I went this morning, around 9am. Every time I got to any Nékter location, there is a lack of customer service skills. Especially this location. I walk in to an empty store and go to the pick up counter. I make eye contact with a girl in the back and smile but she just stares at me cold. I see her talk to another girl and she just stares at me too and they keep talking. A third girl appears and does the same until she walks out after 3 minutes. I also saw my order and two others just sitting on the counter, not in the fridge where they usually keep pick-up orders to keep cool. She looks at me and walks AWAY from me to the counter and continues to work on other orders and says, "Hii!?!" Loudly and rudely, while not even looking at me. Not a welcome, not a how are you, not a how can I help you. I said I'm here to pick up my order and she grabs it and just thunks it, rudely on the table with no bag. I ask for a bag nicely and she puts it on the counter and walks off to continue what she was doing. No thank you or have a good day. She barely acknowledged me and all of the girls were just blatantly staring at me through the window. Nobody looks or sounds friendly and I'm treated like a nuisance. Never coming back to this location and don't want to go to Nekter again. I usually don't write reviews but after so many bad experiences with them, I think it's time. $13.50 after a tip is overpriced for a bowl and attitude on the side anyways. Good riddance. P.s. Today was a splurge especially with the calories & carbs. :-) This is my first time here and honestly I felt like a treat. The first 3 elite reviews made me follow through. Maria was so patient with me as I figured out what I wanted. I went with a recommendation and ordered an Açaí Mango Bowl with light agave. It was fresh and filling. It's Christmas at nékter with beautiful decor and the music in the background. A good end to the work week. I bought 3 different shots just to try. I'll let you know. My daughter & I wanted to go somewhere for smoothies & found Nekter close by. We viewed their website & hours ahead of time as well. Prior to going; we downloaded & signed up for their app & scored free any 16oz smoothie immediately. Depending on the type, size, add in's if you choose a 16oz will be $8 or more. They also offer detox juice's, shots of ginger & more as well. Service was great & after you place your order someone in the back will make your smoothie's. So... this is my first time at Nekter! It was nice inside. I liked the Nekter sign with the grass. Cute! They also have cleansing juice you can purchase for one day, two days, three days, up to five day type of detox thing. I think that's really cool and the prices weren't bad at all either. Service was great! They were nice and patient as I scoped the menu to see what I wanted. I like chocolate and peanut butter, so the young lady helped me with that decision and I settled on the chocolate peanut butter smoothie, that had pea protein, agave nectar, cashew milk, chocolate, and peanut butter. It was very creamy and had some texture to it, which was great. It was not overwhelming, and a regular was perfect size. I bought my husband a pink flamingo smoothie which had pineapple, coconut water, strawberries, and dragon fruit in it. He said it was really good! Juices are outrageously expensive and yet they still want to ask us for a tip. I'm sorry, but no, I'm tired of being asked for a tip with fast food and now juice bars. Minimum wage is very high for the non skilled labor right now and tips are when the service industry is paid 3 dollars per hour and lives off tips. Not 15 dollars an hour and higher sometimes, for doing their job and yet still wanting a tip. It's so ridiculous and is why we boycott places that put their customers in such an awkward situation. Even in service industries where tips are expected, they don't ask you for one. So tacky. My favorite one is, "there's a question for you first" LOL it's crazy to us. Service industries serve, they spend time with you serving all your needs while there. Tipping is out of control. Especially when we can just buy a juicer these days. So, we just went back to doing the work ourselves with our juicer. We hate it, but we hate being asked for a tip and then weaponizing it against us when we don't. We feel paying 35 dollars for juice is enough, but if owners think we need to still tip, then we don't feel valued and we won't come in. And trust me, I am an over tipper when it's a tipping situation. I worked for tips most of my working career, and tips were never asked for and at 10%, 15%, or 20% for one drink! That was for a long time of service while you sat and ate dinner, sat at the bar, or had an hour massage, etc. Bartending, a dollar a drink was standard, sometimes for mixed it was more, but what if you were asked to tip 20% for a drink? That's absurd! We tip what we want, don't give us only three options, put us on the spot, and then decide what the amounts are. lol Tips are for the industries that don't get paid minimum wage or for something that you really served them like doing a pedicure or hair and those are skilled labor positions that they had to pay and go to school and sometimes pay for their supplies! Here is where Nektar really fails though, we are sure we were forced to wait 15 minutes plus when the place was totally empty because we didn't tip. We knew it was on purpose. Owners, this is for you, you will fail if you keep charging crazy high prices and still have the nerve to ask for a tip. Just saying read more

We come here several times a month and our favorites are the bowls, which offer a jam packed bite of yummy nutritious eats. A few of my favorite things from Nekter are the freshly squeezed juices, acai bowls and ginger shots. Love that you can get your drinks with or without ice (definitely don't want watered down freshly squeezed juice) Love that they have drinks options you can get already made. (Juice cleanse) This makes life so easy when your body needs a reset. Finally made it over here. Love the modern industrial architecture. Location was super clean. We don't really do juice too often though I love vegetable juicing. The girls had already had a special treat today. I picked up six bottles of the Celery Detox Total Body Reset which includes a prebiotic for around $30. I don't care to use anything with over 20 grams of sugar. The Skinny Lemonade also has a low amount of sugar. I am so glad we have one on this side of town now. Glad to see this location is finally open. After a few errands this morning I stopped by with my daughter. The location is bright yet small. The light makes it feel larger and inviting. Along with high tables there's cozy chairs in the corner as well as a couple smaller ones as well. Service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a few açaí bowls to go. Using my app I had a coupon which was easy to use and earn me points. Store was clean and we had our items quickly. The açaí bowls were so good and fruit fresh. Never felt the need to write a review till now. Waiting with my boyfriend for almost 30 minutes (gave them the benefit of the doubt) and still no drinks. Finally walked up to ask what was going on because EIGHT other people got their drinks/ food. Our food and drinks were ready sitting out (melted and food cold by now) just never called our names. Did they think we were just waiting there for fun?? Not sure if they profiled us or not....(my boyfriend is Arabic). One bowl was nice and full with fresh fruit, the other bowl lacked fruit, was watery and was only about 75% full compared to the other bowl. I come here all the time, I think you get great quality for the price, the bowls are really filling and fresh, the smoothies are tasty and I always feel good for making a healthy choice when drinking one. Their house made cashew milk pairs well with their products and I love their house made chia pudding in my bowls too! The only thing to make note or before going is that the space is very tiny inside (not their fault) so I like to order ahead and pick up at the counter so I don't have to wait around too long. I do wish they had oat milk as an option, some of the smoothies I wish I could get oat milk with. Hopefully in the future they offer some other milk options. read more

Place is good it's consistent while I have not been to this location I have been to others. In fact I'm a repeat customer. Quality is there freshness and the stores I went to were over accommodating. Gave me samplers, made suggestions, and were there to answer questions. I frequently go there in winter months for immunity boosters. One thing is the cost it's not cheap but nor are the ingredients.
