Today was a terrible experience for Jess and I. Service was nice, the drive thru Broista was super nice and helpful, we even didn't have to wait in line that long for our drinks before they were brought out to us. That's when things went wrong. I wasted my birthday freebie on one of the most disgusting and disappointing drinks I've ever gotten from Dutch. I ordered a medium iced double torture with white chocolate sauce added and it tasted horrible! Shots were burnt, no vanilla, no white chocolate sauce, even the chocolate milk didn't stand a chance; just burnt coffee flavor! Jess ordered a custom black tea with coconut, peach and strawberry "extra sweet". they used green tea instead of black tea, didn't really add any flavoring and it too, tasted disgusting! I think it's the thing now a days where if you have a group of young 20 somethings working, they don't know how to read tags and they don't make the product like they would if it was made for a friend. Cause if you're giving your friends and co workers the drink quality you gave us, I can see why nobody wants to come back. Absolutely terrible drinks! Just do better y'all! Love the new drinks for the season but I was not a fan of this particular location only because both times I went my drinks tasted watered down. In other locations, drinks are perfect in ratio. The line is always long here which makes sense since it's off the freeway and it's near the police station. Customer service is good and the staff is fun. read more

This place really sucks at controlling their lines. It says pick the shortest line. We were told they had to bounce back and fourth even though others were there first. However, I went through the drive-thru a couple days ago and met a girl named Felicia who was taking my order. Well this s where the "WOW" came in to play.... Her kindness and amazing customer service was over the top incredible and I could not have been more impressed. I am loving the Dutch Bros Coffee locations sprouting up around the area. I have tried almost all of them and I have to say that they have it down. The drinks are consistent in all locations. I tried the location on Akers following an appointment in the area and they did not disappoint. My Salted Caramel Chai was delicious and just the right temperature. I tried the Pumpkin Soft-top which added an entirely different level of flavor to the chai. The service received at Dutch Bros is also consistent. Their staff reminds me of In-N-Out, young, friendly and helpful. DBC locations are mainly drive-thru, but there are walkup windows and outdoor seating only. There are two drive-thru lanes which merge into one so it's important that you pay attention to where you fall in line. read more

This Dutch bros always takes a year. I was extremely satisfied in the beginning but it seems to have gone a bit downhill. The staff stays inside until there is an enormous line and then they try to play catch up. The staff inside talks entirely too much and ends up slacking on their drinks. I've been to many Dutch locations around California and this is the best one. The employees don't do the forced conversions, the drive thru is easy to get in and out of, they always get your order correct, and the drinks are always consistent. If you aren't familiar with Dutch Bros, they aren't a top of the line coffee shop. They're on par with Starbucks but with a lot more variety in drinks, but not in snacks and pastries. They only have muffin tops. Yes, you read that correctly, only the tops of muffins. As far as fast food level coffee/drinks go, this place earns its five stars. read more

Well, this is about the 5th time I've been to this location, and the second time I've gotten an energy drink. I leave tons of 5 star reviews, but it's because I've honestly had a 5 star experience. Not once have I been disappointed, rather surprised each time. I never get the same thing twice, each different experience has honestly been an extremely pleasant one. Today was the Aftershock. Strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and lime. Been going here since they opened and so far; they been great. What I love about this place is that they do their best to make your experience pleasant and fun when you visit. The location they pick is okay. It can be a bit of a pain to get to but I ain't complaining since it isn't that far from my home. There's a variety of drinks you can pick from and most of the workers are pretty knowledgeable on their menu. From what I seen so far, inside and outside the store is pretty clean. Music is always playing, the workers are friendly, and the drinks I had with them has been good. For the price of their drinks though is a bit expensive. Compare to Starbucks, this business is a few dollars more. For example, a large frappuccino is $4.95 (Starbucks) while a large freeze is $7.25 (Dutch Bros) so it's pricy but worth the money considering how big and delicious their drinks are. To everyone complaining about the wait time and getting skipped, what do you expect? Not only they are getting orders in person, they are also taking orders online. And depending what time you arrive, you should be aware of the chaos the workers have to endure. Mistakes will be made and I don't blame them for taking short-cuts to make your drink(s) faster when you keep bugging them about it. If you dislike the wait time so much, go elsewhere or check google times to see how busy they are. I've been going to them before and after rush hour and never had a problem with my drinks. And when they do make a mistake or the drink isn't what I expect, they remake it/make another as long your not being a prick. And yes, some of these workers are indeed high schoolers so I don't see the big deal is. They are doing their best and are learning how to do things and so far; they're doing great! read more

This may be an unpopular opinion, but please stop talking to me at the window. I have yet to meet anyone who likes being chatted up by a 19 year old at 6:30 in the morning. A quick "how are you", "how's your day going", or simply "we're getting that ready for you" is plenty. I'm not antisocial (most of the time), but damn they are over the top. The drive thru set up here is horrible at night, they need to close one lane off so that you don't get cars cutting infront of each other to get to the window first. When cars do start backing up you will get an employee outside to take your order, which unfortunately helped 0 being that they sat and chatted up the car in front of me until it was their turn to drive up to the window! Other than that the employees are generally helpful and nice. Drinks are inconsistent, one day they will be great another subpar. Also, stay away from the Mangonada it tasted like peach not at all like mango. They top it with a little strawberry puree, not chamoy like a true mangonada, and sprinkle about 1/8 tsp of tajin on top. Please Dutch Bros if you're going to try and replicate a drink at the very least invest in one of the main ingredients, chamoy is a must! read more

I've visited twice, both times drinks were not great. First time, service was good, long wait. Second, walked up, waited 30 mins for 2 iced drinks. Everyone got theirs before I did and mine was sitting on the inside counter. It was difficult to get their attention and when I told them it was sitting and now melted they ignored it moved on to the next customer. No apologies, nothing. Not going there again. There is a difference between making a genuine mistake and taking ownership of the issue in order to make it right for the customer than just playing it off and ignoring the customer like there is no issue. I love Dutch bros for their different drinks and for their employees. There are so many options for both coffee and non coffee drinkers alike. The location off Akers has always had amazing customer service and every employee I've come into contact with have had a great disposition and make you feel welcomed. Even when I have a bad day, I know going to Dutch will make it better even in the smallest way. Sometimes the line does get a bit long but what do you expect? It's Dutch bros. Waiting extra time in the drive thru isn't always gonna happen but if you don't wanna wait in it they do have an interior which I love. Highly recommend this Dutch over other ones read more

On June 28th around 0830, I was going to get my free birthday drink. Not only I was disappointed of not getting a "Happy Birthday" but that young lady that took my ordered, was seen mocking a barista that has a stutter. She continued to do so after she saw me witnessing it. She was lucky another employee gave me my drink or I would have given her my two cents. So disappointed and so in disgust.
