Was told he wouldn't work on it and to have it towed away to another shop citing that there were "too many cars in line" "people are always calling and interrupting me while I'm working". When picking up the car I tried to explain that I was only calling because of the timeline they gave me and the owner shouted at me threatened to fight me in the office?! I took it to Sharp Transmissions because of the reviews and its a transmission shop. I work on my truck as much as I possibly can but dealing with repairing a transmission is out of my wheel house. I dropped off the truck in the morning and I got a call about 2 hours later. Milt told itme he had inspected the car test drove and it was not the tranny it was the power steering pump that had a small not noticeable leak but the fluid resevoir was almost dry and that was the noise I was hearing coming from the truck. He added power sterring fluid and solved the problem but let me know it something that will need attention down the road. I thanked him I picked up my truck later that evening. Drove the truck home ran like a charm. I will certainly take it to him again when I need work done. The AAA tow truck operator asked me where I wanted it to be towed, and I immediately said "Sharp Transmission." The dropped it off and put the key in the after hours slot. Next day,I called Milt and said, take a look and give me my options. No rush, I said, since I have other cars I can drive. Milt and his crew found some time to not only diagnose the problem (two rubbng hoses put a hole in one), but to repair the problem. Same day! I picked the car up this morning and it is working perfectly. Like I said before, if you are not taking your car to Sharp, you should start doing so. So I called Joe at Meineke. Come right in, he said. Joe and crew got me in and out the same day, with no appointment; and dealt with the warranty company so all I had to pay was the deductible. This isn't the first time Joe has helped me out on short notice, by the way. He always does his best to get you scheduled and your car repaired as soon as possible. He also has good mechanics working for him, so the work gets done right. This shop also provides loaner cars if needed, which is a rare thing these days. I didn't need one because I had nowhere to go anyway, but I was repeatedly offered one. In a nutshell, highly recommended.

"Known issues with the 2020 Ford Escape rear differential/AWD system primarily involve clutch binding, fluid leaks, sensor failures, and inadequate factory lubrication that can cause the rear axle to seize.
