He helped me order it and had it shipped to my house. The salesman went above and beyond to help me out and made sure I was a satisfied customer. The icing on the cake was, the hoodie was on sale and free shipping! It was a great deal. The zip up hoodie was delivered 2 days later. It fit perfectly and looks great. The quality of the hoodie is great. It's very well made and very comfortable to wear. Great value all the way around.

This was during Christmas. I did not buy a lot just a few items. Dicks does not give you any warning before at all. I have $200 sneakers I cannot exchange size a little too big. There were 2 cashiers for about 15 people (most were behind me by the time I got to one. He told me he'd have someone meet me back there. I got back there, no one! Two women were folding clothing and ignored me. Finally someone got this great guy Bryan to help me. We got my bike (which was on sale) and he cut the long line at the cashiers and checked me out. He offered to help me put it in the car too. Very helpful. The store is severely understaffed. If you can find what you want and get it up front, you're OK. But it's very difficult to get help. Review from 2018: Academy doesn't have a very good selection of tennis gear, but I guess that's based on demand. They do have great deals on decent clothing, often reduced to excellent prices. Recently I bought decent baseball caps and t-shirts for $4.99 each! Needed a couple of bikes for young grandchildren. They had a sale. One side even had black plastic tarp of some sort covering all of the window s from floor to ceiling on the inside, confusing me as if it were a closed location under renovation. Once I called, I was prompted to keep driving all the way around the building to the "Macy's side" of the store and voila...found it. Walked up to the cash register for help and he followed me over to pickup, checked my name and I was good to go. I can't speak on what service is like outside of online orders, but the process for the online order was SUPER quick and fairly smooth. REMEMBER: The entrance is on the Macy's side.

I asked if they could simply allow me to exchange it for other merchandise, but again stuck to their policy. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I had to wait more than 30 days for the adapters to mount the suppressor on the PCC, but I never went back and told them to cancel that order so I could purchase somewhere else. I was very patient and respectful with them while I waited. While I am not a huge customer, I will no longer be a customer.

We attempted to return the items before he had to fly out, but the store is closed on Sundays. At that point, we were told the return was refused because it was outside of their 30-day return policy. What's frustrating is that the policy does not reasonably account for store closures and holidays. This was not an abused return--everything was new and unused. When I called back to calmly explain the situation and ask if there was any flexibility, I was laughed at and told I was wrong. That response was unprofessional and upsetting. I expected better customer service from a company I've supported for years. Policies are one thing, but how customers are treated matters just as much. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future.

He found me someone who was very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond looking up then going through the store room to find the kit for me. I'm incredibly grateful because I wanted to get the hot tub ready for a sister day I'm going to have tomorrow. They really allowed me to elevate our get together.

We live in the city and often times, especially when things are on sale, stock can be limited at the locations nearest us in South Austin. This location always ends up being a short and quick drive south to get what we need. Plenty of space for parking and never have an issue navigating in and out of this area. The parking lot is spacious and plenty of space to not make you feel like you are parking really far from the entrance. The store is always super clean and help is just an ask away and not far as the employees here take great care in providing service and helping you out on finding the thing you came here for. Academy is all about value and savings so I appreciate the willingness to price match on things I have seen other stores, in the area, provide so I know I can come here and get exactly what I need at a fair price.

We didn't even see a price tag/ label for them on the shelves. I do work near this Target in Bee Cave, and saw they carried them in store. Maybe I'll have better luck at this location. But what I really wanted was their night time one. Sadly, they did not. And I checked to see if there was a place for them on their shelves. And I didn't see a place for them. Also on the Target website they show they are $13.99 but the store shows them $19.99 on sale for $18.99. So there's a whole mess up with these. They don't have the different ones, even though it shows they do. And the price is different. I'd much rather buy them from Target to try them out. Rather than the Alice website, as they want you to be a subscriber or you have to buy a 2 pack. If it doesn't work for me, why would I buy 2 at $59.00 plus shipping cost? Other than that.
