THEY WILL DO GREAT BY YOU…read more I come from a working class family and have driven lower end cars my whole driving life. I started taking my 2000 VW Passat wagon to them a few years ago. First for new tires, which Nick the owner showed me about 4 different "levels" of tires I could opt for. He called the lowest end ones "black circles with holes in 'em", but said he was more than happy to put those on if I'd like. He didn't try to upsell me anything. He showed me what the options were and gave me all the info he could to help me make my own informed decision. I chose the next level up of tires and they were very affordable to me, someone who makes very little money. i asked him if they did other work on cars and he said they did pretty much everything. Over the years I have taken this car in for various issues. Everything from replacing a section of the exhaust to mysterious check engine problems. Every single time, Nick was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. I'm also used to be being talked down to at garages, because I'm a slender young guy with music gear always in my car. No one there ever made me feel stupid or uncomfortable. They've all been straight up and just helpful. Nick and his people understand that working with a customer in need to help them find the most affordable option that will get them the strongest results is much more valuable than trying to make the quickest, biggest buck. Nick actually wants to help people.

In fact I had passed it many times over the years. On the way to Stone Ridge. I called up and the lady who answered the phone was very friendly. She asked for all my information. She did ask for my license plate number. Then she was able to look up the year and make and model of the car. I was impressed by that. They seem to be very thorough right away. I told her I needed them to look at the front tires because there was a A vibration from the front tires and some noise coming from the front tire also. I had brought it to a shop down in Rockland County to put on new tires after I got a blowout. I came in and they pull the car into the shop area. One of the employees Kevin introduced himself. He offered me some coffee and showed me in the area where they had a couple of comfortable seats donuts potato chips and some other snacks Soon after they pulled in the car they called me back to take a look at it. Nick the head mechanic had the car up on the lift. He told me that the other shop didn't balance the wheels at all or did them in properly in the front. He also told me that the shop lied when they said that the sensor from the tire had fallen off the front tire and they glued it back on. In fact they broke the sensor when they were doing something with one of the front tires. Instead of cleaning out the tire they left all the junk inside the tire So Nick cleaned it out and balanced the tires .Then another employee took the car for a test drive to make sure everything was OK. I was definitely pleased with thoroughness of the work. The car was coming up on needing to get transmission fluid changed and also the other fluids. Brake fluid Power steering fluid etc. New fuel filter. I made an appointment and brought the car back. Since I live only about 10 minutes away they said they were able to drive me home. Then when the car was done called me and picked me up again. Nick the head mechanic and owner is very knowledgeable and really gave me some good tips on what I should get done and not get done on the car. For example they said that the rotors were warping a little bit, but the brake pads were still good, said to not doing anything yet. I'm sure other shops would've told me, to do the brake pads and rotors. I definitely had a fantastic experience bringing my car here. Nick Kevin and another technician I talked to really know their stuff. Very knowledgeable professional thorough. The prices are very fair as well. Actually lower than I expected them to be. I definitely highly recommend this shop for all your car needs
