First for new tires, which Nick the owner showed me about 4 different "levels" of tires I could opt for. He called the lowest end ones "black circles with holes in 'em", but said he was more than happy to put those on if I'd like. He didn't try to upsell me anything. He showed me what the options were and gave me all the info he could to help me make my own informed decision. I chose the next level up of tires and they were very affordable to me, someone who makes very little money. i asked him if they did other work on cars and he said they did pretty much everything. Over the years I have taken this car in for various issues. Everything from replacing a section of the exhaust to mysterious check engine problems. Every single time, Nick was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. I'm also used to be being talked down to at garages, because I'm a slender young guy with music gear always in my car. No one there ever made me feel stupid or uncomfortable. They've all been straight up and just helpful. Nick and his people understand that working with a customer in need to help them find the most affordable option that will get them the strongest results is much more valuable than trying to make the quickest, biggest buck. They didn't "upsell" me at all, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The young man who swapped my rims/tires did a great job & was very friendly. However at some point, he was pulled away by his peers to work on another vehicle that had been brought in by a tow truck. It's a very busy garage....my vehicle was left unattended, raised on the lift, for about 30-mins before he was able to return to my project. All in all the process took about 2-hours from arrival to leaving. Though I was pleased, it was unfortunate that the workers seem to be pulled in multiple different for for directions, unable to focus entirely on 1-vehicle at a time.

Despite bringing the issue to their attention and requesting that they take responsibility, they have refused to provide a refund or adequately address the damage caused by their work. Mistakes can happen in any business, but customer service is measured by how those mistakes are corrected. Instead of standing behind their service, Arlington Auto & Tire has left me with repair costs and frustration. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop and would encourage others to carefully document any work performed on their vehicle.
