocery store could not deliver! I left sad and angry, my Canada day was ruined! On my way into work/Manor decided to stop by your store. I thought "this is a long shot but what the heck?!" Has I walked into the grocery part of the store and made my way to the cheeses I though I'm just waist of time here. However has I looked down at the cheese selection I spotted these little bags of you guessed it! Not just cheese curds, but white cheese curds!!! Rejoice!!!! My Canada day was saved!!!! I will over look the fact that you only had 3 bags, I did buy all 3 by the way. So for this Walmart you've saved this little Canadian girls Canada day and I am forever great full! I think the one thing that makes me debate going to this walmart is human traffic. It tends to always have an extensive line. Between the daily loud mom yelling at a staff member; or the offers for tamales in the parking lot. I have to say its always entertaining to go here. If your in a rush dont go here. I think the staff really tries but the constant buisness and the lack of staff get them frustrated. If you need something go here but go when you have time you may be waiting a while. read more

Omg... this place.. Walmart in general is sooo bad - but this is the only place in Manor so I am forced to go here. Every time I come here it eats up an extra 30 minutes. This time? Apparently when you put your gift cards near phones or credit chips it deactivates it...!?! What!!? So I had to be checked out at 3 different locations and then sent to customer service. Not to mention I have to come back with a receipt for one of my gift cards cause it's completely out for some reason (i just got it the day before for a return).
