I ordered a hot caramelizer in the drive thru. I didn't realize this place has dual drive thrus, so that is nice to know. But I can see how it could potentially cause issues. Luckily, at 5:30 AM, it wasn't an issue. The lovely young woman standing outside took my order & my payment with card & then I went to the pick up window & paid the balance in cash. The caramelizer was goos. Flavorful. As good as it tasted, I can't say I'd come back. I'm just not a huge coffee gal but I'm glad I tried it out. read more

Don't let that ONE negative review fool you. Today is opening day for this newest Surprise location and you can obviously expect some hiccups. You can't know how some things may go until you have actual customers. If you go anywhere on opening days or test runs you need to bring your patience for sure. We had a busy day today and weren't able to make it over to try out some drinks until mid afternoon around 3pm. Instantly I saw quite a few things I liked. The first thing I noticed was very clear direction on how to get to the drive through area. There is one way in and out which to me is great because you don't have cars coming from every which way causing issues and a designated line of cars being kept out of the way of other businesses causing traffic delays. With that being said be mindful to not turn too quickly or you'll end in a parking area that won't get you to the lanes. You want to drive to the front of the building facing Litchfield. The lot has quite a bit of parking and the walk up area holds seating as well. The line wasn't too long which surprised me, but made me happy too. I was greeted by multiple baristas; all who were so happy to help and welcome us. We were given a few stickers after we ordered our drinks. I was with my kids and ordered a few teas since I'd already had way too much coffee today ha ha . Our drinks were brought out to us quickly and we were on our way with ease even though there was a car still in front of us because they have two lanes to exit. I unfortunately didn't try my tea until I got home and it was very wrong. My fault for not trying it sooner, but honestly Dutch has only messed up a drink for me once or twice ever and fixed it quickly. I decided to drive back and let them know so I could get what I asked for. They were so apologetic and even thanked me for coming back to tell them so they had a chance to correct it and have me leave happy. I appreciate that they didn't make me feel bad. I didn't want to be negative either, but I definitely wanted the drink I was hoping for. My kids drinks were perfect and even with the issue we left happy and thankful for this newest location. By far the best "West Valley" Dutch Bros and best in Surprise by a wide margin. All super friendly and more importantly my drinks are always made correctly. This cannot be said for the other 2 locations in Surprise especially the one across the street from the Chevy Dealership Which fails more than half the time. Who is running this location? I only go to Dutch Bros once a month for their sticker drop. The coffee is growing on me. This one seems to have a high turnover of staff but the early morning crew has definitely been energetic and friendly. I drive thru and they do their best to keep the wait time low. I'm giving 3 stars because I guess it depends on whose working that determines a good or bad drink...I went to this location for the first time yesterday and got a small hot caramel kicker and it was soooo yummy, so I went back this morning for the same exact drink but I ended up with 2 medium drinks instead of small and it tasted like only milk it was not the same yummy sweet caramel kicker from just the previous day and I had to dump it down the sink. Eli, Augie and Sage were friendly and not in the pushy way that most dutch bros employees are. They were so patient with me and my pup when i ordered and received my drinks. I asked if they could hand my pup the pup-cup since my dog is a rescue and warming up to people. I let them know that my dog was clipped down, as to not get beyond the car door. They agreed and I was so happy to see my pup respond so well. Probably wouldn't be possible without their easy going energies. It's rare when I visit Dutch bros but I'm more inclined to go more often now :) read more

I come to this Dutch bros before I'll go to the other 2 locations here in Surprise. Reasons being the lines move much faster and for some reason my drink always taste better from this location. The main reason I come here is the employees. They are amazing! Honestly I cannot say enough how friendly and welcoming they are. To give one example of their most outstanding customer service I'll tell you all about my experience today. I stop in almost every early afternoon to buy a large chocolate crunch cold brew. However i haven't stopped in the past few days because life's been pretty hectic and I'm broke. Anyway today I managed to get enough money to get a small so I stopped in. The girl who took my order could just tell that I was having one of those days. I felt so bad because I couldn't afford to tip her and she was being so nice. Anyway long story short. When I went to pick up my drink she told me it was on them today and she had refunded my money back to my app and than she asked me if I needed a hug Which I gladly accepted and YES I really did need that hug! Like I said I definitely recommend this location. They go above and beyond for their customers! Side note: very clean location read more
