I am a 21 handicapper and I am keenly aware that my issues are largely due to poor fundamentals; however what stood out the most was Kohlin's ability to study my swing and understand both the strengths and challenges of my game. Kohlin focused on what I do well, helping me build confidence in those areas. Equally important, Kohlin offered thoughtful and simple solutions to mitigate the aspects of my swing that need improvement without overwhelming me with a thousand swing thoughts. They had quite a variety of sporting goods relating to baseball, football, and disc golf. It would be nicer if the store would be a bit bigger. There is decent parking in a shopping center area. In a super convenient location only a few minutes south of the Westlake location. Lots of parking as it's in a little strip mall. Location itself is huge inside. Have 4 bays all equipped with the high tech video systems and soundproof walls. Now I'm sure picture quality and computerization of your swing and tracking the motion of your follow through by computers is pretty cool but only to very avdvid golf enthusiasts. I mean after getting the grand tour. I was like come on really??? Look most people who live and breathe golf love to go play the course be outside clear their head find your strengths and weaknesses on the course and make mental adjustments I don't know anybody who would go in on the regular to critique his golf swing on a simulated Booth with a glorified projector screen it just doesn't make much sense to me in a business aspect until I found out how much they were charging for each Booth it's $50 an hour for each booth and booths on second story or $75 an hour then there are little lockers to put your stuff kind of like lifetime fitness it's all very dark marble there's a VIP room at the top and a bar at the bottom and I'm like just so very confused when I went in there they have retail golf clothes and equipment for sale . California seems to be more of a Yeti state and I didn't once see accessorized tumblers there. Anyway, I'm catching up. I decided to go retro 80s with mine since I'm an 80s baby and I purchased a 40 oz Stanley Hyper Geo Tumbler to get the vibe going...setting my online purchase pickup for this location. It was ready within a matter of minutes. YESSSSS! But when I got to the location, I couldn't tell what was the front of the store, the side of the store, the back of the store. One side even had black plastic tarp of some sort covering all of the window s from floor to ceiling on the inside, confusing me as if it were a closed location under renovation. Once I called, I was prompted to keep driving all the way around the building to the "Macy's side" of the store and voila...found it. Walked up to the cash register for help and he followed me over to pickup, checked my name and I was good to go. I can't speak on what service is like outside of online orders, but the process for the online order was SUPER quick and fairly smooth. REMEMBER: The entrance is on the Macy's side.
