I am writing to inform you of a disappointing visit I had to your facility on May 13, 2025, around 8:55 PM. I drove in expecting a brief and speedy visit, but instead was greeted by an unusually unprofessional experience. While waiting in line, the window worker--apparently a young man--had a long personal conversation with the car in front of mine. He gossiped loudly for over 10 minutes and passed a phone back and forth with his coworkers to examine something while occasionally glancing at my vehicle. During this time, my order wasn't even observed and I stood waiting frustrated and perplexed. I didn't exit the drive-thru until 9:13 PM--without receiving any coffee at all. What should have been a brief stop turned into a waste of nearly 20 minutes. While I've had positive experiences at your stores in the past, this level of disregard for customers' time and basic professionalism was truly disappointing. Sadly, this experience has made me hesitant to go back. I would hope that this experience would be taken seriously and used as a way of reemphasizing training in customer service and professionalism. read more

Went here on 9/13 at 3pm. Pulled up to the window had zero greeting. Seemed to take forever for two drinks. We ordered the pumpkin slayer iced rebel and the candied cherry iced rebel. We were handed the drinks with zero interaction not even a have a good day. I can forgive that but both drinks were missing the toppers so they messed up the order as well. My Fiancé and I have been to this location a few times and boy let me tell you the energy that the crew has is extraordinary. The staff from outside to inside are so up beat and so friendly, yesterday we had our first drive thru with our new addition to our family and they offered him a pup cup. He was so thrilled the young man who took our order was super funny and friendly. Just when we thought it ended there with the laughs no way Selina was working the window and wow talk about customer service she was very informative with the drinks and different suggestions for next time as we are new at the whole coffee world. Golden Eagle - Creamy breve featuring bold espresso, half and half, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce, then topped with whipped cream and a caramel sauce drizzle. The wait wasn't horrendous at all and the guy that took my order was fun to talk to. I admit, I was braced for an over caffeinated barista and he was chill and funny. Perfect for pre coffee convo. I ordered the gigantic sized sugar free rebel with sugar free strawberry. (Well, what I said was I'd like the bigger size and ended up with the miniature pool). It was sooooo satisfying!!! Perfect addition to my day but I didn't know I'd be dropping $10. I had a tiny bit of sticker shock, but that's on me for not checking. Our location for coffee when we come into AZ! Located in a shopping center off of Bell. Depending on the time of day they will have both drive thru lanes packed as well as the walk up window. Super friendly staff and great customer service! Hazel nut truffle & Golden eagle are both a must try. Hazel nut truffle is mild in coffee flavor, sweet, and a bit nutty. Golden is a perfect blend of caramel and vanilla. We opted for the cold version so both coffees were blended which is similar to a frap from starbucks. read more

Well...drive on over and drive through.... We had no idea Dutch Bros was a drive in/walk up establishment. Two drive in windows were lined with cars out the kazoo! It reminded us of the Chick-fil-A parking lot back home at lunchtime. Anyhow, the coffee is extra special, so smooth and tasty yet the price is a bit higher than the other leading brands. DUTCH BROS ON 13855 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374 On 02/09/2025 at approximately 1310 hours, I purchased a kids' lemonade drink for my 2-year-old son, as we normally do at the Dutch Bros located at 13855 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. Upon handing him his drink, I noticed two light blue "gummies" at the bottom of the cup and mistakenly assumed they were Boba. I gave the drink to my son. After a few sips and about 30 minutes, I decided to check the drink again. To my horror, I discovered that those two "gummies" were actually two 200mg ibuprofen gel pills at the bottom of his lemonade! I immediately took the drink away from him and reached out to emergency services-Fire Department, Poison Control, and the Surprise Police Department regarding the incident. When we returned to the location, we spoke with the shift manager, who identified herself as Kat (though she was reluctant to give her name) and claimed she had placed the pills in a cup intended for a co-worker during a rush, setting it down in the work area. An unknown employee apparently picked up that cup, filled it with ice and lemonade, and handed it to my son. This is absolutely outrageous! Kat provided no corrective measures or plausible solutions for this catastrophic negligence. The Fire Department responded and conducted vital checks on my son, while a police report was filed with the Surprise Police Department concerning the negligent misuse of a beverage and the reckless handling of anti-inflammatory drugs. This situation has put my child's health at serious risk, potentially causing ulcers, internal bleeding, or severe stomach pain. I strongly urge everyone to exercise extreme caution at this location. Their blatant disregard for public health and safety is alarming, as evidenced by the fact that they nearly poisoned my son! We are currently seeking legal assistance to address this grave incident. This is unacceptable! read more

Soon as I was able to get into the drive thru line someone pulled behind me. So I'm committed now. As I sit here 25 minutes later there are still about 4 cars ahead of me. No one has taken my order. The line next to us is just as stagnant. I can't back out I can go forward. I'm stuck. They have someone taking orders next to the window not back out in line as cars come in to speed the process Sad to say, but this might be my last go around here on a weekend.
