The service manager set me up with a technician named Ty. Ty repaired my damaged tire, gave me an assessment of the condition of the rest of my tires and within ten minutes I was back on the road -- for an extremely reasonable price. I look forward to returning to this location.

However, they did not put my center caps back on the wheels that they changed the tires for, and I did not realize until I was an hour away back home (im a student in the area). Customer…read moreservice desk was prompt to welcome me & were helpful in assessing my needs - both verbally & after a visit outside to my vehicle. They didn't "upsell" me at all, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The young man who swapped my rims/tires did a great job & was very friendly. However at some point, he was pulled away by his peers to work on another vehicle that had been brought in by a tow truck. It's a very busy garage....my vehicle was left unattended, raised on the lift, for about 30-mins before he was able to return to my project. All in all the process took about 2-hours from arrival to leaving. Though I was pleased, it was unfortunate that the workers seem to be pulled in multiple different for for directions, unable to focus entirely on 1-vehicle at a time.

I brought my vehicle to Arlington Auto & Tire for a routine oil change and left with a damaged car…read more The oil change was performed incorrectly, which resulted in damage that I then had to deal with at my own expense. What has been even more disappointing is the way the situation was handled afterward. Despite bringing the issue to their attention and requesting that they take responsibility, they have refused to provide a refund or adequately address the damage caused by their work. Mistakes can happen in any business, but customer service is measured by how those mistakes are corrected. Instead of standing behind their service, Arlington Auto & Tire has left me with repair costs and frustration. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop and would encourage others to carefully document any work performed on their vehicle. I am extremely dissatisfied with both the quality of the service and the lack of accountability shown after the damage occurred.

They lifted my car up, took the tires off, and tried to upsell me on $800 new brakes (the guy claimed he would give me a deal). I said no thank you. The guy then said if I didn't get new wiper blades, he would put into the system that my vehicle failed the NY state safety inspection for worn-out wiper blades. I had recently replaced the wiper blades myself and I knew they were totally fine. This place is an utter scam, and apparently this is a well-known trap that Mavis does (I wish I had Googled it before) to exploit customers and fleece more money from you. The root cause ended up being a missing NVH foam piece - something simple, but overlooked repeatedly. Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.
