The root cause ended up being a missing NVH foam piece - something simple, but overlooked repeatedly. Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

I called State Farm once again and within two minutes I received a notification from Delarms Auto Body they will be here within 10 minutes. In less than 10 minutes the truck pulls up and the gentleman was able to change my tire and put my spare on. Without their help there was no way that tire was coming off the car. He had to use a four-way wrench with a pipe extension to put enough force to get the Lugnuts off the vehicle. I would've never been able to make that repair on the roadside especially on a dark one lane road. Delarms were quick and professional. If you in a jam give these guys a call. I had a deeply disappointing experience at Haviland Auto Repair on April 21, 2025, around 3:45 PM,…read moreand I feel compelled to warn others about the unprofessional behavior of the owner, Scott DeLucca, and his uncle. I walked in for a New York State vehicle inspection, a service they advertise, but from the moment I arrived, Scott was dismissive. He immediately assumed, "You're probably here for an inspection, that's the only time you come," which set a negative tone. Before I could even respond, his uncle chimed in, bringing up an irrelevant issue about tires I supposedly didn't pick up two or three years ago. What does that have to do with my inspection? Absolutely nothing. It felt like a deliberate attempt to shame me and avoid doing their job. I expected to be treated with respect as a customer, but instead, Scott and his uncle teamed up to make me feel unwelcome. They didn't offer to inspect my vehicle, nor did they provide an appointment, which they are legally required to do under New York State law (§ 79.8(c)--if they can't inspect your vehicle right away, they must offer an appointment within eight days). Instead, their hostile attitude left me with no choice but to walk out--it genuinely felt like they threw me out for no reason other than their own bad attitudes.
